Star Prosecution Witness To
Zimmerman’s Lawyer: My Culture
Regularly Calls White People ‘Crackers’

Mediaite, by Andrew Kirell

As #CrackerGate seemingly came to a close during today’s edition of the George Zimmerman murder trial, star witness Rachel Jeantel told the defense lawyer during cross-examination that it is the norm within her local community to call white people “crackers.” The derogatory term for white people had become a focus of the Zimmerman defense team after Jeantel told the court on Wednesday that the late Trayvon Martin had referred to the defendant as a “creepy-ass cracker” shortly before his own death. Defense lawyer Don West continually grilled Jeantel over various questions related to Martin’s use of the word, ultimately culminating

Wow! The evidence of racism in this trial is against Trayvon, not Zimmerman. Why did the prosecution put this pathetic woman on the stand? Don´t they have anything better than this?

They put her on the stand because she is all they got.

The entire purpose of this prosecution and the inevitable acquittal by a mostly white jury is to keep lo info black voters like the star witness riled up to vote Democrat.

I´m watching full coverage of this trial. I actually felt sorry for Rachel this morning when she had to admit that she can´t read, or write, cursive. She is 19, and will be a Senior in high school next fall. This is sad!

I think the defense did a great job punching holes in the prosecution´s case. The JUDGE did everything in her power to keep them from doing that. Very obvious that the judge either is afraid for her life, or in the pocket of the State!

The most stunning to everyone, including the legal commentators, was the fact that the first time Rachel was interviewed by the State, she was interviewed in the HOME OF Trayvon´s MOTHER. The mother sat next to her during the whole interview. Some think this will be grounds for a retrial. ALL of the attorneys interviewed said they had NEVER heard of anyone ever allowed to do this! Talk about BIAS!

Of all of the lies that Rachel/Dee-Dee has told --and they are numerous, the biggest of all was when the Defense attorney pointed out the difference in her attitude today in contrast to yesterday; he asked her if anyone had talked to her last night, and she answered --in her demur, respectful way, "No, sir."

You can bet she was not only talked to, but she was talked to by more than one person, and I can guarantee you, it wasn´t pretty.

Sample:

She couldn´t fog a mirror in a 4x4 bathroom, so there should be no worry about notoriety from the trial keeping her from a MacArthur grant or Turing Prize.

#7: For the most part, you could delete "ghetto" from your observation.

#8: Considering her "educational accomplishments," her school district might as well take $20 bills from the taxpayers and dump them on a bonfire as keep Jeantel in the classroom.

Speaking of which... one must wonder if, indeed, the left tail of a certain Bell curve might violate the requirement for a left limit of zero. Can a person owe IQ points? Or is that question answered [affirmatively] in the asking?

He´ll get convicted of manslaughter or reckless endangerment or something. Anything to keep the riots to a manageable level.

As far how this woman is perceived by the jurors, does anyone really think that the all-female jurists believe that she is being truthful? Tough crowd to convince, IMO. She´d have better luck with male jurors, but I´m sure the women jurists are more attune to the veracity of her testimony.

What kind of "cracker" is an "oyster cracker"?

What kind of "cracker" is a "creepy-ass cracker"?

Florida natives are referred to as ´crackers´ because they cracked a whip when they drove their cattle, but I don´t think TM and Ms. Jeantel were referring to that kind of ´cracker.´

Also, she said she heard ´get off ...´ a comment by one watching the trial said the black urban dictionary or something said ´get off the gate´ means go fight. Wonder if she didn´t hear the rest of what TM said. Jack Cashill did an excellent article on TM´ last hour maybe back in March. I saw it referenced today and actually re-read it. Worth a read.

No matter what the evidence shows, no matter how rancid the prosecution´s case, the ghetto gonna explode if Z walks. Innocence doesn´t matter, only racial guilt, and racial guilt says the white/whitish person is always wrong even if right.

When I was a little girl the black community designated they be called Negros---meaning black. They demeaned that by calling their own people N-words.
How do we eliminate all the racial and ethnic labels? Simple Drop all of them and use only one --- Americans. No past nationality added.
This minority group will not do that because their politicos glean too much unearned money pushing them.

FREEHOLD — A family is suing a New Jersey school district, contending that the phrase "under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance is discriminatory toward atheist children. The lawsuit against the Matawan-Aberdeen Regional School District was filed in state court last month and announced Monday by the American Humanist Association. In the budget proposal he presented to Congress last month, President Barack Obama called for what would be the highest level of sustained taxation ever imposed on the American people, according to the analysis published last week by the Congressional Budget Office. Under Obama’s proposal, taxes would rise from 17.6 percent of Gross Domestic Product in 2014 to 19.2 percent in 2024. During the ten years from 2015 to 2024, federal taxation would average 18.7 percent GDP. America has never been subjected to a ten-year stretch of taxation at that level.

