During a press conference yesterday, President Obama revealed the existence of a sealed indictment in the Benghazi attacks in Libya on September 11, 2012, leaving some experts questioning whether the president broke the law. Federal law states that ´no person may disclose [a sealed] indictment´s existence,´ and that doing so may be ´punished as a contempt of court,´ a charge that carries a minimum sentence of six months prison. The announcement came as a surprise to some insiders, as the existence of a sealed indictment has not been publicly confirmed or denied by law enforcement or
0bama keeps reminding us that he said he would get Osama bin Laden, and he did. What he fails to add is that without Bush´s waterboarding (which 0bama said was torture and said he would never do), so without the information retrieved from this waterboarding, he would never have had all the information which allowed 0bama to find Osama. Most of us are skeptical, as the Benghazi investigation was delayed for so long, this administration has stonewalled and not been open with what actually went on in Benghazi. So it is hard to trust anything he says about Benghazi.
What difference does it make? He´s already broken so many laws and committed so many violations of our Constitution he could earn a life sentence- but, until we get a supervising congress, so what? He truly is above the law and there is not one day-um thing anyone will do about it.
Whether the laws apply to him or not the spineless Republicans will not enforce them - not against Obama - not against Holder - not against IRS officials - not against anyone associated with the Obama administration!
Under CRT (Critical Race Theory) being taught in the colleges these days any laws written by racist white men (like the Constitution) don´t apply to blacks. So in theory obama hasn´t broken any laws and he will continue unchallenged. No one in DC wants to be called a racist better to let the country be destroyed than to be called that name. Oh will bye bye Republic.
This Administration pays NO attention to the rule of law, to the US Constitution, to the other branches of government, and no one does a darned thing about it!! Do others suspect, as I do, that those not within the Administration have been threatened or are being blackmailed, thereby allowing this rogue Administration to do as it pleases with impunity?
Is there a dire and deadly serious crime being committed that no one in print mentions? Is it easier to call most in the government weak than it is to call the President and his gang criminals?
But then his whole transformation thing meant that by using his racist accusations he could literally get away with murder. Our Constitution has survived much but the fabric of the union is being completely destroyed with the hatred he promotes daily.
Once again, the Brits have come to the rescue of the American commoners by reporting critical news that our own worthless msm refusing to report.
The repeated question, "Did President Obama Break the Law" is not new anymore. The real question is, how will the repeated law breaking ultimately be dealt with and how will the msm be made to get its own house in order? Whats it going to take to wake us up?
We once were "a nation of laws and not of men." Obama is a criminal in the most blatant sense and disobeys whatever law he chooses. If we had an honorable government he would without question be impeached.
If you read the complete article, near the end you get to this quote from another universe:
"According to a former lawyer for Justice Department´s Public Integrity Section, by virtue of his position, leaking classified information turns it into authorized information. Peter Zeidenberg told ABC News, ´Nothing he says is technically a leak. If he does it, it is authorized.´ However, had any other official mentioned the existence of the indictment, they would have been guilty of contempt of court."
WHAT?! That makes absolutely no sense. and then this resident of the alternate universe, Zeidenberg, goes on to say:
"Zeidenberg said that it is, however, possible to form an argument that a sealed matter can only be unsealed by a court."
I have never seen such double talk in my entire life. I feel like I´m in some sort of weird dream that I can´t wake up from.
He is like the schoolyard bully who has pulled the wool over the eyes of his teachers and think little BO is so cute and smart. His attitude is, "Whad´a ya´ gonna do ´bout it?"
He has a Star Trekkian "deflector shield", namely, he looks more like his father than his mother. The media will not hold him to account. He knows it; he exploits every weakness-of-will and sycophancy on their parts.
By the way, this is the way most tyrants rise to power and consolidate it. Our Republic requires or depends on Citizens, including those having political positions, protecting the Constitution.
Now we see some who are fighting for our Constitution, but look what happens! His fellow Party members turn on him with tooth and fang... despicable.
We can´t be "Sunshine Patriots". There is a lot of work to be done and not much more time.
Let´s see. Obama is shuffling potential witnesses around the country and changing their names to avoid testifying. So now he can´t wait to put this guy on the stand. Not. Obama, State, the military, the CIA and most of Congress want this to just go away.
