Obama clashes with African
host over gay rights

Associated Press, by Nedra Pickler

Original Article

Posted By:jackson, 6/27/2013 10:30:10 AM

DAKAR, Senegal (AP) -- President Barack Obama on Thursday praised the Supreme Court´s ruling on same-sex marriage as a "victory for American democracy" but clashed with his African host over gay rights in a sign of how far the movement has to go internationally. Obama said recognition of gay unions in the United States should cross state lines and that equal rights should be recognized universally. It was his first chance to expand on his thoughts about the ruling, which was issued Wednesday as he flew to Senegal, one of many African countries that outlaw homosexuality.

Comments:
Ha, ha, ha! Mr. Meaningless-Phrase hits a new low. Barry, "American democracy" was defeated - rule of robed lawyers was "victorious". Obama is embarrassingly stupid.

How deep does his chutzpah go?

But Obama said he wants to send a message to Africans that while he respects differing personal and religious views on the matter, it´s important to have nondiscrimination under the law.

No, he doesn´t "respect differing personal and religious views". If he did, he wouldn´t have such animosity toward Catholics and Christians in general, nor would he presume to tell other heads of State how to run their countries.

The "under the law" part is a hoot. Under whose law? O forgot that Senegal´s law prohibits homosexuality. Did he think it was somehow a movement in Senegal to legalize gay marriage or something?

Why doesn´t Obama go to Muslim countries with the same pro-gay message?

When you let your mother-in-law pick the countries that she wants to tour, this is what happens. Mrs. Robinson, Mooch´s mom, surely has a world map on the wall of her WH residence. Whenever she visits a country under the guise of a presidential junket, she puts a red pin in the map. Revisits get silver and gold pins. For this trip, Mrs R selected Senegal, Tanzania (2 reds) and a revisit of South Africa (silver for 2nd time). Mrs R. arranged the first South African junket for the Mooch, her adult son, and their children and friends in 2011, with an Air Force jet flying Greg Robinson and his kids back to Spokane when the posse returned to Andrews AFB.

Mrs R has lots of pins to push into that map between now and January, 2017. Hey, if the IRS can have expensive parties, shouldn´t the First Mother-in-Law?

At the time, many in the MSM lauded Bill Clinton the first “black” president in much the same way that the rainbow movement now regards Barack Obama as the first “gay” president. Hillary now appears to be angling to become the first “child” president. Too bad we can only elect one Democrat president at a time, or we could actually have a president for all of us at the same time.

I do not think the Africans want to be lectured about gay stuff. They have some other pressing concerns that are more of a priority. Hunger, disease, child soldiers, Islamic genocide of others come to mind. On the other hand, Obama just cannot help himself when it comes to promoting gay stuff.

The whole gay marriage push is inherently, deliberately, and preemptively dismissive of the child´s rights. You want to talk about "equality?" --- How about every child´s equal right to his father and mother?

As the French natural family campaigners chanted in the Paris street a million strong:

There are many reasons why this infatuation with all things gay that permeates the press and US Political life doesn´t play well in other places

America’s top selling non-fiction book has much to teach about Wall Street malfeasance, but it also offers an intriguing perspective on diversity. The hero of Michael Lewis’ “Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt” is Brad Katsuyama, a Canadian-born investment banker for the Royal Bank Canada who transfers to RBC’s New York office. When he gets to the United States, the book explains, Katsuyama not only ultimately uncovers how high frequency trading is corrupting the stock market, he also becomes aware of his minority status for the first time in his life. “In the United States, Brad also noticed, he was expected to

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has started, over the past few weeks, to ratchet up talk of a potential presidential run in 2016. If that´s the case, the reaction he received this weekend at a gathering of conservatives in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire was not what he was looking for. Bush served as a punch line for — of all people — Donald Trump. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
