Barack Obama: ´Trayvon Martin
Could´ve Been Me´

Business Insider, by Brett Logiurato

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 7/19/2013 2:24:57 PM

President Barack Obama made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room Friday afternoon to make a statement on the aftermath of the verdict in the George Zimmerman case. Obama spoke in a highly personal tone — reflecting on comments he made last year in which he said that Trayvon Martin could have been his son. "Another way of saying that is, Trayvon Martin could´ve been me, 35 years ago," Obama said. Obama also touched on his own experiences with racial profiling growing up.

Obama is a gangsta punk who is bashing Americans whenever the opportunity arises. Obama, like Trayvon, is sitting on us while throwing punches. Each punch is worse than the previous one, and neither the House nor Senate, like Zimmerman´s neighbors, are able to do anymore than peer out their windows as the country is being pummeled by our Thug in Chief.

13% of the population commit 52% of the murders in this country and you wonder why I lock my doors? If I have offended anyone I am sorry but I have to error on the side of caution. Just because I hold my purse tighter or cross the street does not mean gz should have been found guilty because I am insecure.

We could only have been so lucky to be spared this Communist regime.
I guess Trayvon´s drug profile fits, as does the poor school performance, non-existent work ethic, and anti-social attitude, however, there´s nothing suggesting Obama was ever a "homophobe." In fact, today Reggie Love knows the whole truth.

Incredulous. How about dealing with the real issues? The burglaries? Teens out of control? This neighborhood was frustrated with a growing problem. Why wasn´t the police dealing with this problem by having police cars patrolling the streets?

"Shoulda," "Woulda," "Coulda" is the only world this President knows. I could care less whether that could have been him or not; start dealing with real issues. He´s starting to vote "present" again.

The true feelings of the angry black racists in this country [and they are legion] have been totally exposed since this thug regime came into power. It is time for whites and all rational blacks in this nation to forget the PC lies and omissions and stick together like glue. If that is too much to ask, then the horrible situation we find ourselves in will inevitably get much worse.

It could have been Obama because Obama is half-black? That race was a factor in the shooting of Trayvon Martin? What is the evidence for this? The fact that certain people keep saying it is so? What proof is there that race had anything whatever to do with what happened? I am not aware of a shred of such proof. Yet people with race on the brain keep making the claim, serenely untroubled by lack of evidence.

Are we in the midst of a homicide spree by white males and "white hispanics(!)" against young black males? Really? Is THIS the problem?

Young black men, many of them gang members and criminals, some of them innocent victims, are being gunned down daily, even hourly in America´s urban ghettos by other young black males. The silence of racists like Obama, Sharpton, Holder and the usual white liberal suspects about this true holocaust speaks volumes about their true motives and aims.

It is difficult to believe that Obama has a college education, much less a law degree. He either cannot think clearly and logically or he chooses to sow confusion by mixing matters up to create misleading and false impressions.

Yet again, with his stumbling speech, he spoke of the ´victims´. When you continue to tell a certain group of people that they are ´victims´, of course they begin to believe that. Obama is such a divider of people - no wonder this country is in such a mess. Also, this surprise speech was just another distraction from the very serious problems - Fast and Furious, Benghazi, IRS, etc.

And he really showed his hand when he said his thoughts and prayers were with the family of Trayvon - but never mentioned George Zimmerman and his family, who have received so many death threats. 2016 can´t come soon enough.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has a long-festering grudge: He deeply resents the West for winning the Cold War. He blames the United States in particular for the collapse of his beloved Soviet Union, an event he has called the "worst geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century." His list of grievances is long and was on full display in his March 18 speech announcing the annexation of Crimea by Russia. He is bitter about what he sees as Russia´s humiliations in the 1990s—economic collapse; the expansion of NATO to include members of the U.S.S.R.´s own "alliance," the Warsaw Pact; Russia´s agreement to

Russia´s military staged training exercises on Tuesday in Transdniestria, a breakaway sliver of Moldova that is a focus of tension following Russia´s annexation of Ukraine´s Crimea region. NATO´s top military commander said on Sunday he was worried that Russia might have its eye on Transdniestria, a largely Russian-speaking region that borders western Ukraine, after seizing Crimea, which has a narrow ethnic Russian majority. The Interfax news agency quoted a spokesman for Russia´s Western Military District, Colonel Oleg Kochetkov, as saying that Russian forces stationed in Transdniestria had "conducted an anti-terrorism drill and practiced operations to rebuff an attack on their military base". The Affordable Care Act returned to the Supreme Court on Tuesday, as the Justices heard a major challenge to the law´s birth-control mandate. Five and maybe even six Justices across ideological lines seemed discomfited by the Administration´s cramped conception of religious liberty. In 2012 the Health and Human Services Department published a regulation interpreting an ObamaCare provision to require all for-profit employer health plans to cover 20 contraception methods, including four that some religious believers consider abortifacients and sterilization. House Democrats are poised to offer their third discharge petition of 2014 Wednesday, this one to force a floor vote on an immigration overhaul bill. They’ll need to get 218 signatures on the petition in order to compel GOP leadership to bring up their legislation, which mirrors the Senate-passed immigration bill, except for some tweaks in the border security language. The likelihood of that outcome is approximately zero: Even the few House Republicans who have broken with their leaders to sign on as co-sponsors to the House bill are not expected to embrace a procedural tactic that would embarrass the majority party. Despite adding almost a trillion dollars to our national debt and failing to keep the unemployment rate at or below 8% as advertised, liberals consider President Obama´s signature stimulus package — the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act — a success, in part because of the number of jobs it "saved." Beyond the obvious failings of the president´s plan, now more than five years old, the approach is illustrative of how presidents sometimes try to stabilize an economy using fiscal policy. But there is a right way and a wrong way. Sen. Ted Cruz recently remarked on two very different fiscal policy outcomes: "Reaganomics means

