How a Miami School Crime
Cover-Up Policy Led to
Trayvon Martin’s Death

American Spectator, by Robert Stacy McCain

The February 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martion might never have happened if school officials in Miami-Dade County had not instituted an unofficial policy of treating crimes as school disciplinary infractions. Revelations that emerged from an internal affairs investigation explain why Martin was not arrested when caught at school with stolen jewerly in October 2011 or with marijuana in February 2012. Instead, the teenager was suspended from school, the last time just days before he was shot dead by George Zimmerman.(Snip)Both of Trayvon’s suspensions during his junior year at Krop High involved crimes

Chief Hurley did not insititute this program on his own. Follow the link regarding his receiving a commendation (Paragraph 3) to an expose on the Miami-Dade School Superintendent Alberto Carvalho´s desire to improve the "optics" re juvenile crime in his district´s schools. Carvalho, friend of Obama, is still there. Hurley took the fall. Trayvon Martin took a worse one.

The school district commended Chief Hurley for lowering the crime rate by 60%. Does anyone with a functioning brain really believe that the crime rate dropped? Time to clean out the mendacious school system leadership, meaning Carvalho and all his toadies, and bring in the guy with the big paddle.

TM was heading for a life in and out of prison (based on profiling the lives of young blacks with irresponsible parents). That´s the black culture he was living in, and that a lot of black people are so proud of. If Zimmerman hadn´t had a gun TM would, or should, have been in jail for assault and battery, or murder.

He was suspended from school, smoked marijuana, hated white people, was a thief, and was trying to sell a gun. Nice kid.

This info should have been allowed in the trial. Everyone wanted to know what was in Zimmerman´s motives when this case should have focused on Martin. The pressitutes have said that only Zimmerman had a gun but did Zimmerman know that Martin was not carrying? Did Zimmerman know Martin was only 17? Did Zimmerman know anything about Zimmerman´s background? No and No and No!

This horrendous act of Baker Acting children was discovered by Sundance at theconservativetreehouse. There was an article that made national news in the Washington Times the Monday of the first week of the Zimmerman trial.

This police cover-up of Trayvon´s crimes was likely part and parcel to contributing to his felonious activities, as he was never held accountable for his actions.Suspending a child is akin to giving them vacation.

Trayvon learned that he could get away with anything, and get near permanent vacay in th process, missing 53 days of school. Even the potential burglary of a home, the items found in Trayvon´s bookbag, were of no consequence. He just got sent home to play in the streets unattended.

If there is anyone to blame, the fingerpointing should start with his home, his parents that shuffled him from place to place, as he was an unmanageable burden. The school, in partnership with police, gave him a free ticket to have no fear of repercussions for his actions.

Add in the drugs and the fight club, and you have a community organized tragedy that George Zimmerman became the scapegoat for.

And here we are today, with potentially more Trayvons about to be loosed upon an unsuspecting community, fearing no discipline.

And we are being told if you see a black man walking down the road, even in your neighborhood, dare not get out of your car. He might attack you, and you may have to defend yourself, and if you do, you could go to prison.

Beware the animals in the jungles that were once our neighborhoods.

Why didn´t OldMedia tell me this? Does Obama know that his "son" was a street punk?

Seems like if the Martins want to make some real money, they should lay off Zimmerman and file a civil rights action against Miami-Dade County.

Wouldn´t that be sweet?

Re #5, it should be made clear that the "police" were not the Miami police, but the Miami-Dade School Police Department. The school district has its own PD, which was run by Chief Hurley, now gone.

The "Baker Acting" was concocted by the M-D School Superintendent and the M-D Schools police chief.

The Miami police department was never in the loop.

…and what came to this had its baptism administered by the President of the United States. It´s he muslim POTUS who told us that if he had a son he´d look like Trayvon wasn´t a teen having a little fun. He was a big 17 year old who ended up dead when an intended victim defended himself. He was no innocent and already in trouble in school. He smoked dope and was staying with a relative´s girl friend 200 miles from home because he´d been bounced out of school— again. He´d been found with stolen jewelry and when searched turns out the tools they found in his backpack are those often carried by a thief —also in his backpack was jewelry identified as having been stolen. He hated "whitey," and was aided and abetted by a sheriff who did nothing to haul him in and deal with what he´d done because he wanted to look like he was keeping crime down. Trayvon Martom died because he was slamming his victim´s head into concrete and was shot as his "victim" was trying to defend himself.

I hope that Zimmerman´s legal team sues NBC into oblivion and takes the FL female prosecutor all the way to a jail cell. Her press conference was a study in spinning without success and, as much as Obama, she has a large share of the blame for her deliberate and malevolent actions.

I imagine that most parents tell their kids if they are in a dangerous situation and the opportunity arises that you can escape - DO IT! Being proud of his street fighting I am sure tm was only to happy to show this white ass cracker his skills. So instead of taking off he confronted gz. If gz did not have his gun on him tm would have won. I heard at least five different black journalists/commentators say they would have fought gz too They would not run away, they would confront him and fight him. That is the problem. This need to be physical. So while they are concerned about what gz "had in his head and his heart" tm had his own set of issues.

FTA: "Officer Dunn found 12 pieces of women’s jewelry and a man’s watch, along with a flathead screwdriver the officer described as a “burglary tool.”

I have always believed that not only was St. Skittles staying in the girlfriend´s residence, he was also casing the townhouse complex for burglary prospects for the future.

The cops might not have found burglary tools on him the night he died, but that didn´t mean he wasn´t hiding them in Brandy´s abode. He may have even been planning to deliver the Skittles and watermelon drink to the kid waiting t home and then go back out on a burglary that night. That may have been why he got so outraged when Zimmerman spotted him acting furtively in the complex.

That´s been something that´s rolled around in my head since more and more has been learned about the thug-in-training.

Something else I´ve wondered about: did the stolen jewelry found in his bookbag ever get returned to the rightful owners?

WASHINGTON — Stepping into a heated debate within the nation’s intelligence agencies, President Obama has decided that when the National Security Agency discovers major flaws in Internet security, it should — in most circumstances — reveal them to assure that they will be fixed, rather than keep mum so that the flaws can be used in espionage or cyberattacks, senior administration officials said Saturday. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
