Breitbart Big Journalism, by John Nolte    Original Article

Friday, the venerable New York Times Magazine published a mammoth 5500-plus word profile of Hillary Clinton and the world around her. It is titled "Planet Hillary," and two words you will not find on this mammoth planet are "Libya" and "Benghazi." The Times´ exhaustive look at Hillary -- her past, present, future, and those around her -- just didn´t have the room to mention the four Americans left dead in Benghazi because Secretary of State Hillary Clinton´s State Department failed to protect them despite more flags than you´ll see flying in the Kremlin. Well, as the saying goes, "What difference at this point does it make?"

The federal court system was hit with a denial-of-service attack Friday afternoon that brought several government Web sites to a halt. PACER — the site for accessing the electronic court filing database — as well as uscourts.gov and various other Web sites belonging to federal courts around the country, were affected by the hack, officials said. Among the downed sites was that of the Middle District of Florida, which was unavailable for about four hours. PACER administrators posted a service advisory warning that some visitors may have trouble accessing the service.

Democratic campaign operatives have been getting worried that the White House wasn’t doing enough to help them in the midterms, and that President Barack Obama didn’t care enough to change that. Friday, Obama provided the answer: David Simas, a longtime aide who returned to the White House after running polling and focus groups for the re-election campaign, was named director of a new Office of Political Strategy and Outreach. (Snip) Repeatedly, in public and private, Obama has been calling the November elections a top priority. He knows what’s at stake: Democrats losing the Senate would mean a daily barrage

The New York Times Magazine for this Sunday depicts former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as a bizarre-looking planet, inspiring quite a range of reactions. The cover accompanies the story “Planet Hillary” by Amy Chozick, a look at the potential 2016 Democratic presidential front-runner. Clinton, who left her post at the State Department last year, has not confirmed that she will be revving up her second presidential campaign, though that hasn’t stopped supporters from raising funds and preparing for the campaign. The magazine’s design director, Arem Duplessis, said in a blog post that the idea to turn Clinton into a disembodied

Patrick Festa says that after President Barack Obama left his Scranton, Pennsylvania, home following a November 2011 visit, things got “a little creepy.” Friends and neighbors flocked to the house to pose for pictures in the dining room chair where Obama sat for lunch before giving a speech urging a payroll tax-cut extension. Festa and his wife, Donna, kept the president’s used teacup and napkin in the same spot for “too long.” Today, the thrill of that presidential visit has faded amid the financial strains that Festa, 51, a third-grade teacher, says have intensified over the last two years.

As President Obama prepares for his State of the Union speech Tuesday night, he has solicited members of his Cabinet for ideas of executive actions he could take without Congressional approval that would further his goal of tackling income inequality. In the first weeks of January, Obama has repeatedly said he he has a “pen and his phone” and will use them to bypass Congressional gridlock and help his agenda. While White House spokesman Jay Carney said he didn´t want to preview the president´s speech, he said no one should be surprised that he´s going to “reemphasize his capacity” as

The plan, laid out in an email from a top editor at North Carolina-based Civitas Media, could be similar to a controversial project a New York state newspaper carried out in 2012 which included an online map that identified gun owners in two counties by name and address. Civitas´ database project was detailed the plan in a Jan. 19 e-mail to newsrooms in 11 states, including Ohio, Illinois and Pennsylvania. The newest project

If there is anything New York doesn´t need it´s more reasons for Empire State residents to flee. Over the last decade (2001-11) New York´s population fell by 1.6 million. Many disgruntled New Yorkers said enough, packed up and left the state. This was a larger population drain than suffered by any other state. Congratulations. That´s why Democratic Gov. In politics, lying is the new sex. Even the lesser sin, exaggeration, is grounds for questions about your suitability to run for office. Americans may be becoming more like the French in tolerating peccadilloes (just ask Rep. Mark Sanford of South Carolina or Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana about surviving a sex scandal), but get a detail wrong about whether you divorced at 21 or at 19, and woe unto you. That’s what happened to Wendy Davis over the weekend. You may know her as the Texas state senator in pink sneakers who delivered an 11-hour filibuster against abortion restrictions in June.

The Pentagon on Wednesday is expected to announce widespread changes to rules governing religious items and religion-based physical attributes that service members can maintain while in uniform — including beards, some religious tattoos, and turbans. NBC News obtained an early draft of the new Department of Defense instruction which states that the military will make every effort to accommodate “individual expressions of sincerely held beliefs” (conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs) of service members. It goes on to say that unless doing so could have an adverse impact on military readiness, unit cohesion, good order and discipline, health and safety,

What’s so great about Zulu? To answer that question properly, you need to pass this test first. 1) Do you know Men of Harlech off by heart? 2) Can you name at least half of the 11 Victoria Cross winners in the film (by their nicknames where possible) without resorting to Google? 3) Have you ever found yourself stirred to ridiculous feelings of patriotism by John Barry’s magnificent film score on the morning commute? I really hope someone else answers “yes” to all three, otherwise you can chalk me up as a lone madman. Zulu--released 50 years ago this week--is
