Former US general James Cartwright
named in Stuxnet leak inquiry

Guardian (UK), by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 6/28/2013 7:01:49 AM

A retired US general, James Cartwright, is the target of a Justice Department investigation into the leaking of secret information about the Stuxnet virus attack on Iranian nuclear facilities in 2010, NBC News reported on Thursday, citing unidentified legal sources.NBC said Cartwright, once the second highest ranking officer in the US military, was being investigated over the leaked information about the computer virus, which temporarily disabled 1,000 centrifuges used by Iran to enrich uranium, setting back its nuclear programme.

So, what ws the motive here, just to suck up to some twenty-something New York Times reporter? Maybe if this four-star general gives this kid enough info, maybe, just maybe the kid will like him. Pathetic.

The headline for this article and the content for the article really don´t match up. In the article it states that Cartwright is the "target" for the leak but then doesn´t proceed to explain why or even make a case for him being the leaker. Republicans contended all along that Administration officials (aka, political operatives) leaked it to boost Obama´s national security creds. The only thing from the article about Cartwright is this:

The Times said Cartwright was one of the crucial players who had to break the news to Obama and vice-president Joe Biden that Stuxnet had escaped onto the internet.

An element of the program accidentally became public in the summer of 2010 because of a programming error that allowed it to escape Iran´s Natanz plant and sent it out on the internet, the Times reported. After the worm escaped, top administration officials met to consider whether the program had been fatally compromised.

Sounds to me like General Cartwright is being set up...but we´ll have to wait and see.

How much time and effort was done in the name of getting Obama elected in 2012? If we put all of these things together, one must come to the conclusion that the purpose of the entire 1st term of Obama was to create a false narrative to create a second term. Absolutely frightening.

Isn´t Cartwright a "creepy-a** cracker" in today´s world? Sorry, I tried to read the article, but I got halfway through it and didn´t see the point of what the Guardian was trying to say about him. I can only conclude from the murky article that #2 is correct: General Cartwright is being set up...but we´ll have to wait and see.