Obi wan kibammy, aka Barry Skywalker, doesn´t care what you think. All of official Washington connived in his illegal election and reelection. We are well and truly screwed unless we take matters into our own hands.
The rhetorical questions posed by me indicate an answer in the affirmative but do not ´bear´ directly on Popes, bears,Catholics, or the woods. Also the joke is so old that I thought best to invert it just to freshen it up a little.
It´s past time talking about OBozo. WE´ve known and aren´t surprised by anything he does anymore, he´s such a Marxist dog. It´s time to take to task the ENTIRE dc organization of crooks and inepts. Hold a Constitutional convention and may the states who wish to band together do so. Tell dc we will no longer abide by anything they do or say. We will stop paying their income tax. We will restore a business atmosphere condusive to prosperity. We the people are taking back our country. The only way out of this swamp, folks.
Fact-- Since Hispanics are not a separate race racism doesn´t apply to them. Next fact -- that means 90% of the population is so caught up in words racism and racial they allow 10% of the population to override the Constitution. Today´s population did Not enslave the currant black population so stop playing the radicals game pushed by about 3% of that number. Our black citizens who are unhappy can always move to Africa. Our unhappy white population should grow up.
An unknown number of Target Corp customers shopping over the busy Black Friday weekend had their credit card information stolen in an "extensive" breach of the U.S. retailer´s security, Dow Jones reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. The theft may have occurred through software installed at machines customers use to swipe their cards when paying, Dow Jones cited one of the unidentified sources as saying. The Black Friday weekend after Thanksgiving is among the busiest shopping periods of the year. Target did not respond to requests for comment.
Raleigh, N.C.--Over the last seven years, thousands of children have passed through the exam rooms of Dr. Albertina Smith´s office off Capital Boulevard. [Snip] "For the past seven years, it´s been good for me," Smith said. "In fact, because I had so little capital when I started the practice, it was easy to start because Medicaid is typically very reliable when it comes to payment." When the state flipped the switch on its new Medicaid system in July, it created a big problem for Smith--about 90 percent of her payments just stopped coming. "In my mind, the beginning of July
A dying patient who was escorted out of a North Carolina hospital for being ´uncooperative´ was loaded into a taxi where he was later found dead by his mother, she has claimed. Deborah Washington has filed a lawsuit against AlliedBurton Security Services claiming their staff at Cumberland County Hospital forcibly removed her adult son even though he was dying or already dead. She claims that the guards took A´Darrin Washington, 30, from the hospital, carried him from his wheelchair to a waiting taxi, buckled him up and sent him home even though he was gravely ill. Mr Washington was found dead in the
Western nations have admitted to the Syrian opposition that they cannot remove President Bashar al-Assad from power as it would risk Islamist militants taking control of the war-torn country. Officials revealed it will likely be essential to keep Assad´s Alawite minority in any transitional administration. The message, delivered to senior members of the Syrian National Coalition at a meeting of the anti-Assad Friends of Syria alliance in London last week, was prompted by rise of al Qaeda and other militant groups. They have taken over a border crossing and arms depots near Turkey belonging to the moderate Free Syrian Army, the sources told
The BBC faced fresh criticism today for failing to spot that a botched £100million IT project had run into serious trouble. The Digital Media Initiative, which was supposed to allow staff to share and manage videos from their desks, was axed in May after MPs branded its collapse an ‘outrage’. A new report today accused the Corporation of being too slow to act and having a management system which was ‘not fit for purpose’. The report by PricewaterhouseCoopers found key controls on spending failed and the project was allowed to slip further into problems. In response Diane Coyle, Vice Chairman
Daniel Heckman, senior fixed income strategist at US Bank Wealth Management A lot of people had gone short into this meeting expecting some announcement even if they had not felt confident in voicing that. Ultimately, this will allow the yield curve to steepen a little bit more especially if we get some more encouraging economic data. The announcement is bond-market friendly in terms of the limited size of the tapering so we´re seeing some short-covering. Richard Franulovich, senior currency strategist at Westpac The forward guidance from the Fed has offset the tapering announcement. The Fed has come along and