London - A remarkable piece of high-tech data detective work has provided what looks to be the missing clue to the tragic fate of missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, an expert said Monday. Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak earlier on Monday said that information provided by British satellite company Inmarsat and the British government´s Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) confirmed that MH370 had flown to a remote part of the Indian Ocean where the flight ended. (Snip) Inmarsat had come up with a theory to apply to the data it had collected from MH370 during the flight, and had then tested the results on aircraft in

Former President Jimmy Carter is back in the news this week publicizing a new book about women’s rights. But, as is often the case with Carter, he drew more interest for comments he made about Israel and its supporters. When asked on NBC’s Meet the Press yesterday by Andrea Mitchell why it was that Barack Obama never called upon him for advice, he made it clear that the Jewish state was the reason he has been treated like a pariah: I—that’s a hard question– for me to answer—you know, with complete candor. I think the problem was that– that in dealing

Media Matters, the website of choice for Fox News haters everywhere, attacked the cable news network on Monday for using the term “homosexual” in its programming — advancing the peculiar argument that the scientific term has a “pejorative connotation.” The online “media watchdog” contends that calling gay people “homosexual” is “a practice that’s quickly falling out of favor with major news outlets due the term’s often pejorative connotation and frequent use by opponents of LGBT equality.” Fox News, they chide, “has yet to update its language when referring to gay and lesbian people.” Buttressing their argument? First Lady Michelle Obama talked about America as she visited a school today in China. She talked about the American dream: And my story isn’t unusual in America. Some of our most famous athletes, like LeBron James, and artists, like the singer Janelle Monae, came from struggling families like mine, as do many business leaders -- like Howard Schultz. He’s the head of a company called Starbucks, which many of you may have heard of. When Mr. Schultz was a boy his father lost his job, leaving their family destitute. But Mr. Schultz worked hard. He got a scholarship to a

WASHINGTON — Spring break was never this dull. First Lady Michelle Obama’s kids finally hit the wall on their whirlwind visit to China, showing signs they’ve nearly reached their limit tagging along with mom as she visits site after site on what’s billed as a “person-to-person” tour. Accompanied by Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, the first lady on Monday toured Xi’an, an ancient city in the ancestral province of Chinese President Xi Jinping. They inspected the city’s 600-year-old wall, a day after touring the Great Wall near Beijing. Photos show Sasha looking like she’d rather be back home with her pals than hitting the

A few weeks ago, I wrote about how the sweeping acceptance of gay marriage in recent years is owed in large part to Christianity. Rejecting the rigidly hierarchical and stratified societies of the ancient world, Jesus Christ taught the equal dignity of all persons, proclaimed that the meek shall inherit the earth, and declared that the last shall be first and the first shall be last. The Western world has been working out the logic of these subversive teachings ever since, with the institutional transformation of marriage being the latest, though surely not the last, example of its social, moral,

Most Supreme Court watchers are fixated these days on Sebelius v. Hobby Lobby—the important challenge to the Affordable Care Act’s contraception mandate scheduled for argument Tuesday. And why wouldn’t they be? With its potent mix of religion, sex, Obamacare, and prayerful corporations, it’s the blockbuster case of the term. It is also a crucial test of Chief Justice John Roberts’s leadership on the Supreme Court. Just two years ago, Roberts cast the deciding vote to largely uphold the Affordable Care Act. While the country remains divided over whether he acted like a traitor or a statesman, all would have to agree

It’s not an early April Fool’s joke -- Business Insider has hired disgraced former NYC Congressman and mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner to write a weekly political column, starting Friday. Hunter Walker, Business Insider’s politics editor, published the announcement on Monday, after teasing the news on Twitter by announcing that “something wonderful is about to happen.” The folks at Business Insider are clearly aware of the built-in entertainment value of hiring the scandalized politician, who is best known for sending an explicit photo of himself to an online mistress on Twitter -- and initially denying the photo was his. (The trouble didn’t

During oral arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday which focused on whether the contraceptive mandate in the Affordable Care Act violates the free exercise of religion, Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan suggested employers who have moral objections to birth control should not provide health care coverage for their employees. “But isn´t there another choice nobody talks about, which is paying the tax, which is a lot less than a penalty and a lot less than -- than the cost of health insurance at all?” Sotomayor said during the presentation by attorney Paul Clement, who represents Hobby Lobby Stores

Three Secret Service agents responsible for protecting President Obama in Amsterdam this week were sent home and put on administrative leave Sunday after going out for a night of drinking, according to three people familiar with the incident. One of them was found drunk and passed out in a hotel hallway, the people said. The hotel staff alerted the U.S. Embassy in the Netherlands after finding the unconscious agent Sunday morning, a day before Obama arrived in the country, according to two of the people. The embassy then alerted Secret Service managers on the presidential trip, which included Secret Service
