Happy 25th to Rush Limbaugh,
Greatest Conservative Since Reagan

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Ben Shapiro

Original Article

Thursday marked Rush Limbaugh’s 25th anniversary on the air. To label Limbaugh a radio talk show host dramatically underestimates his impact on the political debate, media, and American culture. Limbaugh is truly a transformative figure. When Limbaugh entered the world of talk radio, the AM dial was essentially moribund. He turned it into a weapon for conservatism, and in the process, led the revolution that has ended in the disintegration of the old media monopoly. Limbaugh can rightly be said to be the greatest populist expositor of conservatism in America since Reagan, and the link between the Reagan generation and

Love ya Rush, been listening since Oct. 1992 and have learned soooo much to augment my innate conservatism. I hope you live forever, if only to annoy the left

Whenever I hear him say, "Having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have", I think the libs certainly would like to see him punished for it.

Congratulations to Rush ! I have listened since the beginning and have told many others about him and his show. His humor, intelligence and wit are amazing. He has had his demons too , and fought them and won. We are lucky beyond words to have him in our midst. A man for the times is our mighty Maha Rushie.

Rush, I love you. I remember those dark days prior to the internet when I would sit in my parked car during my lunch hour listening to you on my car radio. I was longing to hear the truth spoken anywhere and you were IT! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have advanced the cause of freedom and liberty in America, and therefore the world, and in spite of our current status, we will prevail, in no small part because of you. Again, thank you.

But:

1. He´s preaching to the choir everyday. Those that need to listen to him do not
2. He and the other conservative hosts were unable to have any impact on electing and then RE electing the worst qualified man to be president.
3. Criticism of liberal policy is not in short supply at the EIB HQ, but solutions are.
4. I fear the same outcome in 2016..another DEM president, and there´s nothing Rush can do to stop it.

just my 2 cents....

I´m not sure what more Rush can do. He advocates unapologetic conservatism, and always has. Republicans at state and local levels who listen to him win. National Republicans have their own ideas. They lose. The RNC and the reach across the aisle squishes (including those "compassionate conseratives") gave us Obama, and continue to enable him. Not Rush.

The Obama administration must release internal legal documents justifying the targeted killings worldwide of Americans and foreigners suspected of terrorism, a federal appeals court ruled Monday. The decision in a case brought by The New York Times, two of its reporters and the American Civil Liberties Union likely will shed new light on the administration’s use of drones to target terrorists abroad. That program has resulted in the deaths of American citizens, such as leading al Qaeda figure Anwar al-Awlaki, killed by a drone strike in Yemen in 2011. Administration officials had sought to keep internal memorandums regarding the killings

For the long-term unemployed, finding a job is hard — but keeping one may be even harder. New research tracking people who have been out of work for six months or longer found that 23 percent of them landed a job within a few months of the study. But a year later, more than a third of that group was unemployed again or out of the labor force altogether. The findings are the latest in a bleak but growing body of literature suggesting long-term unemployment has become a trap that is difficult to escape. Economists say that means the long-term unemployed could become a permanent underclass, left behind by the nation’s broader

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on
