Piers Morgan: Rush Limbaugh is
‘Too Old and Too Boring’

Newsbusters, by Noel Sheppard

Original Article

Posted By:Spinmaster, 6/27/2013 1:20:21 AM

Piers Morgan normally gets around 500,000 people to watch his pathetic show on CNN. Despite this, the man few Americans actually know by name had the nerve to say Wednesday that conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh is “too old and too boring” to be a regular on CNN’s revival of Crossfire. After playing a clip from a 1990 Crossfire featuring Limbaugh, Morgan said: From 1990 that´s Crossfire with a younger Rush Limbaugh making his case as a guest. Tonight the great news is that he’s not back on Crossfire. He´s too old and too boring.

Comments:
This would be a perfect commercial for Crossfire, had it featured Rush, or better yet for a new Rush Limbaugh show opposite Piers Morgan.

I seem to recall reading that Rush´s radio audience is something like twenty million listeners a week.

He is so boring his audience is about 50 times larger than Piers´. So, what does that make Mr. Morgan?

Insignificant!

Piers? What kind of a name is Piers? Is it some sort of a wharfing location where wayward ships dock and prostitutes ply their trade? I had to turn off America´s Got Talent because he was a self proclaimed judge of talent when his talent was much lacking. Rush, Old and Boring? Yet this man Rush, caused many to rethink their affiliation with the Good Old Party because that party had become to self centered to do the wishes of those who had once trusted them to stand up of God, country and motherhood. Sorry, but Piers doesn´t even equate to anything, person or place in this reader´s mind. Rush, on the other hand has given many years of commentary that has caused some serious thought challenges which have lead to a change in this readers mind to seriously look fothe man who will stand up for God, country and motherhood.

The Conservative talk show hosts (Limbaugh included) may not be too old or too boring, but they have become irrelevant.

NONE of them could help get a republican elected-TWICE ! Against what will most surely be the worst president in American history !!

I fear the days of a republican president are over.

#10 - even the most dynamic radio personality can´t overcome a candidate´s weaknesses, and the last two Republican nominees were extremely weak. The Republican party will continue to wander in the wilderness until they stand for something other than democrat lite.

Media in China are celebrating the nation´s economic progress on National Day, but also highlight the need for more social reforms. On the 64th founding anniversary of the People´s Republic of China, The Beijing News praises the country´s economic might, but adds that the government needs to do more to protect citizens´ rights. "An imperfect legal system can hardly protect citizens´ private property, which has led to a serious erosion of society´s sense of trust and has also exacerbated public anxiety about fairness and impartiality," it says. The paper adds that China is "increasingly facing serious

This amazing CNN news story by reporter Zain Asher should be required viewing for the GOP House caucus. It’s about efforts to educated uninsured families in New Jersey about Obamacare, and it illustrates how little the Affordable Care Act’s biggest beneficiaries know about the new program. To put it another way, folks aren’t exactly jumping up and down at the prospect of access to health care. Watch Jose Menendez, as he asks, ”I have a question. Who created this affordable health care plan that you’re speaking about?” Asher tells him Congress passed the measure. Menendez says,

Yesterday, 25 Senate Republicans stood shoulder to shoulder with their Democrat counterparts and helped the Continuing Budget Resolution pass cloture. Despite Ted Cruz’s efforts, and his warning that “a vote for cloture was a vote for Obamacare,” Lindsey Graham was eager to join hands and sing Cumbaya with his alleged Dem opponents. With the help of people like Graham, the CR easily passed cloture, allowing Harry Reid to introduce an amendment restoring funding for Obamacare. The amendment passed with a simple 51 vote majority. This time, since his vote was now a meaningless gesture,

New York -- Is Rush Limbaugh becoming a relic, a human version of "Mad Men," except without the style or cool clothes? Has Limbaugh become as dated as Jazzercise or "Macarena?" All you need to do is look at the bottom line to see that Limbaugh is in trouble. Limbaugh once raked in the big bucks for his radio syndicator, Cumulus. But last week, Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey made it clear those days are over. Dickey reported that Cumulus had lost millions of dollars in ad sales because many advertisers no longer want to be associated with Limbaugh.

Tyrone Freeman, who represented about 190,000 homecare workers as a leader of the Service Employees International Union, was found guilty on 14 counts after a 10-day trial in Los Angeles. Jurors deliberated two and a half days before returning their verdict. The trial followed a nearly four-year investigation triggered by a series of Times reports on Freeman´s financial practices.

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld has said that ´a trained ape´ could do a better job managing American interests in Afghanistan than President Obama. The retired Republican made the insult while doing a phone-in interview for Greta Van Susteren´s Fox News show on Tuesday. He argued that the President made a serious error by failing to negotiate a status forces agreement with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Gawker points out that such an agreement would effectively commit the United States to having a certain number of troops in the country for a number of years beyond the already-agreed-upon plan which

A pair of potentially catastrophic cases will be argued before the Supreme Court on Tuesday. These cases are brought by privately held, for-profit corporations that are arguing their religious convictions should preclude them from offering employees the health insurance required by law. Specifically, these private employers don’t want to allow their employees’ insurance to cover some forms of birth control because, contrary to medicaland scientific evidence, they believe some birth control causes abortions. Corporations are not people. Corporations cannot have religious views. If religious rights are extended to corporations, it puts us on a slippery slope where any private company
