Obama to give speech 50
years after ´I Have a Dream´

The Hill (Washington DC), by Mario Trujillo

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 8/7/2013 8:43:45 PM

President Obama is slated to deliver a speech later this month commemorating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington in which Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Obama will deliver his speech from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial — the same place where King spoke 50 years ago. The Let Freedom Ring ceremony will be held Aug. 28. "It’s obviously a historic, seminal event in the country. It’s part of my generation’s formative memory and it’s a good time for us to do some reflection,"

“I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest speech in the history of our nation.
“Today, according to Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, we must face the tragic fact that all of us are still not free. Despite food, welfare, rent, medical, employment, and education benefits, America, in my opinion, has given its undereducated people with attitude a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds” and it is my duty to redistribute the wealth until all people and cities resemble Detroit.
“There is something that I must say to my people - let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for things we haven’t earned by drinking from the cups of hard work and gratitude but instead let us continue with bitterness and devisiveness as so brilliantly advanced by my mentors, the Revs. mentioned above.
“There are those who are asking, "When will you be satisfied?" No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until America is transformed into the vision of Bill Ayres and Saul Alinsky.
“I have a dream. I dream of a future when my slim daughters (thanks to my wife’s hip-hop initiative) will be able to bring their experience and knowledge to a transformed America – an America where the nation’s children can sing, “Obama, Obama, mmm, mmmm, mmm,” with new meaning and utmost adulation.

“Yes, I have a dream, and I am it.”

Obama will use speech to stir racial hatred by noting the large economic gap between the rich, shorthand for whites, and poor blacks. He will NOT explain why he has expanded this gap as president. Obama will also describe what he is doing to stop racism, from challenging voter ID laws to improving schools. He will NOT mention that the crowd gathered before him had to show photo IDs when passing through the metal detectors. Nor will he mention that he is opposed to school choice because he is beholden to the public teachers union.

Obama will viciously attack the Republican House for threatening to defund ObamaCare, for threatening poor blacks with cuts in welfare and food stamps, for not wanting to help Detroit and for wanting to shut down the federal government which is helping blacks & illegals achieve the American dream.

Finally, a person with a white mother and a Kenyan Marxist father, who was adopted by an Indonesian stepfather and then raised by his white grandparents in Hawaii, will tell a mostly black crowd how he shared the same experiences of the Deep South as their families. The crowd will be brought to tears, especially when he describes how his exclusive private school in Honolulu detested Selma´s police chief, Bull Connors, a Democrat.

Regardless, you know he´s not going to have a crowd anywhere close to the size of the one in front of MLK for that speech. I can already see the next day´s newspapers for those not in the tank for Obama with a side-by-side comparison of the crowds.

WASHINGTON— A Western official says the United States is considering deploying about 150 soldiers for military exercises to begin in Poland and Estonia in the next few weeks. Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