Moreover, all around him are astonishing opportunities for him to be an historic figure -- one who could and should be the man who did more than any other single person in turning back the red tide of Obama. It’s all there for Speaker of the House, and yet John Boehner manages to miss

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

Joan Eisenstodt didn´t have a stopwatch when she went to see an ear, nose and throat specialist recently, but she is certain the physician was not in the exam room with her for more than three or four minutes. "He looked up my nose, said it was inflamed, told me to see the nurse for a prescription and was gone," said the 66-year-old Washington, D.C., consultant, who was suffering from an acute sinus infection. When she started protesting the doctor´s choice of medication, "He just cut me off totally," she said. "I´ve never been in and out from a visit faster." These days,

Harry Reid isn’t backing down from his claim that rancher Cliven Bundy’s supporters are “domestic terrorists.” It’s astonishing rhetoric given the White House’s characterization of the mass shooting by a genuine terrorist, Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 Americans at the Fort Hood Army base after yelling “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great.) Rather than labeling Hasan’s actions “domestic terrorism,” the Obama administration is prosecuting him for having committed “workplace violence.” Democratic rhetoric is become ever more desperate and overheated as we approach the November midterm elections. Last week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that GOP positions on immigration were motivated by

Perhaps the most remarkable feature of American democracy is the magnificent estate of public land that it reserved from the very beginning for the use of all citizens, rich or poor. There is nothing like it in the democracies of Europe, which came into being with nations already carved up into private fiefdoms. The Great Idea that hundreds of millions of acres of forests, deserts, rivers and prairies should be owned by, and managed for, the public interest has had a profound and lasting influence on American culture. But not everyone has accepted it. Cliven Bundy’s armed standoff with the National Park

At a petite 5’3’’, Sage Santangelo may not look like a combat fighter at first glance. But the female second lieutenant has never let that hold her back from pursuing her dream of becoming an infantry officer in the Marine Corps. Growing up, Santangelo found she was always able to keep up with the guys and enjoyed playing hockey on all boys’ teams. But when she joined the Marines, Santangelo found the playing field changed; she was segregated into female-only training units and as a woman, was relegated to less strenuous physical training than her male counterparts. And that’s why,

"No, absolutely not," the November midterm election is not a referendum on President Obama and his policies, Democrat Party Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) told NBC´s "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "[T]hese elections, particularly the Senate elections, are referendums on the candidates running," she said. Asked about vulnerable Democrats who have criticized President Obama´s flawed healthcare law, Wasserman Schultz said they are running their own race. "They have to talk about and focus on the issues that are important to their constituents. And what´s also true is, if you look at the success rate and the track record of

In an op-ed published in the Boston Globe on Easter Sunday and posted on the State Department website, Secretary of State John Kerry recalled his days as an altar boy and pointed out that he is “the first Catholic Secretary of State in 33 years.” Alexander Haig, who served as secretary of state to President Ronald Reagan from January 1981 to July 1982, was also a Catholic. Last month, I traveled to Rome with President Obama, where I was honored to meet His Holiness Pope Francis,” said Kerry. “As an altar boy six decades ago, I never imagined that I

Suppose a scientific conference on cancer prevention never addressed smoking, on the grounds that in a free society you can´t change private behavior, and anyway, maybe the statistical relationships between smoking and cancer are really caused by some other third variable. Wouldn´t some suspect that the scientists who raised these claims were driven by something—ideology, tobacco money—other than science? Yet in the current discussions about increased inequality, few researchers, fewer reporters, and no one in the executive branch of government directly addresses what seems to be the strongest statistical correlate of inequality in the United States: the rise of single-parent

In internal government documents with potential repercussions for the 2016 presidential election, top officials at the U.S. Agency for International Development repeatedly cited former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton for setting into motion a policy to waive restrictions on who could receive U.S. aid in Afghanistan, resulting in millions of dollars in U.S. funds going directly into the coffers of Afghan ministries known to be rife with corruption. References to Mrs. Clinton’s role in the policy first appeared in a November 2012 USAID action memo, which outlined how U.S. officials made a “strategic foreign-assistance

An unholy alliance between the Tea Party and the teachers’ unions threatens to derail the most promising education reform in decades. Like Rocky in the early rounds, the new Common Core math and reading standards are being pummeled left and right. From the left: Education icon Diane Ravitch says the Common Core represents a “utilitarian view of education” that is too focused on testing, data, and accountability. From the right, “ObamaCore” is denounced as federal intrusion. Heritage Foundation education fellow Lindsey Burke calls it “an effort to impose a uniform, standardized curriculum across the country.” From the further right, the always

What are the chances that Bernardine Dohrn, the wife of Bill Ayres, and a principal signatory on the Weather Underground´s "Declaration of a State of War" in May 1970 could be appointed as a judge in a Federal Court? Dohrn graduated with honors with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and subsequently graduated from the University of Chicago Law School. Until August 2013, she was a clinical Associate Professor of Law at Northwestern University School of Law. Bernardine Dohrn´s resume is almost as appealing as the President´s resume when he was elected to the presidency.
