´Immigrants will be the job creators

Zuckerberg goes public with
backing of immigration reform

Daily Mail [UK], by Associated Press & Daily Mail Reporters

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg spoke out publicly for the first time on Monday in favor of immigration reform, an issue he´s been working on behind the scenes for several months. [Snip] Wearing his trademark hoodie and sneakers, Zuckerberg disputed the notion that he and other Silicon Valley leaders are just trying to secure more H1B visas for high-tech workers. Zuckerberg and his former Harvard University roommate Joe Green recently founded the organization Fwd.us to advocate for a pathway to citizenship for nearly 11 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally. But Monday was the first time Zuckerberg spoke

Comments:
1. Zuckerberg is working actively in support of raising unemployment and lowering wages for tech workers.

2. He is also working actively in support of illegal immigrants.

If you use Facebook you are not only providing income for this person to follow his extremely liberal agenda, you are speeding the destruction of our country.

We´ve had close to 11 million of them for years now so our economy should be booming . California should be a jobs mecca.

Yuckerberg is just another liberal punk.

Liberal punks like him put this issue in their rainbow and unicorns world and pretend like it´s immigration from back in the early 1900´s. It´s not.

Most of these "immigrants" are uneducated, low skilled and often criminals.

Contrary to the punks wish-upon-a-star view, these immigrants will be a burden not a boon.

What proof is there that we don´t have enough native born "high skilled" workers for U.S. jobs? Zuckerberg wants corporate welfare to pay for his workers so he does not have to pay Americans. He makes billions but does not want to pay American workers a fair wage. Where I live HB1 workers are driving down the wages of citizens.

As it always has been on immigration, this is a devils alliance between the H1B businessmen and the La Raza open boarders folks.

We should not listen to impossibly rich folks like Zuckerberg and Buffet. They have enough money to be completely removed from the effects of what they are promoting. In a pinch, they buy an island, stock it and move there and leave the chaos to us peons.

The ruling elite and opinionated rich folks on the Left have an axiom regarding public policy:
´´It´s for thee, not for me.´´

The high-tech foreign workers that Zuckerman and others in those advanced electronic industries are talking about will be only a small percentage of the 46 million or so foreign workers, and their foreign family members, who would either legalize or be allowed into the USA in the next ten years with complete access to the legal US job market. The vast majority of the foreign workers would be poor generally uneducated and unskilled and would be of no interest to the high-tech industries.

Such a massive in-sourcing of foreign workers entering the legal US job market where they would be eligible to compete against American workers for just about every job out there across the US economy is bound to have a big adverse effect on the future job prospects, wages, work related benefits, and the working conditions of a huge number of American workers. If the proposal becomes law, there is also bound to be a big political blow back from adversely affected American workers.

The Democrats stand to gain a huge electoral advantage in the future, as there is no doubt that the Democrats along with their media and union allies will be blaming the Republicans for demanding that such a huge amount of cheap foreign labor be in-sourced into the country in return for their support of the proposal, along with the fact that the Democrats will eventually register the vast majority of those foreign workers as new Democrat voters in the coming years.

Facebook does employ over 3,000 workers. Their competitive advantage is their name recognition and their number of connects. Ultimately they will be down to competing on cost to serve and they´d love a greater supply of workers with lower wage expectations to drive down cost.

Zuckerberg is the business lottery winner, the recipient of the fickle public´s attention.

Let´s be honest. The user interface of Facebook sucks, it isn´t intuitive, and it appeals to the slacker that doesn´t work and likes to play Farmville all day and add pictures of their goofy kids.

I have no problem with the free market aspect of it. But let´s not pretend that Zuckerberg is any innovator or has an opinion on immigration with any more brain-matter behind it than a 15 year old´s.

We don´t need more immigrants.

We need a new president who understands that business, especially present American small business owners, is the middle-class job creating mechanism in the USA.

Obama never ran a lemonade stand and yet the media lets him play Obamanomics with our economy?

That´s like taking a baseball fan out of the stands at a MLB game and telling him that he´s today´s starting pitcher.

It´s madness right before our eyes ... all due to liberal ideology that is totally clueless.

Ed Miliband says he wants to be Britain’s “first Jewish PM”. He apparently has no ambitions to be its most historically informed. But Ed Miliband doesn’t even believe in God and describes himself as a “Jewish atheist”--so we’re talking about ethnic identity here, not religion. And Disraeli was keenly aware of his ethnicity, calling himself "the blank page between the Old Testament and the New".
