Dem Lawmakers: Tighter Border Security
Means More Illegal Immigrant Deaths

PJ Media, by Nicholas Ballasy

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 7/27/2013 11:26:47 AM

Texas Democratic Congressmen Rubén Hinojosa and Beto O’Rourke are pushing back against efforts to further secure the U.S.-Mexico border, arguing that more migrants would die while illegally crossing the border into America. “They come here to work hard and they come here to be reunited with their families. The sad truth is that many do not make it to accomplish any of those joyful things that I just described. Many of them lose their lives in the dry cactus and mesquite-filled lands of south Texas where I come from, the area that I represent,”

Comments:
This illustrates more brilliant logic coming from a Democrat. s/o McCain is probably sorry he didn´t come up with this lame comment. It is criminal that the border is controlled by drug cartels and gangs. They should all be fired for not honoring their oaths of office and failing to protect this country from enemies.

phew! takes your breath away.

So, the solution must be to have Acela trains speeding north from Mexico? or cooling stations throughout the desert with free taxis waiting? or fill 747s south of the border and deliver to passengers´ desired locations?

Ridiculous, true, but maybe not so much as to be impossible, judging by this article.

Using their logic we should tear down the fence we just put up. Why don´t we just pave a road for them to use? Democrats will block any real effort to enforce the border. Democrats are for open borders and for hordes of uneducated, illiterate, unskilled, sickly illegal immigrates who will become future Democrats and entitled to everything - food stamps, healthcare, housing, cell phones etc.

When the word gets out that you really can´t get in they will stop coming.

50 cal elevated gun turrets every half mile will do it.

Guarding the borders is one of the very few actual, legitimate functions of the feral goober-stazi.

Liberals always prefer to devote their energies to projects which are both impossible and unnecessary.

If you didn´t think democrats were insane before this should do it. If it was much harder to cross the border illegally less people would try it and there would be fewer deaths. I have always found it disgusting that democrats encourage this behavior however I´m certainly not surprised. Look at the death and destruction in Chicago that seems to be fine with democrats. They really are the evil party.

Geesh! Might as well start calling this country the United States of Mexico! Those poor Mexicans who can´t get here to be with their families. How about THEY made the decision to split up their family. We didn´t drag them here. Also, once a Mexican comes here, we make him legal, THEN he brings his entire extended family here as well. Mexico´s economy is booming now. They need to stay there and support their country. We don´t have enough jobs for OUR workers because Mexicans are taking, especially in construction. No..I don´t feel sorry for them at all and YES, we do need to secure the border, NOW!

Just a conspiracy theory?? .... From Wiki

The North American Union (NAU) is a theoretical economic and political union of Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The concept is loosely based on the European Union, occasionally including a common currency called the Amero or the North American Dollar. A union of the North American continent, sometimes extending to Central and South America, has been the subject of academic concepts for over a century, as well as becoming a common trope in science fiction. One reason for the difficulty in realizing the concept is that individual developments in each region have failed to prioritize a larger union.

Do these Dims even know of or care about how the gov´t of Mexico deals with their own illegal alien problems concerning would-be immigrants from Central America? It´s NOT in a "humanitarian" way!

AND even though Mexico´s economy is improving, they still want those $$$ flowing back to the so-called families left behind.

My conclusion, after lo these many years, is that the cartels, in collusion with the Mexican Gov´t control our common border.

While those congressmen who represent districts along the borderline know a lot of what is happening there, they also have a big-time conflict of interest in allowing the current out of control borderline to remain the same, as a big percentage of their constituents are involved and make money both directly and indirectly from the massive amount of contraband and people smuggling that goes on at the borderline.

The only way that the liberal Democrats will go along with even a little bit more enforcement along the borderline, is if the wimpy Republicans cave, and pass their amnesty and special path to citizenship bill that would either legalize or allow an estimated 46 million foreign workers and their foreign family members into the USA in the next ten years, with complete access to the legal US job market. If that bill does pass, the borderline as far as people smuggling is concerned would become largely irrelevant as just about any Mexican who wants to come here to work would be given a visa and would be able to legally enter the USA with his or her family.

The Democrats want to grant all those aliens US citizenship so that they can vote. Once that happens it would become politically impossible for the USA to administer or maintain any sort of effective border controls along the current borderline. You can see that by the way those two border rat congressman talked.

Researchers at Princeton and Northwestern universities have pored over 1,800 US policies and concluded that America is an oligarchy. But the government is not the only American power whose motivations need to be rigourously examined. Some 2,400 miles away from Washington, in Silicon Valley, Google is aggressively gaining power with little to keep it in check. But the French aristocrat and American think tanker have the measure of the federal behemoth in the age of Obama. For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
