President Obama to speak at
Phoenix high school on Tuesday

Arizona Republic, by Rebekah L.Sanders

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 8/3/2013 2:04:36 PM

President Obama will travel to Desert Vista High School in Phoenix next week to highlight housing and the middle class. The speech, scheduled for Tuesday morning, would be the latest in a series of talks on the progress made and the challenges that remain as the U.S. slowly recovers from a recession. It revisits themes that Obama spoke about during his first presidential visit to Arizona in February.(snip)Obama has delivered campaign-style speeches in the past two weeks on investing in infrastructure, lowering the cost of college loans and overhauling the tax code

Kids of this age probably have little ot o concept of what the middle class means. His goal here is simply to find a doofus audience and get soundbites o the evening news.

This pitch by Obama ranks right up there with his top underhanded ploys. His real goal is to destroy the middle class but he has to use them because voters won´t back stimulus for so called poor people.

Other than maybe tech companies and new restaurants, employers aren´t going to hire while Obama´s president,it´s really that simple and he can´t pass any laws forcing them to. Obama is checkmated on job creation because he spoiled the soup with his idiotic anti-job policies.

We just saw ow many billions are being wasted in Hawaii on a stupid high rail project,Obama loves to push as a jobs creator. It´s nothing but a union enrichment scheme and crooked liberal middle men/suppliers ripping the tax payers off.

People don´t understand that government financed projects have to use union labor because of the outdated Bacon/davis act,so small employers don´t get a dime.

However there was an early 1950´s law that said 30% of government infrastructure has to go to small business. Obama has ignored this and listed Bechtel as a small business on a compliance form. They simply blamed the "error" on a data entry person.

Republicans should be trying to revoke bacon/davis and give contracts to the lowest bidder, not the highest ones.

For decades, rapid economic growth has been the norm for developed countries. An educated workforce, a large population boom, major technological advances, and abundant fossil fuels were the key components of growth, generating substantial and broadly distributed increases in standards of living in many countries. We have grown so used to such growth that we inevitably view it as a panacea for a host of economic ills, whether it´s a deep recession or income inequality. We now understand, however, that the postwar growth paradigm is not environmentally sustainable. We also know that the shared prosperity it once delivered is itself
