As George Zimmerman Prosecution
Implodes, A Media Invested In
His Guilt Grows More Shrill

Mediaite, by Noah Rothman

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 7/2/2013 5:24:47 PM

“It’s dangerous for America the way were doing this as a trial in the media with the whole nation as jury.” This observation about the trial of George Zimmerman for the murder of Florida teen Trayvon Martin in 2012 by MSNBC host Touré was as true when he made it, in March of last year, as it is today. Too few, it seems, have taken his advice to heart. Since the Zimmerman trial began, the instant analysis of the nationally televised case – meriting near wall-to-wall coverage on the cable news outlets – has not been favorable

Unfortunately the more it seems the prosecutions case is imploding I fear the more likely it becomes that Zimmerman is convicted.

The MSM is doing its usual best to promote the progressive tenet that blacks are always the victim and non-blacks are always the oppressor.

As an aside, I wish I knew how to send this idea to the Zimmerman defense team. This afternoon, I would have liked to have heard medical examiner Valerie Rao answer the following questions:

1. Are you aware that, in their investigations, police officers are obliged to identify and pursue both evidence of guilt and evidence of innocence?

2. In your professional assignments, are you similarly obliged?

3. In your examinations are you permitted to incorporate eyewitness testimony in your analyses?

4. In this case, were you given and did you review any evidence from eyewitnesses?

5. For your examination were you provided and did you take into consideration any of the eyewitness evidence provided by either John Moore or George Zimmerman?

Once upon a time, America had both justice and journalism. Both of those have morphed into entertainment venues.

First, the prosecution is bringing witnesses out of any logical order. Today, a friend of Angela Corey´s, a medical examiner, testified that all of those injuries to Zimmerman´s head and face were likely the result of one punch. All of the bruises, lacerations, abrasions, broken nose, were all the result of one punch!
That was despicable testimony!
The fingerprint person from the sheriff´s office testified today that there were no fingerprints from Saint Trayvon on the gun.
Amazing!
Finally, the prosecution is calling defense witnesses to preempt the defense. That is unethical.
And - Judge Beauty Queen inadvertently tipped her hand, by telling O´meara to call Serino as his own witness, when she oddly said that the jury should disregard Serino´s opinion that Zimmerman was truthful. Since the lead investigator really is the decision maker in moving a case to the DA, of course he had an opinion, and should have been allowed to offer it.
There are so many reversible errors caused by Judge Beauty Queen, I am losing track.

The power-hungry media picked our president, and it picks what words should be prohibited for us to utter. Not surprising that it wants to dominate who gets convicted.

Although Zimmerman will probably be found guilty to prevent race riots, Obama himself has a novel solution for the son he never had but looks like Trayvon.

Instead of issuing a pardon to a guilty person, Obama will find Zimmerman guilty by executive order in the unlikely event he is found innocent.

For the good of the country he will issue this order because it is the right thing to do. He will let SCOTUS figure it out long after he leaves office. Remember the producer of that hateful video on the Muslim religion is still in prison from the long time ago Benghazi days.

Trayvon Martin, black America´s poster boy, sets back race relations in any case.

Latinos and o9ther Hispanics or whatever the correct PC term d´jour is, are leaving Whitey to worry about justice and he isn´t even "our" boy, he chose to be one race and it wasn´t white.

Half Cracker but all-cracker when blame is spread and No-cracker when the perks are being given out? And MLK´s dream? Up in smoke? Dope smoke that takes away dopamine which affects brain function.

Tiger Woods had more racial pride and identity but he didn´t need affirmative aaaction.

Want AA to end? Do a dem thing and refuse to claim a race or claim more than one. I think the current law let´s us choose our race without a DNA test. Perk profiling, or giving the bill for the meal to the one at the table with most cracker blood.

State of the Union and it doesn´t bode well for peace anad prosperity rather than the chaos that breeds most left-wing revolutions.

The last line in the piece makes the uncritical assertion that "Martin didn´t deserve to die."

I don´t agree. Anyone that jumps on someone, knocks them to the ground, and begins pummelling and banging his head on concrete is getting to a point were the person being attacked fears for his conciousness, knowing that if he becomes unconcious, death may be the next thing.
It is not unreasonable at that point to use maximum available force in SELF DEFENSE.

