U.S. Economy Adds
195,000 Jobs in June

Fox Business, by Dunstan Prial

Original Article

Posted By:toledo, 7/5/2013 10:45:33 AM

The U.S. economy added 195,000 jobs in June, ahead of forecasts and more than May’s figure, perhaps alleviating some concerns that the labor market is stuck in neutral and not contributing enough to the economic recovery. The headline unemployment rate was unchanged at 7.6%. Economists had predicted an increase of 165,000 jobs and that the rate would drop to 7.5% from a month earlier. Employers added 175,000 jobs in May.

No mention of seasonal adjustment, means they haven´t seasonally adjusted the numbers. The number that has always stuck in my head is that you need 200,000 jobs a month just to keep up with population growth.

Mystery solved, unless you believe the administration didn´t have advance warning of the report.

On another site it was reported that part time hiring was at an all time high. It´s very hard to pay bills and have a good quality of life on part time pay. Even if you work two part time jobs it´s bad. These numbers mean nothing.

The bulk of the gains—75,000—came in the hospitality industry of bar tending, waiters, cashiers and bus boys.

Or, the good jobs that Obama promised.

As much as you may loathe tax season, there are people who rejoice during this time of year. They see it as prime time for picking people to victimize. Unscrupulous folks know taxpayers are eager to get a large refund. They love the complexity of the tax code, which provides them the opportunity to trick people into letting down their guard. It might be said more accurately that the Tea Party, just as was once true of Ronald Reagan, is to the Left
