During a press conference yesterday, President Obama revealed the existence of a sealed indictment in the Benghazi attacks in Libya on September 11, 2012, leaving some experts questioning whether the president broke the law. Federal law states that ´no person may disclose [a sealed] indictment´s existence,´ and that doing so may be ´punished as a contempt of court,´ a charge that carries a minimum sentence of six months prison. The announcement came as a surprise to some insiders, as the existence of a sealed indictment has not been publicly confirmed or denied by law enforcement or
0bama keeps reminding us that he said he would get Osama bin Laden, and he did. What he fails to add is that without Bush´s waterboarding (which 0bama said was torture and said he would never do), so without the information retrieved from this waterboarding, he would never have had all the information which allowed 0bama to find Osama. Most of us are skeptical, as the Benghazi investigation was delayed for so long, this administration has stonewalled and not been open with what actually went on in Benghazi. So it is hard to trust anything he says about Benghazi.
What difference does it make? He´s already broken so many laws and committed so many violations of our Constitution he could earn a life sentence- but, until we get a supervising congress, so what? He truly is above the law and there is not one day-um thing anyone will do about it.
Whether the laws apply to him or not the spineless Republicans will not enforce them - not against Obama - not against Holder - not against IRS officials - not against anyone associated with the Obama administration!
Under CRT (Critical Race Theory) being taught in the colleges these days any laws written by racist white men (like the Constitution) don´t apply to blacks. So in theory obama hasn´t broken any laws and he will continue unchallenged. No one in DC wants to be called a racist better to let the country be destroyed than to be called that name. Oh will bye bye Republic.
This Administration pays NO attention to the rule of law, to the US Constitution, to the other branches of government, and no one does a darned thing about it!! Do others suspect, as I do, that those not within the Administration have been threatened or are being blackmailed, thereby allowing this rogue Administration to do as it pleases with impunity?
Is there a dire and deadly serious crime being committed that no one in print mentions? Is it easier to call most in the government weak than it is to call the President and his gang criminals?
But then his whole transformation thing meant that by using his racist accusations he could literally get away with murder. Our Constitution has survived much but the fabric of the union is being completely destroyed with the hatred he promotes daily.
Once again, the Brits have come to the rescue of the American commoners by reporting critical news that our own worthless msm refusing to report.
The repeated question, "Did President Obama Break the Law" is not new anymore. The real question is, how will the repeated law breaking ultimately be dealt with and how will the msm be made to get its own house in order? Whats it going to take to wake us up?
We once were "a nation of laws and not of men." Obama is a criminal in the most blatant sense and disobeys whatever law he chooses. If we had an honorable government he would without question be impeached.
If you read the complete article, near the end you get to this quote from another universe:
"According to a former lawyer for Justice Department´s Public Integrity Section, by virtue of his position, leaking classified information turns it into authorized information. Peter Zeidenberg told ABC News, ´Nothing he says is technically a leak. If he does it, it is authorized.´ However, had any other official mentioned the existence of the indictment, they would have been guilty of contempt of court."
WHAT?! That makes absolutely no sense. and then this resident of the alternate universe, Zeidenberg, goes on to say:
"Zeidenberg said that it is, however, possible to form an argument that a sealed matter can only be unsealed by a court."
I have never seen such double talk in my entire life. I feel like I´m in some sort of weird dream that I can´t wake up from.
He is like the schoolyard bully who has pulled the wool over the eyes of his teachers and think little BO is so cute and smart. His attitude is, "Whad´a ya´ gonna do ´bout it?"
He has a Star Trekkian "deflector shield", namely, he looks more like his father than his mother. The media will not hold him to account. He knows it; he exploits every weakness-of-will and sycophancy on their parts.
By the way, this is the way most tyrants rise to power and consolidate it. Our Republic requires or depends on Citizens, including those having political positions, protecting the Constitution.
Now we see some who are fighting for our Constitution, but look what happens! His fellow Party members turn on him with tooth and fang... despicable.
We can´t be "Sunshine Patriots". There is a lot of work to be done and not much more time.
Let´s see. Obama is shuffling potential witnesses around the country and changing their names to avoid testifying. So now he can´t wait to put this guy on the stand. Not. Obama, State, the military, the CIA and most of Congress want this to just go away.
Obi wan kibammy, aka Barry Skywalker, doesn´t care what you think. All of official Washington connived in his illegal election and reelection. We are well and truly screwed unless we take matters into our own hands.
The rhetorical questions posed by me indicate an answer in the affirmative but do not ´bear´ directly on Popes, bears,Catholics, or the woods. Also the joke is so old that I thought best to invert it just to freshen it up a little.
It´s past time talking about OBozo. WE´ve known and aren´t surprised by anything he does anymore, he´s such a Marxist dog. It´s time to take to task the ENTIRE dc organization of crooks and inepts. Hold a Constitutional convention and may the states who wish to band together do so. Tell dc we will no longer abide by anything they do or say. We will stop paying their income tax. We will restore a business atmosphere condusive to prosperity. We the people are taking back our country. The only way out of this swamp, folks.