Cornering and seriously beating people is very dangerous behavior. Some people can fight well enough to stop this sort of attack, some cannot.
This is one reason why guns exist, to equalize those lacking naturally superior fighting skills. Women, small men, older people, etc.

This whole case was used as a tool to foment racial hostility. To do so the media and the WH was willing to destroy George Zimmerman by sacrificing him on the alter of political manipulation. Trayvon Martin was an aggressive punk and if Obama did have a son, he probably would be just like Martin...arrogant and aggressive.

When it comes to America, this band of criminal Washington elite (and their media) is in the business of divide and conquer. Blacks are pitted against whites, the rich against the poor, the Democrats against the Republicans, illegal invaders against legitimate citizens, gun-haters against gun owners, abortionists against pro-life advocates, etc., etc.

With so many fomenting divisions We the People will find it much more difficult to rise up and shake of this evil tyranny.

I was listening to Pat Somebody on the Schnitt show yesterday and you could tell all the black callers were getting their news from the alphabets. Just reminded me of my black friend who said, during the OJ trial, ´they haven´t shown me anything yet that OJ is guilty.´ Watching what is going on in the trial and knowing the real story from http://theconservativetreehouse.com/ it just sickening. Just a further indication of where this country is headed, which is also sickening.

If you want to see what Trayvon and his family is really like, see the website above.

It´s time for the media (are you listening HLN?) to stop using these trials for entertainment. The consequences are to serious. HLN automatically assumes if someone is charged with a crime, they are guilty and they do everything they can to convince the audience. If Sanford burns, I hope every residence brings a civil suit against HLN. I used to watch, not anymore.

This case is an example of the social justice the libs are forever proclaiming. The guilty will always be the lightest skinned individual. That´s only fair in their minds since any cracker is a hate filled bigot bent on killing anyone with a darker skin tone.

Mr. Zimmerman´s life will be destroyed by either verdict. The politically correct zealots will see to that. He will spend his life in prison or will spend it hiding from the media and those who want to extract their own personal justice.

For Obama to opine that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon - to me the only difference between Obama and Trayvon and how their lives turned out is that Obama had the benefit (not perfect of coruse) of two lving and caring white grandparents. Like Trayvon, Barack´s own parents weren´t exactly parents-of-the-year material.

#2 add one more question to that list for the med examiner: How did George Zimmerman know his injuries were not life-threatening at the moment they were happening?

I have another question no one has answered: If GZ had intent to hunt down and kill Trayvon, why did he call 911 first?

The prosecution is pursuing subjective agenda, ie precedent mindset. The judge did indeed seem to help the prosecution by insisting the detective be allowed to label Zimmerman´s mindset as "profiling". Isn´t that only applicable to law enforcement? So now it´s a citizen classification as well? Well majik dust-you just get to make up new stuff like this if you were sent/hand picked by the Chancellory, don´t ya know?

See prosecution pick apart/splits hairs re Zimmerman´s wounds to "life threatening" or not? That is crazy logic, who knows the level of damage coming as the other poster above mentioned? Wait to find out how much more severe and wind up dead! If one is bleeding and being pummeled it´s time for aggressive/lethal action.

Right #27, Sanford could be sacrificed to scorched earth and other hidden agenda. Body bags obviously don´t affect bamboozler and neither will burned out cities. It´s all for the good of his, ahem, movement...sacrifice of the few(a city) for the good of the many(black liberation theology).

As I´ve posted before. There is one of two results that will happen at the close of this "trial". If GZ is convicted, there will be dancing in the streets of black communities and the shouting about "justice" for the black man. If GZ is found not guilty, then the riots will begin in said black communities with the shouting of "no justice for the black man". This is a given, simply from the start, the black race baiters wanted a white man convicted of murder of a black man. And a teenager made it all the more enticing. Sorry to say that, but it´s the honest truth.

I have been watching HLN because they show the trial, but their idiot talking heads and pundits are pathetic. Jane Mitchell is shrill and over the top as she tries to slam Zimmerman. I have never watched much of Nancy Grace, but I am astounded that she has a show because she´s as dumb as a rock. She´s also an arrogant B-word. She hammers that poor guy who is a friend of Zimmerman´s. Yesterday, she mocked him and was going to send him a bandaid because she didn´t believe Zimmerman´s life was in danger. I would like to suggest that she let someone pound her head in the concrete a couple of times and then mock Zimmerman.

