Now The Brutal Bias From The Orlando

– The Editorial Review Was Full Frontal
Racial Bias From Black Content Approvers….

Perhaps people already knew this and I’m the first to catch on to the obvious. When Rene Stutzman from the Orlando Sentinel told me the editorial board had decided “what” content would be “permitted to be discussed” within the reporting of her newspaper, I had no idea the Senior Vice-President / Director of Content was African American. Nor did I know the editor she was talking about, Mark Russell, was also African American. It just never crossed my mind to ask.

They were not permitted to write anything on Trayvon´s background - the fact that he´d been expelled (not just suspended) from Krop High School; his family structure; none of that was to alter the existing narrative.

Any wonder why print newspapers and magazines are a dying breed? If I want fiction I can go to the library and borrow a book. The news media is the propaganda arm of the Democrat party.

The astonishing investigative research by Sundance continues. Cashill is using a lot of what he´s dug up (we´re talking documents, not just speculation) for his upcoming book

Many of us were critical of Rene Stutzman, who was the Orlando Sentinel´s lead reporter on this case. It is clear that her hands were tied. But that still doesn´t say much for her journalistic integrity. The regular paycheck counted for more.

That is some article!

Apparently, there is no depth of dishonesty that a black racist won´t stoop to if it advances the Race Card Narrative, and there is not any honor among journalists --black or white. How is this any different than the AP covering up for 0b@$tard´s ignorance?

And St. Skittle´s thuggish background and the fractured family truth is all out in the open anyway.

I wouldn´t trust the Orlando Sentinel to report on a pie eating contest.

Re #6, some of us are natural born and schooled editors. We never forget those As we got in English. But often those who didn´t do so well are the ones who are out there doing original work that has great value. So we plow through any errors and typos and try to focus on the wheat rather than the chaff.

Great investigative journalism here, not just by Sundance but also by Jack Cashill, who deserves a Medal of Freedom AND a Pulitzer for his relentless pursuit of the truth.

Now it´s clear that the many affirmative action hires in the media are not only not improving race relations but are also resulting in even more overt race bias in the media BY POLICY. I´d like to see more of such exposure (NYT, LAT, CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.).

Anyone with experience of inner city thugs knew from the start that Trayvon Martin was one such and that he tried to kill Zimmerman because that’s a mark of distinction among inner city thugs. It both was and wasn’t about race – TM woulda tried to kill whoever followed him, black or white; but GZ being white just made it sweeter. Woulda been the same had the races been reversed. White thugs are just as vicious as their black counterparts.

#17 ~ according to racial assignment laws current in Southern states until quite recently (certainly my memory, and probably Lucianne´s) ~ both participants would have been classified as ´black´.

What this story is telling us is that somebody at that newspaper dropped the ball and pursued the story just as if George Zimmerman were white and Jewish KNOWING HE WASN´T.

I´m not surprised. This episode has nothing to do with Zimmerman or Trayvon. It´s about ´racial injustice´. It was inconvenient that Zimmerman was hispanic so they invented white hispanic. The story works better if Trayvon´s a saint, poof he´s 12 again. White´s are lynching blacks and getting away with it. It helped Obama get his voters out in Florida. Reverend Al got him a young, hot squeeze out of it. America got a another jolt of white guilt.

Until we get race hustlers out of prominent places, the law as we know it is dead. Obama and Holder are the ringleaders but the problem goes deep. When you can´t depend upon the Department of Justice to honestly apply the law and you can´t depend on a major news source to tell the truth - ever, something serious and reconstructive needs to be done. The past five years have been educational, if nothing else.

One of the reasons that the military has not talked to newsies since the Vietnam War is the spin that they put on everything. If what you say does not jive with what they want you to say, they either twist your words or completely ignore what you said. Affirmative action has not helped deserving people get ahead. It merely puts the incompetent in place of the competent. It puts racists in the place of goodhearted people. Affirmative action sets up women and minorities to fail. Instead of teaching them the job, and letting them learn how it functions, we put them in charge with little or no training so they will fail. I do not have a solution, but it is now obvious that the one we came up with after the civil rights movement is the wrong one.

There´s a difference between "needing an English teacher" and needing to write clearly and coherently.

We overlook any number of grammatical and syntactical clangers in our more or less conversational comments here, because few of us are professional writers or editors. But anyone who claims a byline should hew to a higher standard. Really -- it won´t get in the way of a good story, and might even help.

An eye-catching A.P. story, published Thursday, revealed that, in 2010, the United States Agency for International Development (U.S.A.I.D.) covertly deployed a social-media program in Cuba in the hope of bringing about a Cuban Spring. The network, called ZunZuneo, was offered to Cubans via the country’s mobile-phone network as a free text service, and attracted forty thousand subscribers before mysteriously ending operations in 2012.
