´Today Show´ Omits Homophobia
From Alec Baldwin Twitter-Rant Report

Breitbart Big Journalism, by John Nolte

A copy of the tweets can be seen here. *content warning* 0The same "Today Show" that has been blistering Paula Deen for over a week, made absolutely no mention of the homophobic nature of actor Alec Baldwin´s tweets in their Friday report about his latest Twitter-rant. In fact, Matt Lauer said Baldwin "was right." [Video] Alec Baldwin is a well-known Democrat and supporter of President Obama´s. He also starred in the low-rated NBC sitcom "30 Rock," until it was cancelled last year.

I´ve been reading reports that Paul Deen´s publisher has dropped her and will not be publishing her book. If this is true, I have a feeling this will be the spark that will create a backlash against the politically correct media. If she self-publishes, I will buy ten of her cook books and give them as gifts at Christmas.

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon has proposed to President Obama that 10,000 American troops remain in Afghanistan when the international combat mission there ends after this year, or none at all, senior government officials said Tuesday. That figure, debated in recent days within the White House, is the midpoint of a range of 8,000 to 12,000 troops — most of them Americans — that has been contemplated for months as the United States and its NATO allies planned for the long mission’s end. Anything less than that, the officials said, would be too few to be able to protect the reduced

Several years ago, I was consulted by a young woman who was 33 weeks pregnant and was on her way to Kansas get an abortion. I informed her of the multiple options available to her outside of abortion and she decided to go through with the pregnancy even though the child had hydrocephalus and required neurosurgical intervention after birth a few weeks later. She kept the baby and loves the beautiful child that has resulted. A couple of decades ago, I came into the pediatric Intensive Care Unit on morning rounds and was told about a four-year-old girl who had

Higher-income Americans hit

Higher-income Americans and some legally married same-sex couples are likely to feel the biggest hits from tax law changes when they file their returns in the next month or two. Taxpayers also will have a harder time taking medical deductions this year. In other changes, the tax rate tables and the standard deduction have been adjusted for inflation, as has the maximum contribution to retirement accounts, including 401(k) plans and Individual Retirement Accounts. The Alternative Minimum Tax has been patched -- permanently -- to prevent more middle-income taxpayers from being drawn in. And starting with the 2013 tax year, there´s

After he and his wife were indicted on fourteen felony counts Tuesday, former Virginia Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell said that he was being charged based on a "misguided legal theory" that would implicate President Barack Obama and nearly every other elected official were it applied as the law of the land. Appearing with his wife, daughter, and son-in-law to address the media hours after the indictment, McDonnell, who is the first Virginia governor to face criminal charges and will be arraigned in Richmond Friday, said he was "falsely accused," that his public service has been "wrongly attacked," and that he would

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Republican Gov. Rick Scott said Tuesday he will vote against a proposed constitutional amendment to allow the medical use of marijuana if it makes the 2014 ballot. "I have a great deal of empathy for people battling difficult diseases and I understand arguments in favor of this initiative. But, having seen the terrible effects of alcohol and drug abuse first-hand, I cannot endorse sending Florida down this path and I would personally vote against it," Scott said through a spokeswoman. Equal protection under the law for pre-born human beings is headed our way — and from the work of a surprising demographic: adults younger than 30. A 28-year-old dynamo working on college campuses across the nation, Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins, exemplifies why hers is the “pro-life generation.” Ms. Hawkins feels deeply the loss of nearly one-third of her age group. “The undeniable fact is that nearly a third of my generation was killed by abortion. It is not as though the media would have to quit their ongoing political assassination of Chris Christie to give the brewing scandal surrounding Texas Democrat Wendy Davis´s bio falsehoods the attention it deserves. The media can do two things at once. But other than clearing the way for President-in-waiting Hillary Clinton, the media is desperately circling the wagons to downplay a legitimate scandal that could take down a rising Democrat star. For two days now, NBC´s Chuck Todd has failed to mention the scandal even once during his hour-long MSNBC political show "The Daily Rundown."

The world’s richest 85 people control the same amount of wealth as the total held by half the world’s population, according to a report issued today by the British-based anti-poverty charity Oxfam. The means the world’s poorest 3,550,000,000 (3.55 billion) people must live on what the richest 85 possess. Another way to look at it: Each of the wealthiest 85 Earthlings has access to the resources available to about 42 million of the world’s poor, a population equal to the total number of people living in Canada, with those all those from Kentucky and Kansas tossed in.

Older people do not decline mentally with age, it just takes them longer to recall facts because they have more information in their brains, scientists believe. Much like a computer struggles as the hard drive gets full up, so to do humans take longer to access information, it has been suggested. Researchers say this slowing down it is not the same as cognitive decline. “The human brain works slower in old age,” said Dr. Michael Ramscar, “but only because we have stored more information over time. “The brains of older people do not get weak. Time Magazine’s current cover depicts a tiny man hanging onto the heel of a shoe that’s emerging from a pant-suit wearing leg. “Can Anyone Stop Hillary?” reads the accompanying text. Maybe, if the cover also showed her tripping over the Senate Intelligence Committee’s just-released report on the attack that killed four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, while she was secretary of state. If New Jersey Governor Chris Christie must answer for four days of traffic jams on roads leading to the George Washington Bridge, surely Clinton has the same obligation to address a deadly assault that the bipartisan committee found “preventable.”
