Scandal Watch: Senior DHS
Official and Top Obama
Nominee Under Investigation

Townhall, by Guy Benson

Original Article

Posted By:Emerson, 7/25/2013 6:42:25 AM

The US government´s Inspectors General have been mighty busy lately. Whereas the IRS, DOJ and Benghazi scandals can all be succinctly summarized in a sentence or two, this latest emerging story cannot -- which is why it may lack the legs to really blow up. Nevertheless, a newly-revealed investigation by the Department of Homeland Security´s Inspector General may cause some heartburn for the Obama administration, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and the Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Virginia. (Snip) President Obama´s pick to become the second-highest official at DHS -- and who would run the department

But wait...there´s more:

This isn´t Mr. Mayorkas´ first brush with political controversy. In the 1990´s he used his position as a US Attorney to lobby the Clinton White House to pardon a drug dealer, the father of whom was a major Democratic donor. The Obama nominee has since apologized for that "mistake," but if the current IG´s probe confirms DHS whistleblower allegations, it would appear that Mayorkas didn´t learn his lesson about influence peddling.

All it takes is big donations and the criminals are welcomed into this administration - and Clinton´s - with open arms.

When you have this level of scandals and corruption on a daily basis, your eyes begin to glaze over. I can´t figure this one out exactly, nor do want to burn up brain cells doing so. I know need a new scandal to tell me and Obama nominees or Terry Mccalif are career crooks and diabolical people.

If someone can name a squeaky clean Obama nominee, Id sure like to know about it. Only a corrupt person would agree to work for Obama. Government workers, many of whom are disgusted have no choice but the hang onto their jobs.

The Clintons lived off the government teat for so long that didn´t even have a credit history to buy a house with. Good ole McCallife co signed the home loan. Since then of course the whole Clinton clan has become filthy rich and plan to yoke more money out of suckers donating to his do nothing foundation.

Hillary got an $8 million advance on a book that will never sell enough to pay the investment back. The publisher has to be underwritten by another fat cat liberal looking for favors down the road.

The level of corruption in the Democrat Party and in the Obama WH is staggering. We have so many scandals now that it seems they may bog down the system (is that the plan?). Underlying it all, we know the scandals that are currently being investigated are only the tip of the iceberg. The daily corruption is like bacteria under a microscope.

That is the reason why the administration did all it could to destroy the IG system, but firing them and not replacing them for YEARS.

This is an extension of the Chicago way. IF nobody is around to enforce the law, does it matter what a law says.

Zippy learned the M.O. from the Klintoons - - just keep flooding the world with scandals until they overwhelm the senses - - then stonewall and stonewall and stonewall until they each become "old news" - - and then - -

- - and then repeat the cycle ad nauseam until no one has the stamina or the will to even look in their directions.

Works all the time - - especially when your "opposition" is the ever-feckless Pubbies.

Are these the same people who filled out obama´s long, probing questionaire in 2008 so they could become members of the most ethical administration since - well, since the last time it ever might have happened? Apparently the bad stuff they did counted toward their qualifications.

Most religious movies feel as if they’re made by a church committee, but every now and then a wild-eyed prophet wanders in and rattles the theater with brimstone. Regardless of your feelings about either movie, Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ” qualifies and so does Martin Scorsese’s “The Last Temptation of Christ.” Now director Darren Aronofsky (“Black Swan,” “The Wrestler”) has ascended to the mountaintop and returned with the strangest, most visionary cinematic parable yet. “Noah” is equal parts ridiculous and magnificent, a showman’s folly and a madman’s epic. Mexico City — Just before 7 a.m. on Saturday, dozens of soldiers and police officers descended on a condominium tower in Mazatlán, Mexico, a beach resort known as much as a hangout for drug traffickers as for its seafood and surf. The forces were following yet another tip about the whereabouts of one of the world’s most wanted drug kingpins, Joaquín Guzmán Loera — known as El Chapo, which means “Shorty” — who had eluded such raids for 13 years since escaping from prison, by many accounts in a laundry cart. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