Forget justice for Obama´s son, I want justice for the railroaded Zimmerman.

I spent time yesterday afternoon at theconservativetreehouse.com reading what they had researched and found out about TM´s drug use, drug sales, school problems, thuggery (MMA fighting) and other things. He was known to use the drug called ´lean´ (and what is known by other names), and his autopsy/tox report indicates he had used it enough his liver and brain were already damaged. That is what he was buying the watermelon drink and Skittles for - to make more. Interesting read and certainly not what has been reported about Saint Trayvon. Are you aware he didn´t even live with his mother most of the time? His father´s brother and wife were trying to help him go straight and his stepmother had him for about 10 years. She has been threatened to keep her mouth shut now because she doesn´t tell the right story.

The cruelest irony of all is that Trayvon, neglected and bounced back and forth between his parents and government "educators" who gave him little to no direction or correction, is worth more to them, and to the kangaroo court prosecution and breathless racist bystanders readying themselves to riot, dead than alive. Ain´t that a helluva note? Bottom line: this misguided youth, drug user, and would be mixed martial artist made the ultimate mistake of attacking and savagely beating an armed man.

If lawyers employed as public prosecuters were worth a darn they´d be in private practice commanding $500 an hour for their services. Instead, they are a pack of law school mediocrities who seek out sensationalistic trials they hope will propel them to a political career. Because after all, those who can, do; those who can´t, teach; and those who can neither do nor teach run for public office.

The court videos show GZ to be a nice guy, not belligerent or aggressive or the type to initiate a confrontation.
One of the most entertaining nightly recaps is Anderson Cooper´s 360 legal panel.
The black female legal analyst , Sunny Hostin ,
is so in the tank for Trayvon, she needs a snorkel and fins.
Every day is a glorious day for the prosecution ,
when the 3 other male legal analysts always disagree.
Even that odious Jeffrey Toobin.
Mark Geragos sighs and whistles and rolls his eyes when Sunny Hostin
gives her nightly biased opinion.
Geragos was on fire last night.
Hostin was saying that TM´s fingerprints were not on the gun,
which means that he never tried to touch it , therefore Zimmerman lied.
Geragos starts yelling and waving his hands.
" Zimmerman´s prints were not found on the gun either ,
Sunny, therefore he never fired it, Case closed ! "
Megyn Kelly reported that the awful prosecution ME has had numerous employee complaints
in a previous job about the quality
of her work , including that she did autopsies with her bare hands
and washed her feet in the autopsy sink .
O´Mara started to ask the ME something
along the lines of all head trauma begins with
insignificant injuries, but, he was cut off.
You would think the judge, knowing she would be on tv,
might have spruced herself up a bit, including getting a better wig.

Another thought...Zimmerman did NOT pull the gun as a first resort, he tried to get away from Travon...as a last resort he had to pull the gun to get Travon off of him...

That alone tells me there was no premedidation or plan to kill the kid, it was a delayed reaction to the situation.

Travon had decided, in his punk way, that he could solve his perceived problem by beating up Zimmerman and like other times he would get a pass...all of that faulty logic he´d been trained through example and history to depend on went horribly wrong wheen Zimmerman had decided his life was in jeapordy, pulled out his gun and shot Travon.

There are no other pertinent issues in spite of all the BS the prosecution is dreaming up.

I hope the Jury see´s through all the smoke and mirrors and does the right thing.

Sorry the kid died, but he brought it on himself!

Question: What´s going to happen when the Prosecution puts the mother on the stand and she testifies that the voice on the tape calling for help is that of St. Trayvon?

My first question to her would be, "How the heck would you know? You spent so little time with the kid, it´s hard to believe you´d even know his normal voice, much less what he sounded like under stress."

And what about the father´s initial statement that the voice was not St. Trayvon´s? Can the Defense call him and grill him on just when Crump hammered him until he [the father] changed his mind?

So many possibilities for the Defense to hang the mother and the father.

The LSM media could care less about guilt or innocence.
What they want is to try to focus on race and on the "evil" of self-defense, justified or not.

It appears the judge and persecution attorneys have been educated, trained and indoctrinated by our present educational system dedicated to karl marx and Hatred of the United States of America. Also the governor of Florida lacks backbone to get rid of a female nyfong.

This whole episode was exploited by the media and zippy to stir up his base for the 2012 election. Remember, no one even heard about it until a couple of months after the fact and only did when zippy´s reelection campaign decided to use it as a fuse to light up the homies.

