Obama’s doomed attempt
to save his legacy

Washington Times, by Emily Miller

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 7/26/2013 11:45:55 PM

President Obama’s approval ratings are falling faster than skydiver Felix Baumgartner during his record-setting jump from outer space. In a desperate move to salvage his second term, Mr. Obama threw out his top liberal agenda items — immigration, gun control and race relations — and pivoted to the economy. The problem is that the only one to blame for the five-year malaise is the current resident of the Oval Office. The president fueled up Air Force One on Wednesday to fly to the heartland for two stops in an attempt to physically distance himself from Washington.

This man´s legacy will not be good; his policies have destroyed our economy; he has divided our country, completely destroyed our dollar with his massive printing and ruined our healthcare.

He´s right on track to have his legacy. The destruction of the United States and completing the road to a third world country. And no one has the will or fight to stop it.

Legacy? He´s an affirmative action hire who had neither the experience nor the maturity to hold his current position. He has, by his words and deeds, destroyed the economic underpinnings of this Country. He has driven a wedge into the racial comity of our Country and by his actions set back race relations a 100 years. He has turned our once proud and strong Military into a laboratory for homosexual "feel goods" and "girly man" fell betters. Oh, and some say he´s black.....

Obama´s number one con was his ability to speak fluent english as a black person. This projected him as being well-bred and educated.A black democrat with an urban dialect would never even get past the primaries because people categorize them.

There´s not an ounce of difference between Obama and Jesse Jackson´s belief system but Obama painted over that with his speaking skill, whether it was all hot air or not.

It didn´t hurt Obama to have a billion plus dollar machine behind him, there was no way McCain could raise that kind of money. The FEC is so screwed up and bureaucratic,it takes them years to figure out illegal donations and you can bet Obama had thousands of straw donors who where given money by the fatcats to donate. I remember a story about a NY dishwasher who donated $2400 to Obama.

Then you had ACORN working Obama´s ground game. Supposedly obama got 10 million "new" black voters over Kerry. The fake registrations were to bloat the figures to mask illegal votes. If they didn´t bloat the registrations, you would have seen 120% turnout in some areas.

I don´t believe he is trying to "save his legacy" except to create a new one: The first and last American Dictator.

When he obfuscates and outright lies about how he is trying to "get the economy back on track" and about how the scandals are "phony", he isn´t trying to right his ship of State; he is clandestinely trying to sink it.

We here at Lucianne saw all of this clearly back in late 2007. It just amazes me how many willfully blind people there are in this once great nation. I weep for my daughter and my yet to be born grandchildren.

Actually, I like #8´s typo - it sort of translates to The Way with God. Go with God would be vaya con Dios.

#2 is correct - - Zippy is not failing - - he´s succeeding.

His goal is to destroy the United States as a free country - - one with free citizens, free markets, and a constitutional rule of law. He´s not succeeding as well as he would like to - - or as well as he expected to - - but he has made giant strides.

Meanwhile his "opposition" - - the ever-feckless Pubbie party - - is beside itself trying to think of ways to finance the destruction.

His legacy? Who exactly will write it? Probably someone like Rachel Jeantel - - who will be more typical of the future U.S. citizenry than any of us are.

Curse his legacy all you want to - - but it won´t be written in cursive.

The phenomenon called 0bama is actually a manifestation of the lust for other people´s money. He is the political symbol. He may go away (God I pray for the day), his ratings may go to single digits but the addiction of 47% parasites is here to stay. Watch for the Beast slowly slithering in to occupy the position.

Look, Obie could care less what we consider is his legacy. He made his agenda clear from the get go and is buildng it piece by piece. This 100-year march to socialism will continue whether Obie fulfills his world government vision or not. Can we stop and even reverse this march to the cliff? You betcha, we just have to want to, and erase once and for all this little clique of lefties trying to re-mld who we are and what we stand for.

#11, Uno, you nailed it! I was especially impressed with the last paragraph because that is indeed the reason BHO resides at 1900 Pennsylvania Avenue. My question is: Is it too late to turn this mess around or are we, our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren doomed to live a life our great grandparents could never have imagined for us? The American spirit in me says no, but I am afraid too many of us have had that spirit crushed and feel no kinship with those who are willing to do whatever it takes to get us back on the right track. Many leaders in our very own party have decided to take the path of least resistance. It will take an act of repentence to bring about divine intervention to change what ails this country. II Chronicles 7:14.

We cannot watch him. But clips from his speech were rebroadcast, seemingly endlessly. The setting was grotesque. All those American flags with him are just plain wrong. They mean nothing to him and are just stage-dressing, props. Apropos of nothing, I was trying to figure out how that grossly fat woman in the black dress was plunked front and almost center behind him - how did Mooch let that happen? Then there was his desperate, shrill demeanor. The hostile, angry eyes. The sneering tone. The jabbing fingers. He looked maniacal. And calling his present scandals phony was the last despicable straw.

Yes, he did himself more damage in Knox.

This seriously-flawed kenyan boy began life by being an unwanted child who was forced to listen to poisoned idealism from a drunken father and a worse uncle who also could have been his father. It gradually turned him into a hating, socialist victim of all things Western and civilized. The indoctrination worked on him so why isn´t it working on the American people? We were all supposed to grovel at his feet and hang on his every word, much like the MSM does.

His modus operandi is repetition of the same failed ideology until the audience either becomes hypnotized and believes him or they get so sick of his stupidity that they tune him out. His warped little mind would be a psychiatrist´s playground.

