A secretive data collection program run by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau allows private contractors access to millions of Americans’ personal financial information, according to a government accountability group. The information may also be shared with other federal agencies. Documents obtained by Washington-based Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act illustrate the cost and scope of the program, which business groups and some Republican lawmakers have assailed as invasive and potentially illegal. The Daily Caller News Foundation previously reported how the CFPB compelled banks to comply with the program by making successful passage of routine inspections
The mandated electronic medical record (EMR) of Obamacare and CMS, sold as necessary for quality of care and efficiency, is neither of those, but instead a federal portal into your private health matters. In one stroke, Doctor-patient privilege in America is no more.
Thank you, faithful Democrat voters, for destroying the America we all grew up in. I hope you like the one you have replaced it with.

The CFPB is a creation of Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. After using the Community Reinvestment Act to bludgeon banks into making very risky loans, which lead to the over inflation and ultimate collapse of the Real Estate Market, these two liberals decided that the problem was the greedy banks that enticed those poor people into taking out those risky loans.
So yet another bureaucracy was created to fix disasters created by their previous ´good works´. So now we find out the the minions of Lucifer are trolling through this data pile as well? REALLY? I´m shocked, NOT!
I feel the chorus of a song coming on. Everybody all together now: ´´Getting to know you, getting to know all about you.´´ Anytime I read or hear about more government snooping now, I´ll be humming this tune . . . and it won´t sound pleasant. I hope I can keep the lyrics from turning blue.
In re #5 et al, it wasn´t just the lo fo dim voters who brought this travesty upon us. It was also independent and pubbie voters who were upset that their candidate did not get nominated. Emotions were high and folks simply decided to make a statement and not vote.
Don´t get me wrong, I´m having no love affair with the pubbie party right now, but, it was more important for me, anyway, to at least try controlling the bleeding with Romney and remove Obie and his clones. Romney a RINO, yep. But, at least he could have slowed people down long enough so they could smell the coffee as to what is happening and wake them up.
Many elections and a major re-awakening in this country will be needed to right the ship. But, unfortunately, I do not see this re-awakening happening until more Americans find themselves living in misery and reject this as the new norm.
#9. There may be some validity in your assesment of why conservatives did not come out an vote. But, you cannot explain Obama´s reelection without at least mentioning the neutralization of the Tea Party that was so effective at turning out conservatives just two years before.
Gee, I´d like to post what I really think about the Obama Administration, but the snoop-contractors might find it in my file and get me for the "crime" of disrespecting Dear Leader.
All kidding aside, our country is rapidly devolving into a repressive society. How long will it be before the Obama "gestapo" come to our homes in the middle of the night on the suspicion that we are what?...Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, Jews, white, wanna-be constitutional scholars?
The Obama administration´s promise: We will work to make it easy for you to kill your unborn children with no restrictions whatsoever at any filthy, unregulated clinic of your choosing. In return, you allow us access to and control of every other minute detail of your lives.
Being in Obama ´s America today feels very much like being in that hijacked plane with Todd Beamer sitting next to you and asking, "do we let them crash this into their intended target, or do we act and take them down before they reach their objective"?
Obama finds it necessary to snoop through the details of what we have earned. Yet he feels free to help himself to millions of dollars of our money that he hasn´t earned and never will. Even the money he made from his books was "earned" by Bill Ayers. This man has posted murder, theft and treason on his empty resume, all since 2008.
Communication records, financial records and medical records are now public information. When are the lawyers going to be tapped for all of the confidential legal information in the country, or am I too late in speculating that?
Good point, #10, but at the same time.. Hussein could have been defeated only with the help of all Republicans & conservatives, so it´s just a stultifying fact that any conservative would sit out a presidential election in this day and time no matter what - or go third-party (which = a vote for the Dems). I mean - how could one equate him to Romney or any RINO when Obama makes even Clinton or almost any other Dem look half-decent?!
Pardon a second post, but I wanted to give kudos to #15. What a great comparison!! We, in that "plane", need to throw every obstacle we can in the hijackers´ way, no matter what our physical condition. We all have a role to play in saving our country from destruction by these evil people who have overpowered us.
Some of us are 50+ and some of us are younger, but we all must get the word out that the Light we followed as a nation and which guided us through not only the founding of this great country but also through dreadful wars is being extinguished by those who hate the Light and love the darkness.
I refuse to believe that the Light can be extinguished but our hearts must be revived with optimism and courage. Not being afraid to speak out against the "darkness" in forums such as Lucianne.com is one way to let others know the truth and to not feel so alone. There are still heroes out there with courage and great ability to use the tools our Founding Fathers gave us for such times.
Years ago, I opened a credit card bill and found that someone had been living large on my tab.
I protested the charges, they were investigated by the fraud department of the card company, and removed. But I was never told who the fraudster was, where they were located, and how they got my number.
Without that information, I constantly am waiting for the other shoe to drop. Who was it, where did they get my account numbers, and what else do they have?
We all will be living with this fear every day for the rest of our lives, thanks to Obama and his policies.
