Hillaryizing Huma
American Thinker, by Thomas Lifson

Original Article

Money can´t buy the kind of political boost Huma Abedin is receiving. Like her mentor Hillary Clinton, the stand-by-your-man strategy will be her gateway to widespread popularity and respect. Don´t feel sorry for the Democrats over losing a former rising star politician like Anthony Weiner, whose future is so hopeless that even the New York Times says it´s time to go. They have gained an even more promising candidate for high office. Huma Abedin is better-looking, better spoken, and more appealing than her role model.(snip)Although raised in Saudi Arabia, Ms. Abedin was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, a natural born American.

Hillary was married to a sitting president. Huma is married to a pencil-necked geek whom no one cares about.

Hillary got an earful of what Bill was up to. Huma and the rest of us got an eyeful of Anthony´s private parts.

Huma looked like a fool standing up for that creep yesterday. I think most people will feel pity or contempt for her for staying with such a loser. My bet is that if he loses the election, news of the divorce will hit the internet within six months.

I find it very telling how liberal women defend time and time again Democratic men who act like pigs. Clinton, Weiner, Spitzer, Filner, Kennedys (plural), Dodd, and on and on. These so called feminists love the money, access, and power more than their NOW memberships.

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

Let’s get one thing straight: the savage mob attack on a white motorist in Detroit by a dozen or more black men on Wednesday was not a “vigilante style” attack. My first published column was in a local paper opposing the Equal Rights Amendment for the same reasons that Phyllis Schlafly, a conservative lawyer, campaigned on. As ambiguously written, the ERA, would eliminate the men-only draft requirement, repeal protective laws like sexual assault and eliminate the tendency for mothers to obtain custody over their children in divorce cases. Ironically, one of the arguments that helped sink the amendment from ratification was the fear that single-sex bathrooms would no longer be permitted. In addition, opponents of the amendment also warned that it would lead to abortion on demand and same-sex marriages.
