Obama: ´Trayvon Could Have Been Me´
Breitbart Big Government, by Ben Shapiro

Speaking at the White House on Friday, President Obama addressed the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial for the killing of Trayvon Martin for the first time since 2012, when he declared that if he had a son, he’d look like Martin. This time, Obama said, “Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.” Obama also said, “Reasonable doubt was relevant, and they rendered a verdict. Once the jury´s spoken, that´s how our system works.” Obama said he was "bouncing around" ideas with his staff on how to respond to the Zimmerman verdict, adding,

Conservatives tried to tell the nation that Obama was a ne´er-do-well, but they would not listen. I had not realized that Obama had had such a troubled youth. I thought the extent of his trouble was hanging out with druggies, smoking weed and doing some cocaine. I had not realized that he was also into robbing people and beating people up.

I had not read the article before I first posted. A few years ago my wife and I were houseparents for an organization that worked to rehabilitate juvenile offenders (with a pretty good degree of success). One of the boys (out of six) in the house was white. He was the most trouble. If he had been in Trayvon´s situation, things would have ended exactly the same that night (except that none of us would have ever heard about it).

The poll results must have come in from Obama´s base.

Results: They don´t care about facts, due process, the law... they want blood in the streets.

Zippy is just egging them on.

What a horrible president we have.

FTA: "Obama stated, "If Trayvon Martin was of his age and armed, could he have stood his ground on that sidewalk?"

0bama continues to prove what an ass he is by this insipid stupid question. At SEVENTEEN, if Trayvon Martin had a gun on him, he would have been a criminal [true gangsta] without question, one that black community could have not been able to deny.

ABC interrupted programming to bring excerpts...outrageous that the most powerful person in the world is still talking about the "history" of how Blacks have been treated as opposed to adopting MLK´s question, Where Do We Go From Here? Raised by a single mom and his grandparents, dope smoking as a teen, and a mediocre academic and work history, and he still becomes president. I´d much rather he issue the challenge that there are no more excuses for failure, none. While on the topic of failure, Black unemployment is at 15% and over 50% for the Black youth he professes concern for, while he focuses on homosexual marriage, homosexuals in the military, and green energy which hasn´t provided jobs for Blacks and anyone else...

Did Trayvon go to a school like Punahou? Do the very tiny number of black people in Hawaii face any discrimination? Would he have provoked a fight with someone who found him suspicious? And we know that he didn´t have to visit unfamiliar neighborhoods to visit his father, since his father was in Kenya and he lived with his grandparents in a stable home.

Another thing that annoys me about all this demagoguing is constantly referring to 17 year old six footer Trayvon as a "child," and saying your black and brown "little children" aren´t safe when we face racial profiling and stand your ground laws, etc. etc. etc. At 17, a young person can enlist in the military to await his next birthday to make it official. Most 17 year olds are sexually active, and they are doing a lot of other adult things as well. Can we please stop with the "child" label already!

Pope Francis surprised his own master of ceremonies on Friday by confessing his sins to an ordinary priest in St. Peter´s Basilica. The pope was presiding at a service intended to show the importance he attaches to the sacrament of reconciliation, commonly known as confession. After reading a sermon, he was to have gone to an empty confessional booth to hear confessions from ordinary faithful as some 60 priests scattered around the huge church did the same. His master of ceremonies, Monsignor Guido Marini, pointed him toward the empty booth but the pope went straight to a another one, knelt

In school, a child who gets a 67 percent will generally get a D. But for Obamacare, 67 percent is apparently grounds for an A. Talk about grading on a curve. In 2012, the Congressional Budget Office projected that 9 million people would get health insurance for 2014 through Obamacare’s government-run exchanges. Two days ago, the Obama administration announced that 6 million people had gotten insurance for 2014 through those very same exchanges—and the administration could barely contain its glee. One by one, the myths of the Affordable Care Act have been revealed. When the curtain on open enrollment falls on March 31, the last remaining big myth of ObamaCare will be fully exposed: The individual mandate has failed. After a last-ditch effort with President Obama himself encouraging "young invincibles" to sign up before the deadline, the administration is scrambling to boost enrollment. On Tuesday, the White House announced that people who applied for coverage on the federal health-insurance exchange will have until mid-April to finish the paperwork. The mandate was supposed to be the administration´s magical elixir for the assorted shortcomings

More than six million Americans have now signed up for private insurance under the Affordable Care Act, according to the White House, with just four days to go until the end of its first open enrollment period. While traveling in Italy on Thursday, President Obama shared the news in a conference call with thousands of health-care navigators and volunteers helping enroll people on state and federal marketplaces. As the volume of consumers seeking health plans has surged -- there were over 1.5 million visits to HealthCare.gov Wednesday and more than 430,000 calls to the marketplaces´ call centers -- Obama urged those on

Their target is the GOP, but they are not angry liberals bent on destroying it. They are reform-minded Republican leaders intent on strengthening it. These Republicans are applying conservative principles to 21st-century challenges, focused on middle-class concerns like lowering costs and improving access to college, modernizing health care and reforming the tax code. They aim to broaden prosperity´s reach through markets and merit, not government and corporate cronyism. They´re also concentrating on helping the poor by changing Washington´s dizzying assortment of antipoverty programs to emphasize work and make the safety net more effective and sustainable. The reformers´ success in providing

One is a world leader who has been praised for his humility and outlook on the world. The other is an American president, once the international superstar of the political stage. So it is no surprise that President Barack Obama has travelled to the Vatican in Rome possibly to get some tips from the popular Pope Francis who now even has own weekly glossy magazine dedicated to him. As he sat down with the Pontiff at the Vatican this morning, Obama called himself a ´great admirer´ of the pope. Their historic first meeting comes as Obama´s administration and the church

Usually the type of Republicans MSNBC hosts invite on their shows are either craven RINO types who can be depended upon to trash talk fellow Republicans, or the more inarticulate, dimmer bulbs in the party who fail to communicate conservative positions effectively. MSNBC host Chris Hayes had an entirely different type of animal on his hands with PA Americans For Prosperity Director, Jennifer Stefano. In fact, he´s probably still licking his wounds after the nasty confrontation he had with her, Wednesday night in a debate over the latest ObamaCare delay. He got off on the wrong foot by introducing Stefano

Joe Newby at The Washington Examiner has found a real doozy of a “comedian.” Her name is Laura Levites – with obviously no connection to the priests of the Old Testament. (She´s an atheist with a fondness for Ricky Gervais.) "I would personally like to castrate every Male Conservative Christian so that they have NO reproductive rights," she wrote on Twitter, using the hashtag "#HobbyLobby." She certainly knows how to draw attention to herself. Newby said that’s not all. She also expressed her hatred of Christians in a tweet calling conservative Christians "******bags," claiming they are "really trying" her patience.