I heard this same kind of talk about Castro and Che Guevara for a lot of years until I turned my back on those who are whistling past the graveyard.

1. Castro still in power, still revered, still a Sloppy Wet Kiss fav of progressives throughout America

2. Che graduated from mass murderer, pedophile, rapist to the world´s #1 t-shirt salesman

3. Ho Chi Minh lauded just this week by our own Executive

I don´t think it is anything that rational. The rational part, although corrupt and weak, comes from his handlers. I think it is something much more pathological. He does not have goals in the normal sense. Everything is about him and achieving his personal desires; feeding his ego. He is not a planner. He does not think ahead. He is not goal oriented. Look at his history. Present was his answer to just about everything. There is no planning in that. He is a con man. Look at his law review editor experience. He has never built anything; not as editor of the law review, not as a community organizer, not as state senator. He had no clear goals of why or what he would do as president. His history is one of cheating his way to achieve personal goals. To suggest he is trying to save his legacy is to suggest he is more than an empty suit, which most here have agreed that is all he is. He has not changed his character.

#35, your comment would be true but for one thing. Nobody laughs at Castro and Che or HCM like they do Obama. Internationally, Obama is nothing more than an ineffectual, lying laughingstock as leaders wait, along with us, for the end of his current term.

Laughingstocks are not usually made into icons. Unless he does something extreme and radical in the next couple of years to change that image, he will continue to be so. That is his legacy. It will be interesting to see if he can command the million dollar speech fees that Clinton is getting.

Except for the starry eyed that actually voted this man into office, most who had more than two brain cells rolling around in their heads knew at the time that the man was totally unqualified for this job. And he has actually validated that view every day he gets out of bed. To say we could have done better is obvious,. as we certainly could not have done worse.

The question is not when will Barak Hussein Obama eventually step down and call it quits . It will be when will the House IRS investigative commitee get to the top and finger Barry. They are starting at the bottom IRS echelon and working their way up. Nail them at the top and call the underlings to cough up the details under oath. Democrats cannot blame Bush neither can they blame the Republicans they are boxed in and this will decide the outcome of the up and coming election.Scandals, how dare this occupant of the WH denigrate the memory of the fallen heroes at Benghazi The four cried out for help ,Obama . Clinton. Panetta. The Chief of Joint Chiefs et al refused to HELP.Benghazi is much worse than a comedy of errors and its unbievable that nothing has been done to find out where was the Commander in Chief evening of 9/11. It´s getting on for one year ago and still no response , it´s one of the biggest scandals . I´ve completely lost faith in the American electorate. The lofos, the touchy-feelies and the democratic pseudo intellectuals all deserve scorn, but my most damning contempt is reserved for those who sat on their asses during the last election and let this anathema be returned to office.

He might even get another NOBEL prize for the front showcase by the time he retires.

He is the foreign usurper used to to destroy the greatest free nation in history.

I´ll say this once again: They are ahead of schedule and under budget to do what they´ve been working on for a century or more. The creatures who started this toboggan ride to hell are themselves long dead; they knew they´d never see the "fruit " of their efforts. But their fellow travellers are getting very close now.

I personally believe that the Lord God is about to judge this nation. Fifty-five million dead through the secular sacrament of abortion has not gone unoticed by Him; their innocent blood reaches His throne. I also suspect that Barry Oblahblah is a part of His judgment.

When we have removed standards from our society, we have no standards as our standard. Take a good look at the yahoos who are running this country and those who want to get on that gravy train...NO STANDARDS!

For all of those crediting ZIPPY with the destruction of America.... do you really believe this stammering, bumbling [oh, excuse me, "articulate" buffoon] could have gotten near a position of power in the sane country of 50 or even 30 years ago? His very essence would have repulsed the people of that era. Today´s America is too-largely populated by an alarming number of ignorant, apathetic and greedy fools who have been greasing the skids for our downfall. Add to this a large majority of self-serving politicians lacking courage and statesmanship, and it should be obvious; the Kenyan is no more than a timely facilitator of our decline.

Some guilt should be assigned Lyndon Johnson for his "Great Society" and the 4 generations now on the dole, plus the 75% who are raised without fathers. I believe this applies just as much to poor of every color. His remark that this should keep the "niggers" quiet for 50 years, shows how people who think Johnson was a GREAT democrat really feel. I believe as Larry Elder and Ben Carson say--it should start in those communities first. Get everyone to work and make the mothers and fathers responsible for the children. Education and morality will help.

Long-term unemployed struggle

Washington Post, by Ylan Q. Mui    Original Article

For the long-term unemployed, finding a job is hard — but keeping one may be even harder. New research tracking people who have been out of work for six months or longer found that 23 percent of them landed a job within a few months of the study. But a year later, more than a third of that group was unemployed again or out of the labor force altogether. The findings are the latest in a bleak but growing body of literature suggesting long-term unemployment has become a trap that is difficult to escape. Economists say that means the long-term unemployed could become a permanent underclass, left behind by the nation’s broader

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Struggling homeowners across the country could face significant new tax bills if they receive mortgage relief from their banks, a prospect that threatens to slow the housing recovery and put further strain on distressed borrowers. The collapse of the housing market and plunging home prices left millions of people stuck owing more on their mortgages than their homes were worth. Some have worked with their banks to reduce the loan amount to avoid foreclosure or enable a sale. In 2007, Congress adopted a law that spared those homeowners from being taxed on the amount of the loan that was forgiven. But