Look at what they did to the TEA Party. Next time don´t be lulled into merely creating a grass roots organization . Grass roots at about 8 in deep die when the water is turned off just like the Tea Party has nearly failed without deeper focus and funds. Go back and clean the trash away from the Tree of Liberty and let tap roots spread out far into the soil again. Paymore attention to critter candidates who chop off their own roots with unacceptable one issue mentality.
WASHINGTON -- An American who vanished nearly seven years ago in Iran was working for the CIA on an unapproved intelligence-gathering mission that, when it came to light inside the government, produced one of the most serious scandals in the recent history of the CIA - but all in secret, an Associated Press investigation found. The CIA paid Robert Levinson´s family $2.5 million to head off a revealing lawsuit. Three veteran analysts were forced out of the agency and seven others were disciplined. The U.S. publicly has described Levinson as a private citizen.
The powerful uncle of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been executed as a "traitor for all ages," the official news agency reported. Jang Song Thaek faced a special military tribunal Thursday and was convicted of "anti-party, counter-revolutionary factional acts" in a bid to overthrow the the communist country´s leadership, KCNA reported Friday in Pyongyang. The state news agency did not say when or how Jang was killed. North Korean media reported Monday that Jang had been purged for crimes that included faction-building, corruption, drug use and womanizing. He was considered the country´s most powerful figure after his nephew. State TV aired
Not only could you "shoot your eye out, kid," you might also go to jail for owning that BB gun in certain states. New Jersey and other jurisdictions make little or no distinction between Daisy´s classic Red Ryder BB gun immortalized in the film "A Christmas Story," and real guns. They must be registered and are subject to the same laws as any firearms. “In all honesty, kids who are charged are looking at mandatory jail time,” said New Jersey attorney William Proetta, adding that under the state’s Graves Act, a conviction could lead to prison time. “The only defense is to
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced this morning that nearly 365,000 Americans had signed up for private health insurance under Obamacare. The vast majority came from 14 states running their own insurance exchanges, while 137,000 came by way of HealthCare.gov, the much-faulted federal Web site that handles enrollment for the remaining states. But amid the rush to enroll as many people as possible by the Dec. 23 deadline, there’s a huge caveat that isn’t getting much public attention: For coverage to take effect on Jan. 1, enrollees must pay their first month’s premium on time. (The deadline varies
If you like your selfie, you can keep your selfie. Period. Unless, of course, you’re Barack Obama, in which case, you better delete it from your smartphone pronto, unless you’d like to spend the next three or four months dining on hot tongue and cold shoulder. You didn’t need a fake interpreter from an old Woody Allen movie to translate Moochelle Obama’s body language. So there they were, Barry, British Prime Minister David Cameron and the hot-wife leader of Denmark, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, hamming it up like it was the 25th anniversary reunion of the Choom Gang. Some Krazy Kids, horsing around, waiting for
The British security firm that failed to protect the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, from a terrorist attack a year ago that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens was told by the State Department to avoid the media, the latest example of stonewalling over the attack. In newly uncovered emails received by the public watchdog group Judicial Watch, State was notified that the firm, Blue Mountain Group, was being pressed for answers about the surprise attack. Instead of giving the group the green light to answer the media, State ordered the firm to go into hiding. “Thank you so much for informing us about
Regularly scheduled elections are a hallmark of the American political system. In 18th-century Britain, the monarch could call new elections on a whim, and our Founders saw in that arrangement a seed of tyranny. The Constitution they designed requires elections for Congress every two years, and the next such elections are less than a year away. This is good news for conservatives as they continue to oppose the Obama administration. This president has been tremendously helped by having a Democratic-controlled Senate for his first five years in office. Harry Reid’s masterful, if not entirely virtuous, use of Senate rules has
The gangster state of North Korea became a nuclear power in 2006–07, despite lots of foreign aid aimed at precluding just such proliferation — help usually not otherwise accorded such a loony dictatorship. Apparently the civilized world rightly suspected that, if nuclear, Pyongyang would either export nuclear material and expertise to other unstable countries, or bully its successful but non-nuclear neighbors — or both. The United States has given billions of dollars in foreign aid to Pakistan, whose Islamist gangs have spearheaded radical anti-American terrorism. Ever since a corrupt Pakistan went nuclear in 1998, it has been able to extort such
After three months and more than 50 phone calls, John Gisler gave up on buying coverage through HealthCare.gov. Gisler wanted to purchase a plan for his 45-year-old son, who has a rare degenerative condition affecting his coordination and speech. His current coverage through Utah’s high-risk insurance pool plan ends Dec. 31. By that time, the Obama administration expects enrollees to transition into health plans sold through the new health-care law. But so far, Gisler hasn’t succeeded in purchasing coverage -- but not for a lack of effort. “We’ve had three separate applications that failed to make it through,” Gisler says. “I have a
