Reversing denial, State says
Kerry was briefly on boat

Politico, by Jennifer Epstein

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 7/5/2013 12:24:25 PM

Secretary of State John Kerry was on his boat briefly on Wednesday, contrary to an earlier denial by the State Department, but was there only briefly and did not conduct official business while on board. “While he was briefly on his boat on Wednesday, Secretary Kerry worked around the clock all day including participating in the president’s meeting with his national security council," spokeswoman Jen Psaki said Friday. Kerry also held calls "with Norwegian Foreign Minister Eade,Qatari Foreign Minister al-Attiyah, Turkish Foreign Minister Davutoglu, Egyptian Constitution Party President ElBaradei and five calls Ambassador Patterson on that day alone

Comments:
Maybe he was on/off the boat before he was off/on the boat. Or not strolling before he was strolling

Yesterday, the Boston Herald article had a picture of him strolling down Federal St. in Nantucket. Does stolling on "Federal" street count as government work?

Daughters and husbands were there ... ask them what he was doing.

Usually Kerry is at local bar on the island....with several young women. Been doing this for years. A local rag likes to report on him partying with young, adult women who are not related to him. At least one picture is taken and the contrast between old horseface and those women is amazing. Really reminds you of the kennedy boys partying hard on the cape. Only those men and their women were much closer in age than the women kerry is with.

Diogenes of Sinope was a greek philosopher who was known to wander the streets, carrying a lantern, saying that he was in search of an honest man.
I doubt he would wander the halls of the State Department, where everyone seems to lie, whether they are Obama appointees or career civil servants.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Pictures of Kerry on and around Theresa´s yacht speak volumns. Also saw two different pictures of Obama in the War Room with his advisors talking about Egypt. In one picture, he had on a suit and tie. In the other, he had on a light blue shirt with rolled up sleeves and kakis. Which one was the real one or was either one a real one? Members of the Obama administration do not work very often or much. They leave it up to their staff. I did not see a picture of Valerie. Where is she these days and what is she up to?

China´s president, Xi Jinping, has called for "all-out efforts" to bring to justice the black-clad assailants who killed 29 people with knives and machetes in a bloody terror attack in the south-western city of Kunming on Saturday night. Officials blamed Xinjiang separatists for the frenzied violence at a crowded train station. Witnesses described fleeing in fear as the assailants hacked at people apparently at random. Graphic photographs of the aftermath showed bodies lying in pools of blood. One of the 130 survivors injured in the incident described fleeing in terror as a man lashed out with a long knife, nicking

A vital piece of land on the Black Sea that´s been claimed by some of the world´s great empires, Crimea is no stranger to conflict. The peninsula has been sacked by Huns, Greeks, Turks and Mongols. It was part of the Mongol Empire under Genghis Khan and later the Ottoman Empire before it was absorbed by the Russian Empire under Catherine the Great in 1783. Perhaps its bloodiest chapter came between 1853 and 1856 during the Crimean War. An estimated 750,000 people died as Russia fought the Ottoman Empire in a conflict that also involved France, Britain and Sardinia. The

This week, controversy has broken out over Arizona’s law protecting the right of religious businessowners to reject service to particular customers. The law came hard on the heels of a series of outrageous court decisions finding that private businesses could be forced, in violation of their religion, to serve events such as same-sex weddings. Cowardly Republicans including former presidential candidates Gov. Mitt Romney (R-MA) and Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) have been running headlong from the law, suggesting that it is somehow granting the moral okay to discrimination to recognize Americans’ First Amendment rights.

FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality. It was a world in which “the tide of war is receding” and the United States could, without much risk, radically reduce the size of its armed forces. Invasions, brute force, great-power games and shifting alliances — these were things of the past. Secretary of State John F. Kerry displayed this mindset on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday when he