Fact-- Since Hispanics are not a separate race racism doesn´t apply to them. Next fact -- that means 90% of the population is so caught up in words racism and racial they allow 10% of the population to override the Constitution. Today´s population did Not enslave the currant black population so stop playing the radicals game pushed by about 3% of that number. Our black citizens who are unhappy can always move to Africa. Our unhappy white population should grow up.
Canada Post will phase out home delivery in urban areas over the next five years as the postal service struggles to rein in persistent losses. Under a five-year plan released on Wednesday, the cost of stamps will also rise and as many as 8,000 jobs will be eliminated. But the agency says it will also open more retail locations across Canada. The service faces a projected 1bn Canadian dollar ($943m; £576m) loss by 2020 without "fundamental changes". Canada Post lost C$73m in the third quarter of the current fiscal year, CBC News reported.

The US and Britain have suspended all non-lethal assistance in to northern Syria after forces from the new Islamic Front seized headquarters and warehouses belonging to the opposition’s Supreme Military Council. Fighters from the Front, a union of six major rebel groups, took control of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) bases at the Bab al-Hawa crossing on Syria’s northwestern border with Turkey late on Friday. Turkey shut its side of the border crossing, in Hatay province, due to a reported increase in clashes on the Syrian side, customs sources told the Reuters news agency. There was no immediate confirmation from
There’s a YouTube clip I can’t stop watching called “Margaret Thatcher don’t want to jump”. The then Prime Minister has just reached the end of a TV interview, and the presenter is asking her to “make a little jump”. “Why?” It’s “just a gimmick” that all her guests do. Thatcher raises an eyebrow. “I bet that you wouldn’t do it,” says the presenter, becoming at the same time conciliatory, wheedling, insistent. “Just a little jump.” Come on. “Gorbachev did it.” “But what”, inquires the Iron Lady icily, “is the point of it?” “It just shows another side
NHS patients will benefit from a new brain scan that can help doctors confirm or rule out a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease. David Cameron will announce tomorrow that Britain will be the first place in the world where the revolutionary technique will be available for free. The test will mean that, for the first time, doctors will be able to definitively rule out Alzheimer’s in some patients for five years. Currently, one in five cases of the disease is misdiagnosed. It could also help doctors to confirm an existing diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, ensuring people get the treatment they need.
Barack Obama is facing poll numbers that are now in the same territory as President George W. Bush´s following Hurricane Katrina. The Quinnipiac University Polling Institute released numbers on Tuesday showing that just 38 percent of registered voters approve of the job Obama is doing as president, with a whopping 56 percent saying they disapprove. The president has lost his landslide electoral edge among young voters, too, with a negative 41–49 percent rating among 18- to 29-year-old voters. His once formidable support among Hispanics has also evaporated: They now support him by an historically small 50–43 percent margin.
Secretary of State John Kerry boasted in a congressional hearing on Tuesday that a recent nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran will make America ´more secure than the day before we entered this agreement.´ [Snip] But ´this agreement halts the progress of Iran´s nuclear program--Halts the program!´ he boasted. ´Iran´s nuclear program will not move forward. Under this agreement, Iran will have to neutralize--end!--its entire supply of 20 percent-enriched uranium, which you know is a short step away from weapons-grade uranium.´ ´Iran will forfeit all--not part--all of that 20 percent [enriched material], that 200-kilogram stockpile. Gone!´
More than 100 members of the BBC have been deployed to South Africa to cover Nelson Mandela’s death and memorial service. Staff were flown out to cover the story in the week the corporation received more than 1,000 complaints from viewers about local news and the storms being ignored to cover his death. (Snip) Far fewer staff were dedicated to the coverage on other channels, with nine people including a presenter, correspondents and camera operator from ITV sent out to South Africa. A spokeswoman for the BBC said: “Over a ten-day period we expect to have deployed around 120 journalists, technicians and support
President Obama shook hands with Cuban President Raul Castro today, an unprecedented gesture of friendship which occurred, fittingly, at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela. [Snip] Obama greeted a long line of world leaders and heads of state attending the memorial service in Johannesburg after flying to South Africa with a U.S. delegation which included former presidents Bill Clinton, George W Bush and Jimmy Carter along with their families. Obama also shook hands with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, who has clashed with the U.S. President over alleged National Security Agency spying. He was later spotted in the VIP stands posing
Barack Obama today paid an emotional tribute to Nelson Mandela, calling the South African leader a ´giant of history´ as he spoke at a memorial service in a stadium where around a third of the seats were mysteriously left empty. The U.S. President, who moments earlier had shaken hands with Cuba´s Raul Castro in a historic moment of reconciliation, receivied a rapturous reception for his eulogy at the service in Johannesburg´s FNB Stadium, which started an hour late in the pouring rain. Cyril Ramaphosa, the deputy president of the ruling ANC party who opened the proceedings, said: ´In our tradition,