I can´t believe the defense ---- since when do "minor cuts and bruises" signify how serious the head injuries are.

NFL players get concussions with no out ward contusions. Baseball players get beaned with a fast ball and show no out cuts or bruises, but can sustain very serious injuries.

Mark O’Mara should have eaten up Dr. Valerie Rao, for the nit wit she is.

This Case is a ´Show Trial´ for Modern Day ´Vigilante Justice´. Or possibly, the modern version of the Roman ´Games´ in the Coliseum where the Christians were fed to the lions or shamelessly murdered for the thrill seeking crowd.
The LSM Media has decided that Zimmerman is guilty and must therefor be executed.
He has been tried and convicted by the so called News Media. They just don´t have ´the stones´ to simply drag him out of the Courthouse, and throw a rope over a tree limb, themselves. They have set about to have the Judicial System do their dirty work. They will let someone else do the deed and their hands will symbolically be clean.

U.S. Border Control agents detained 147 people suspected of being in the country illegally from a stash house Thursday afternoon in Alton — shortly after 81 people were found hiding in makeshift huts in McAllen. The 147 people were discovered in a house at the 8900 block of North Bentsen Palm Drive. Border Patrol spokesman Danny Tirado said he didn’t recall the exact time of the bust, but said it was not too long after the 81 people were found in a brushy area of McAllen northwest of Sprague and North 10th Street about 1 p.m. The 147 people detained

Reports are flying across the Internet about the possibility that Apple’s satellite map app just snapped a pic of the elusive “Loch Ness monster.” Long speculated to be a relative of the dinosaur-era plesiosaur, many have chalked the rumors up to baseless monster talk. Until now. (Photograph) Could this satellite imagery hold a clue that scientists on the hunt have been missing? Could the Loch Ness monster be real?

Bunkersville, Nevada — Cliven Bundy’s ranch, recently the site of a tense stand-off that started over two weeks ago between the federal government and the Bundy family, had morphed into a good old-fashioned family picnic complete with live country music, hamburgers, and hotdogs Friday. A week after the Bureau of Land Management’s armed force left Bunkersville, Bundy and his supporters continue to make the family’s case relating to Bundy’s right to graze his cattle on public land his family has been on for many years. Bundy told Breitbart News the only communication he has received from the BLM recently has been

The president´s speeches may need to be accompanied by a laugh track from now on, considering the crickets he received at his appearance in Community College of Allegheny County, in Oakdale, Pa., on Wednesday. Although he tried to tout his new spending program, both Obama´s talking points and attempts at humor didn´t go over so well: At the end, when the president walked back from the podium to smile and wave at the roughly 60 people in the bleachers 20 feet behind him, he faced a unfriendly wall of faces. The White House video of the bleacher’s front rank shows three men with their hands crossed, one with his hands stuck

Two Democratic Party candidates in the primary race for California´s 33rd congressional district in West Los Angeles have accused local party officials of using an arbitrary fundraising minimum to favor established insiders--then raising that minimum at the last moment to exclude them from a recent candidates´ forum. Democrats Kristie Holmes and Barbara Mulvaney issued a joint press release earlier this week, accusing the Pacific Palisades Democratic Club (PPDC) of "uninviting" them from a forum on Sunday, April 13 "after first zealously pursuing them." Only candidates who participated were eligible for the club´s

On Tuesday morning, a plane owned in trust by the Bank of Utah showed up in a very visible area of the Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran. What was it doing there exactly? Nobody knows, reports The New York Times. Under President Barack Obama, the United States has eased some of the long-standing punitive economic sanctions against Iran. Still, very little American — or European — economic activity is allowed inside the religious theocracy. The Bank of Utah is certainly no Wells Fargo. The Ogden-based community bank has all of 13 branches including

MOKPO/JINDO, South Korea — Divers searching for survivors of a capsized South Korean ferry saw three bodies floating through a window of a passenger cabin on Saturday but were unable to retrieve them, the coastguard said, hours after the ship´s captain was arrested. The ferry, carrying 476 passengers, many of them schoolchildren, and crew, capsized on Wednesday on a journey from the port of Incheon to the southern holiday island of Jeju. Some 174 people have been rescued and hopes were fading for those still missing. The divers saw the bodies in a submerged cabin where many of the children

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
