Did White House Have
Something To Do With
Chattanooga Editor´s Firing?

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Original Article

Posted By:PageTurner, 8/3/2013 7:58:47 AM

Media: A Tennessee newspaper fired an editor over a hard-hitting editorial denouncing President Obama´s jobs plan on the very day the president came to town to tout it. This has the odor of White House revanchism. The Chattanooga Times Free Press insists that its firing of Drew Johnson for the title of his editorial, "Take Your Jobs Plan And Shove It, Mr. President," was unrelated to content, and merely a case of an insubordinate editor changing his headline to a riff on a song by Nashville singer Johnny PayCheck over another headline. Frankly, it´s hard to believe.

Comments:
Sounds like a conspiracy theory until you look at the White House record.

The circulation manager sent me an email asking me to think it over for a few days before cancelling. Told him no. They also have a cartoonist, Clay Bennett, whose cartoons regularly consist of personal attacks against people or groups he disagrees with. No real issues....just name-calling. KANO, Nigeria – A child bride forced into marriage in Nigeria killed a groom and three of his friends with a poisoned meal, police said Thursday. Fourteen-year-old Wasila Umaru was married last week to 35-year-old Umaru Sani, according to assistant superintendent Musa Magaji Majia. Over the weekend, the groom invited a dozen friends to celebrate at his Ungwar Yansoro village, about 60 miles from the northern city of Kano. The teenager told police she bought rat poison at a village market and used it to prepare a dish of rice. "The suspect confessed to committing the crime and said she did it because she

Big Government: As students flood Twitter with images of inedible slop, it´s clear that Michelle Obama´s government school lunch revamp is a costly failure. It´s time to get the feds out of kids´ lunch boxes. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact.