US Secretary of State John Kerry has called a top Indian official to express his regret over the treatment of an Indian diplomat in New York arrested on suspicion of visa fraud. Devyani Khobragade, deputy consul general, was handcuffed upon arrest last week and later strip-searched. Mr Kerry spoke with India´s national security adviser, who had described the treatment as "despicable and barbaric". He said the "unfortunate" incident should not damage US-Indian relations. Ms Khobragade has denied allegations of visa fraud and making false statements, after she was accused of underpaying her Indian maid. The maid had complained the diplomat was paying her less
No. Enough of this. Middle-aged and elderly people drink more than the young, is the headline, coupled with the "More in sorrow than in anger but definitely with an urge for government action" quotation from a lobby group/charity/We-Know-What´s-Good-For-You person, in this case Elaine Hindal, chief exec of "alcohol education charity" Drinkaware (isn´t that the industry-sponsored body?): [Snip] I did not tramp about London in the rain shoving unread leaflets through disinterested letter-boxes, one small atom in the maelstrom of activity that resulted in the despatch of the New Labour terror from office, in order to continue to be lectured by charities
Prince Charles spoke out last night for Christians targeted by fanatics in the Middle East. [Snip] ‘For 20 years I have tried to build bridges between Islam and Christianity to dispel ignorance and misunderstanding,’ he told a reception for Middle East Christians at Clarence House in London. ´The point though surely is that we have now reached a crisis where bridges are rapidly being deliberately destroyed by those with a vested interest in doing so. ‘This is achieved through intimidation, false accusation and organised persecution including to the Christian communities in the Middle East.’ He said this affected Arab Christians
President Obama, Vice President Biden, and their families will skip the opening or closing ceremonies of the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, breaking with recent tradition that has seen very senior White House officials in attendance when athletes from around the world arrive for competition. The move will be seen as a snub of Russian President Vladimir Putin, since the last four Olympics saw far more senior administration officials in attendance. And adding to the in-your-face decision, the U.S. will include an openly gay athlete, Billie Jean King, among its luminaries when the Sochi games open--in defiance of Russia´s
Nearly 5 million poor, uninsured adults will have no subsidized coverage options under the Affordable Care Act next year. Three-quarters of them live in the South and more than half are minorities, according a new report by the nonprofit Kaiser Family Foundation. In South Carolina, 104,000 white adults and 83,000 black adults with very low incomes will not qualify for Medicaid or a subsidy to help pay for health insurance next year. South Carolina, like most other Southern states led by Republican governors, is not expanding Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act. These residents who fall below 100 percent of
Michelle Obama has let Santa´s list slip as she revealed what she will be getting the President for Christmas. The First Lady said that she will be getting Barack some gym clothes as his big present this year. ´He said that’s what he wanted,´ she said at a reading of Twas The Night Before Christmas at a children´s hospital in D.C. on Monday. She was the first to catch on to how her revelation may be connected to her ongoing fitness campaign to fight obesity and increase exercise. ´I’m not forcing my husband to work out,´ she said.
President Barack Obama sent Russia a clear message about its treatment of gays and lesbians with who he is — and isn’t — sending to represent the United States at the Sochi Olympics. Billie Jean King will be one of two openly gay athletes in the U.S. delegation for the opening and closing ceremonies, Obama announced Tuesday. For the first time since 2000, however, the U.S. will not send a president, former president, first lady or vice president to the Games. Russia has come under fierce criticism for passing national laws banning “gay propaganda.” Though the White House did not specifically address
The gay and lesbian rights group GLAAD is slamming ´Duck Dynasty´ patriarch Phil Robertson for comments he made about homosexuality to GQ magazine, and challenging the show´s network, A&E, to take action against its most popular star. In a wide-ranging interview, Robertson shared his thoughts on homosexuality and religion. After stating in very graphic terms his preference for heterosexual sex over homosexual sex, Robertson launched into more thoughts about homosexuality and sinning. “Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong... Sin becomes fine,” he said.
Yes, she really said it. On CNN’s Piers Morgan Live Tuesday, in a brief discussion about President Obama, Barbara Walters actually said, “We thought that he was going to be - I shouldn´t say this at Christmastime, but - the next messiah” (video follows with transcript and commentary): PIERS MORGAN, HOST: You have interviewed every president of my lifetime. Why is Obama facing so much opposition now? Why is he struggling so much to really fulfill the great flame of ambition and excitement that he was elected on originally in 2009?
