Shameful Missouri State
Fair stunt smears Obama

Kansas City Star [KS], by Yael T. Abouhalkah

Original Article

Posted By:gorton, 8/11/2013 7:11:02 PM

The taxpayer-supported Missouri State Fair is getting a lot of negative publicity in social media Sunday following a report of a shameful stunt that occurred Saturday night in Sedalia. (Snip) Basically, a clown wearing a mask of Obama came out during the bull riding event. The crowd was asked if it wanted to see Obama “run down by a bull. Things got worse from there." Things got worse from there, which doesn’t surprise me, given the anti-Obama feeling among many fairgoers from rural Missouri, where Obama lost to Mitt Romney (at least 60-40 percent in much of outlying parts of state)

Comments:
A reporter named Abouhalkah is horrified by rodeo clowns wearing an Obama mask. Looks like this is his first rodeo.

Please note corrections, including proper use of "Snip" when editing and posting to word limit. Headline needed splitting. LCom Staff.

My first thought was of Saturday Night Live skewering Gerald Ford as a bumbling idiot, and of George Bush as simply an idiot. No outcries of being disrespectful for that.

obama treats us with disrespect on a daily basis so I don´t really care about hurting his fragile ego. Frankly they could have put the mask right under the bull´s tail and let the chips fall where they may. This has probably ruined his whole vacation.

Apparently they had to comb through all of rural Missouri to find two or three people who found this stunt disrespectful. I find it hilarious just like the idea of thinking of Obama as a president and pontificating that he deserves respect. For what, his golf score? His concern for the American people? His glorious record in foreign policy?

The bull is something that barry is very close to, so it was an appropriate skit. So Yael, how did the bull feel about it?

Obama is doing his best to destroy our country. If that is not an act of disrespect for the entire citizenry, I don´t know what is.
While the office of POTUS deserves respect, the person of this POTUS deserves none.

The way W was savaged so viciously, and in so many different ways, is truly sad and truly sickening - and something of which pretty much everyone except his admirers is still in denial.

Here, in a rare case of Zippy getting a little dose himself, they make the mistake of getting a little too rough, and in a taxpayer-funded event, and it gets called out in bold print. How ironic. Obama has it made...

The clown who did this was probably aware of the fact that shortly after a visit to Warrensburg, a terrorist was let go on murder charges. Thin skin, indeed.

zippy was in no way harmed. Being 1,200 miles away? No harm. The rules are seriously different for those of the other party.

The whole thing sounds hilarious , including the hybèrbolic recounting by the frantic writer.
The writer wants the Secret Service to investigate , but,he did note that Obama
was " never in any danger ".
That´s because Obama a ) was 2,000 miles away at his multimillion dollar luxury vacation .
And b) it was a spoof.
Did he have the same reaction to the off Broadway play about doing away with President Bush ?
Of course not.

I am a Missouri resident and am not at all surprised that the KC Star would print this type of article. We sometimes wonder if it is owned my the NY Times bunch.

As for the act in question I have to agree with most of the above posters, the vitriol slung at Presidents Bush(both of them) and Ford were sometime much worse and I personally don´t see anything wrong with what was done. It wasn´t an insult to the office but instead directed at a creature that needs and has earned it.

The affirmative action affect--we are supposed to be conditioned to know in movies that the black sidekick of the protagonist is better than most humans, wise, self-sacrificing, stronger than Whitey, what else in this standard character?

Can´t even make fun of the man who speaks to hear himself talk (everyone else gone obaMao deaf) ´s white half because it is socialist so also invisible to the corrupt left leaning media and their minions.

ObaMao´s stunts shame obaMao. That the media tried to destroy GWB even if it destroyed the country is a given and the result of that blatant hate and the hate of democrats makes the jokes at the expense of fork-tongued socialist community organizer prez a-okay. Bring ´em on?

Couldn´t tell the truth during the election and now can´t make jokes either. When will obaMao grow up and stand like a man, a man who claimed the office of the most powerful man on earth but isn´t and who if tries will get troops killed for his vanity and pride.

His $7.6 mil vacation in the Hamptons lightly taken as any entitlement is in entitlement mentality is, is the real shame and they bring it on themselves as do the dems and media dems who uphold it.

Equal is as equal does?

Anyway his idea of a State Fair is probably chopping off body parts that offend him. Like was found in the City Soccer Stadium in Kabul when the US Troops first liberated it from the TALLY-BAN.

Wasn´t there. Didn´t see it. I do remember that rodeo clowns did such things fifty and sixty years ago.

And at fairs you could throw baseballs at masks of various politicians.

Only five years ago you could do anything to an image of Bush.

But Obama is sacred. In the class with Stalin and Mao; a pair the left also still worships.

When a lot of people with Muslim sounding names use the word shameful to describe Islamic terrorism and the murder and torture of Christians and Jews, I might start paying attention to other things they write. I also think that people from countries who persecute Christians should not be allowed into the United States. Either that or they should be put up with liberals in their houses so that our minorities, gays, lesbians, feminists, and atheists can really appreciate the ideals and lifestyles of their Islamic brothers.

Note how the title is designed to damn the Missouri State Fair, rather than just the stunt? Many would call it hilarious. The laughingly leftist KC Star and their ace (totally unbiased) reporter Yael T. Abouhalkah call it shameful. I am also sick of anytime someone speaks against obama, it´s turned into a "RACIST" thing. I think only the people who voted for him just because he is black, resort to the racist accusations. So now they´re talking about pulling funding for the state fair totally? What a bunch of hypocrites!

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

Prominent Washington correspondents are accusing President Obama and his aides of knowingly stretching the truth on issues like the so-called women´s pay gap just to create controversy and keep issues -- and the president -- relevant. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote.