To those of you who may be alarmed by the notion that the US security services, helped by their obliging colleagues at GCHQ, might have access to all your internet activity--private emails included--Sir Malcolm Rifkind offers soothing reassurance. [Snip] Responding to the fact that a very impressive group of US web companies and internet providers has sent a letter to President Obama expressing concern at this wholesale hoovering up of the internet activityof ordinary citizens, Sir Malcolm observes that the signatories "have not concluded that what is happening…is necessarily unlawful." No, indeed they haven´t--because that is precisely the question at
As we grieve the loss of Madiba let us console ourselves with the happy thought that still living among us is an African-born hero whose saintliness, courage and high principle remain an example to us all. I refer, of course, to Peter Hain MP. Yesterday in Parliament, Hain let MPs into the little-known secret of his personal friendship with Mandela, which he had only previously disclosed in the dozen or so books he had written on the subject (including Mandela and Me; Mandela, My Part In His Victory; Mandela: He Owed Me Everything; Botha: My Part In His Downfall; Apartheid--I
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
US President Barack Obama may have moved the masses attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his stirring eulogy, but it was his grinning "selfie" with the Danish and British premiers that set social networks abuzz. In a candid moment captured by a photographer, Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt can be seen holding up her smartphone, with Obama lending a helping hand, as they pose for a picture with David Cameron, all three of them smiling broadly in their seats at Soweto’s World Cup stadium.(Snip)Mashable, the news and technology website, ran the photograph under the headline: ‘‘Dear Obama: Funerals are no place
On his way to the podium at the memorial ceremony for former South African president Nelson Mandela, President Obama walked down the line of dignitaries, greeting other leaders there to pay their respects. Among the hands shaken: that of Cuban leader Raul Castro. Obama neither made a special effort to shake Castro’s hand nor to avoid him. A snub might have been awkward: In his speech, Obama praised Mandela’s “greatest gift” as “his recognition that we are all bound together in ways that can be invisible to the eye; that there is a oneness to humanity; that we achieve ourselves by
The Obama State Department has finally released a second round of photos revealing the harrowing devastation wrought by a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012. The new photographs depict rampant damage to the consulate. They show charred walls, smoldering fires, Arabic graffiti defacing exterior walls, and scattered debris throughout. The extent of the damage would lead any reasonably serious person to conclude that this was a cold, calculated attack, carefully coordinated to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Unfortunately for the American people, the Obama-Clinton-Rice cabal that led to the Benghazi cover-up was
A black fashion student says he was brutally attacked by a gang of Hasidic men who shouted anti-gay slurs at him while he was walking through Williamsburg after a night of partying, the Daily News has learned. Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, f----t!”
A “presidential selfie” featuring President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service began making the rounds this morning, but it’s the person not included in the frame who caught everyone’s attention: As anyone with two eyes and a Twitter account has noticed, Michelle Obama does not appear amused. Of course, though a picture says a thousand words, not all of those words are necessarily true. FLOTUS might not have even known the photo was taking place. Or she could disapprove of funeral selfies. Either way.
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
Barack Obama has arrived in South Africa to lead the American delegation at a memorial service for former South African President Nelson Mandela in Johannesburg. But his party is reportedly stuck in traffic and he is said to have arrived late at the stadium for the ceremony. [Snip] But Mr Clinton, Mr Carter and his wife Rosalynn have all traveled separately to the event. According to reports, Mr Obama and his delegation are stuck in a lines of traffic caused by tens of thousands of people making their way to the event. Mr Obama is among the foreign leaders who
President Obama’s job approval among American voters has dropped to negative territory with just 38 percent voicing their approval versus the 58 who says they disapprove, according to a national poll released Tuesday by the independent Quinnipiac University. That is one percent less than the 39% who said they approved of him in last month’s poll. The majority of the 2,692 registered voters the University in early December said that the president is not honest and trustworthy. When asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the way Barack Obama is handling his job as President?,” respondents gave Obama lackluster ratings
The sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela´s memorial yesterday "made up his own signs," according to South Africa´s deaf federation. "He´s a complete fraud," Cara Loening, director of Sign Language Education and Development in Cape Town, said according to ITV News. "He wasn´t even doing anything, There was not one sign there. Nothing. He was literally flapping his arms around." Delphin Hlungwane, an official South African sign language interpreter at DeafSA, told Reuters:
All three networks on Monday morning highlighted the appearance of the Obamas at the Kennedy Center Honors, but only ABC fawned over "fashion win" of First Lady. Lara Spencer enthused that " one of the stars of the show was Michelle Obama." An excited Spencer explained that Mrs. Obama looked "absolutely ravishing in a flowing teal gown as she accompanied President Obama." The co-host declared, "Another big fashion win for the First Lady. CBS This Morning offered a full report on the various performers who were honored, but co-anchor Charlie Rose avoided ABC´s superlatives.