Reportage of last week´s Nelson Mandela funeral reveals clearly enough that President Obama has reached the point in his tenure where everything ceases to go right -- when even the most serious and determined efforts deteriorate into a hash, or worse, a joke. This happens to everyone in public life eventually, politicians above all. The original attraction wears thin, flaws appear more prominently, styles and opinions change. There is little the individual can do to avoid this.(snip)The Mandela funeral shows that Obama is deep into this phase of his career, and has landed on his head.
Michelle Obama has once again stepped out in her $6,800 J Mendel jacket, despite fielding a backlash last time she wore the pricey garment. [Snip] But the last time she wore the embellished garment, in July 2012 at a Buckingham Palace reception in London, political commentators took issue with the fact that she had spent so much on fashion while so many in the U.S. are suffering financially. A post on the Gateway Pundit blog remarked that the design ´cost more than the average American family makes in a month ($4,284)´. ´She does this as Americans continue to suffer through a
Everyone is doing thoughtful year-end pieces on President Obama. Writers and reporters agree he’s had his worst year ever. I infer from most of their essays an unstated but broadly held sense of foreboding: There’s no particular reason to believe next year will be better, and in fact signs and indications point to continued trouble. I would add that in recent weeks I have begun to worry about the basic competency of the administration, its ability to perform the most fundamental duties of executive management. One reason I worry is that I frequently speak with people who interact with the White
London – Large tapestry portraits of President Barack Obama were unveiled for guests at the U.S. Embassy in London over the weekend. The recently-installed, large-scale tapestry portraits were created by National Medal of Arts winner and renowned American painter, photographer Chuck Close. Close created the portraits by compiling and interweaving Polaroids of the president from an hour-long photo shoot done the summer before, the Washington Post reports. The portraits are nearly 8 feet tall and more than 6 feet wide, with the final piece looking like photos but feeling like textiles. Close used one photo of Obama smiling and another
John Podesta was just named as a new senior-level adviser to President Obama last week, but he´s already ruffling Republican feathers. In a profile published late Tuesday night by Politico Magazine, Podesta is quoted comparing Republicans to the infamous cult led by Jim Jones, who was responsible for the 1978 cyanide poisoning of more than 900 of his followers in Guyana. "They need to focus on executive action given that they are facing a second term against a cult worthy of Jonestown in charge of one of the houses of Congress," said Podesta of what Obama´s White House team faces.
On Monday, Variety reported that Fox News had once again dominated all comers I the annual ratings, not merely blowing out CNN, MSNBC and HLN, but drawing more viewers than the combined averages of the three other networks. Fox News averaged 1.774 million viewers in primetime; the other three averaged a combined 1.626 million viewers in primetime. Fox finished sixth among all basic cable companies. The addition of Megyn Kelly to primetime has been a boon for Roger Ailes and company, with Kelly up 23% in total viewers in the timeslot. No wonder CNN, which is struggling to outpace Headline
The U.S. Army War College, which molds future field generals, has begun discussing whether it should remove its portraits of Confederate generals — including those of Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. Nestled in rural Pennsylvania on the 500-acre Carlisle Barracks, the war college is conducting an inventory of all its paintings and photographs with an eye for rehanging them in historical themes to tell a particular Army story. During the inventory, an unidentified official — not the commandant, Maj. Gen. Anthony A. Cucolo III — asked the administration why the college honors two generals who fought against the United States,
Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) took some shots at his fellow Republicans during Tuesday’s Senate debate over the proposed bipartisan budget deal put together by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA). Joining the more moderate wing of the Republican Party, McCain declared his strong support for the deal and accused any members of the GOP who plan to vote against it of lacking “intellectual integrity.” McCain said he was supporting the bill for two reasons: One, to prevent the possibility of another government shutdown, and two, to alleviate the “devastating impact of sequestration on our military.” “The American people steadfastly
Valerie Jarrett denied being a “shadow chief of staff” to President Obama on Wednesday, insisting she never talks about work during her private time with the president and first lady. “I´m not the shadow chief of staff. I have very specific responsibilities,” Jarrett, a senior adviser to the president and a longtime family friend of the Obamas, said at a Politico breakfast. [WATCH VIDEO] Jarrett said that “people sometimes presume because I am a friend of the president and first lady” that she´s able to exert influence when the Obamas retire from the office to their residence. “There is this