Remember when Bill Clinton was twice elected President as a "New Democrat" who wanted to get along with people in the private economy? Nowadays even writing in favor of ideas that Mr. Clinton supported can get you branded a heretic and banished from impolite liberal society. Witness the political tempest that blew up in response to the December 3 op-ed we published by Democrats Jon Cowan and Jim Kessler of the Third Way think tank. The former aides to Andrew Cuomo and Chuck Schumer, respectively, would be considered liberals in most places outside of the Harvard faculty lounge. But the campus
Maybe he went into sugar shock over a Danish pastry. The president of the United States, leader of the free world, standard-bearer for everything upright, good and wholesome about the nation he leads, lost his morality, his dignity and his mind, using the solemn occasion of Nelson Mandela’s memorial service Tuesday to act like a hormone-ravaged frat boy on a road trip to a strip bar. In front of 91 world leaders, the mourning nation of South Africa and Obama’s clearly furious wife, Michelle, the president flirted, giggled, whispered like a recalcitrant child and made a damn fool of himself at first
Washington -- A handful of Republican Party officials is quietly advancing a new batch of rules aimed at streamlining a chaotic presidential nominating process that many party insiders viewed as damaging to the their campaign for the White House in 2012, multiple GOP sources told CNN. In a series of closed-door meetings since August, handpicked members of the Republican National Committee have been meeting with party Chairman Reince Priebus in Washington to hash out details of a sweeping plan to condense the nominating calendar, severely punish primary and caucus states that upend the agreed-upon voting order and potentially move the party´s
New York — The anchor who might beat Bill O’Reilly gets her eyelash extensions applied one at a time, with tweezers and dabs of glue, about 90 minutes before showtime, right after a motorized gun sprays foundation over her face, neck, shoulders, collarbone and sternum, wiping out a galaxy of light freckles that spreads across her — Let me stop you right there. Photos of the day Uruguay legalizes marijuana, Kiev police pull back from protesters, aging U.S. prison population and more. Tuesday´s Photos of the day Would you write this way about a man? About O’Reilly himself? At least that’s what Megyn Kelly might ask at
In August 2013 I became very sick with what I thought was a cold. After a few days I lost vision in my left eye and I checked into the hospital. I soon found out that what I thought was a summer cold was actually Strep bacteria poisoning my blood stream. The bacteria blinded my left eye, ate a hole through my heart, caused five strokes on both sides of my brain and forced the removal of my prosthetic left knee. Dr. Lee was the surgeon assigned to perform open heart surgery. What was originally scheduled to last four hours ended
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
The health director who approved the release of President Obama’s birth certificate has died in a plane crash, Hawaiian officials said Thursday. Loretta Fuddy died after the Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft she was travelling on went down shortly after leaving Kalaupapa Airport at around 3:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) on Wednesday. The other eight people on board were rescued, Richard Schuman, president of Makani Kai Air, told NBC News early Thursday, adding that that there was no indication as to why the plane had crashed. Fuddy hit the headlines two years ago when she approved a waiver request allowing Obama to
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
Views of the tea party are at all-time lows in a new poll, as primary challenges to establishment Republicans continue to heat up Washington. Just 30 percent of Americans view the tea party favorably in a new Gallup poll released Wednesday, the movement’s lowest point since Gallup began polling about it during its rise in 2010. Also in a first, a majority of Americans had an unfavorable view of the tea party, at 51 percent. Similar numbers of respondents described themselves as proponents or opponents of the tea party: Twenty-two percent identified themselves as tea party supporters, while 24 percent said they
Looks like this president can’t get away with flirting in front of his wife… It appears that first lady Michelle Obama was none too pleased with the way that President Barack Obama was acting toward Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt during a ceremony honoring Nelson Mandela, and before too long, they switched seats. This lmao! Michelle Obama vs Prime Minister of Denmark at Mandela´s ceremony. pic.twitter.com/Rq4uF9fTaZ — Stun (@TheBlogPirate) December 10, 2013
The sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela´s memorial yesterday "made up his own signs," according to South Africa´s deaf federation. "He´s a complete fraud," Cara Loening, director of Sign Language Education and Development in Cape Town, said according to ITV News. "He wasn´t even doing anything, There was not one sign there. Nothing. He was literally flapping his arms around." Delphin Hlungwane, an official South African sign language interpreter at DeafSA, told Reuters:
THE Internet has been abuzz over the spectacle of President Obama and the prime ministers of Britain and Denmark snapping a photo of themselves — a “selfie,” to use the mot du jour — with a smartphone at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela in South Africa on Tuesday. Leaving aside whether it was appropriate, the moment captured the democratization of image making that is a hallmark of our gadget-filled, technologically rich era. Manifestly undemocratic, in contrast, is the way Mr. Obama’s administration — in hypocritical defiance of the principles of openness and transparency he campaigned on — has systematically tried
If you go down on the ice today you´re sure of a big surprise - a rare glimpse of 20 polar bears gorging on a bloody midnight feast. These photographs show a rare cluster of males, females and cubs all dining out on the remains of a whale carcass. They spent a night and a day stripping every last morsel from the mammoth sea creature. Usually Polar bears are solitary and would never tolerate being so close to each other. But with food in plentiful supply and bellies dragging on the floor they seem too lethargic to fight.Wildlife photographer Michal
