Killing of Trayvon Martin

New York Times, by Lizette Alvarez

Sanford, Fla. - George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who fatally shot an unarmed black teenager, igniting a national debate on racial profiling and civil rights, was found not guilty on Saturday of the second-degree murder of Trayvon Martin. He also was acquitted of manslaughter, a lesser charge. After three weeks of testimony, the six-woman jury rejected the prosecution’s contention that Mr. Zimmerman had deliberately pursued Mr. Martin because he viewed the hoodie-clad teenager as a criminal and instigated the fight that led to his death. Mr. Zimmerman said he shot

Hallelujah! I admit that I did not think that the jurors could do it. Thank you very much ladies.

Of course if we factor in the fact that Obama fails at tying his own shoelaces, I guess I should not have been too worried.

Prayers for his safety though. The trial was nothing compared to his future thanks to the lofos in the media and Hollyweird who convicted him without a trial.

I hope this is the end of the persecution of George Zimmerman, but knowing the agitator-in-chief and his henchman-holder along with the rest of the race-hustlers, I´m afraid it will never end. In our prayers.

Now we wait for the real racists to show their colors. The ignorant who have no sense of the law. The race baiters who have no interest in the law or right or wrong.

The next thing that needs to happen is for the state lawyers to be fired and disbarred for bringing this to trial in the first place!

Breathlessly waiting for obama to make a statement. I guess he could throw out the verdict since he doesn´t think much of our laws. Turned on msnbc. Didn´t take them long to sing racism. And, because felons cannot be on a jury that keeps a lot of blacks off the lists for jury duty. Evidently 1 out of three blacks have felony convictions. But somehow it´s not their fault. Everything seems quiet. Hope it stays that way but it is a summer Sat. night in Chicago and we all know what that means. Sad situation for everyone concerned.

Jury reached same decision as the Sanford police department. Makes it obvious why Angela Corey did not present her flimsy evidence to a grand jury that would weigh evidence and determine if criminal charges were merited. She would have surely lost with the grand jury as well.

For tonight, George Zimmerman has some of his life back. On Monday, we are certain to hear from Eric Holder on how he will file a civil suit claiming that GZ denied Unarmed Trayvon Martin the right to wear a hoodie.

Al Sharpton is already running off at the mouth. Right on cue. He`s calling for the DOJ to reopen the `investigation`. That`s code for `federal civil suit` against Zimmerman.

The sooner Zimmerman`s lawyer`s file a lawsuit against Sharpton - for whatever harassment they can get to stick - the better. Also, a lawsuit against the State of Florida, State`s Atty Angela Corey and Obama for his ridiculous an obvious remake made in regards to Trayvon looking like the son he never had.

This trial was all about `get whitey`. Pure and simple. I hope Zimmerman`s `team` pursue`s these party`s in court. He hasn`t been able to work for 2 years, owe`s his lawyer`s a bundle and probably will never be able to go home again.

If ever legal revenge was in order, it certainly applies to this case.

Now -- where does George Zimmerman go to get some part of his life back? Florida should provide armed guards for him, and find the money in Sharpton´s con-job organizations, etc. Seize the "I Am Trayvon" copyright, too.

We need to erect 6 statues of those fine women on the jury. Maybe a nice, over-life-sized relief on some mountainside?

The "journalists" at the news conference now running on Fox are so stupid that, if they picked a team of four, they´d still lose at tic-tac-toe to a brain-damaged planaria. I could stand very little of it, so maybe someone else who could stomach some of it could tell us George´s favorite tree, color, and ice cream flavor?

I am outraged by the comments of the state prosecutor. In essence, she said:

"We prosecuted the case because we knew he was guilty. He was guilty because of these points..." That seems to me to be pulling rank on the jury, and saying that we respect the verdict, but we KNOW that they are wrong.

So #9, were you horrified when the WHITE infant was murdered in his stroller {shot in the head} by BLACK thugs a few weeks ago? Were you horrified when the WHITE elderly couple in Oklahoma who had been together over 50 years were brutally assaulted by BLACK thugs in their home {the old lady, blind in one eye was raped before being beaten to death.} I´m guessing you aren´t that worked up over these two atrocities or maybe you haven´t heard about them-because the liberal media, including white trash "journalists" and nutjobs like Nancy Grace don´t care any more than you do.

God Bless the jurors, but I fear that this is not over for Mr. Zimmerman.

There is a high probability that Darth Holder will file federal civil rights charges against Zimmerman, and bring down the weight of the entire corrupt Obama Chicago Machine on his head. The police officers in the Rodney King beating case were acquitted, too. Then they were charged and convicted on federal civil rights charges and several sent to prison and their lives destroyed.

#42, ABC´s Dan Abrams came down hard on West for saying the prosecution was a disgrace, saying he needed to be gracious. Guess he had to cover himself a for having come out in favor of a not-guilty verdict the other day.

One good thing just now - on the local 11 pm news they just interviewed a black lady on the rash of burglaries in a black section of town and how they were dealing with it by neighborhood watches, etc. (neighbors watching out for neighbors instead of watchmen it sounded like, but still - point made).

So the gamble paid off: Martin´s parents get $1 million or more from a settlement announced earlier today, which was settled on purpose before the trial decision so that if Zimmerman was found not guilty, they nevertheless keep the money they wouldn´t have gotten if they had waited for the today´s verdict. And Trayvon wasn´t even living with his parents who had little control over him. But of course they are weeping over his loss, having ignored him while he was growing up. Please.

Oh, G-d.

At least one presentable, fairly-articulate young black woman was part of some pseudo-press-conference on Fox still spewing the same nonsensical narrative about how some "poor 17 year old child can´t walk home without being shot." [No, no one mentioned Chicago....] Hope for GZ getting much of his life back is I guess foolhardy.

Geraldo was just on Fox, spouting stuff that wouldn´t be nonsense on its best day even if given a head start.

I´m hoping the rational fraction of the population expresses its boredom at these tantrums very expressly, and the media stops fomenting these tantrums with cameras and mics.

Zimmerman is guilty--guilty of having a white last name and not tanning enough. He is guilty of trying to make a difference in a putrifying urban world. He should have been lazier and less active, smoke some dope, stay indoors and watch some porn, etc.

Drove a old car, gets less respect from those who look at the rides and duds of pimps and drug lords. Actually interested in the law to make a better environment than to rise to the top on the backs of others.

Guiltier of subversion is the corrupt liberal media who use code words to paint a prejudicial picture of any event that can be hyped to whip up civil unrest and move the country leftward.

WASHINGTON — Senate Democratic and Republican leaders reached final agreement on a deal to reopen the government and extend its borrowing authority into February, with votes in the House and Senate possibly to begin this afternoon, according to aides familiar with the negotiations. Senate Republicans have gathered for a final review, but lawmakers have given no indication they will block it. A government shutdown into its third week yielded virtually no concessions to the Republicans other than some minor tightening of income verifications for people obtaining subsidized insurance premiums under the new health care law.

Just when I thought the George Zimmerman "trial" couldn´t sink any lower, the prosecutorial limbo dancers of the State of Florida magnificently lowered their own bar in the final moments of their cable-news celebrity. In real justice systems, the state decides what crime has been committed and charges somebody with it. In the Zimmerman trial, the state´s "theory of the case" is that it has no theory of the case: might be murder, might be manslaughter, might be aggravated assault, might be a zillion other things, but it´s something.

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
