Rubio Doubles Down into Disaster
Daily Caller, by Mickey Kaus

Original Article

Posted By:PageTurner, 6/18/2013 2:13:04 PM

Stars. They’re not like you! Ryan Lizza’s New Yorker piece on the Gang of 8´s immigration efforts [behind paywall] contains a seemingly inflammatory quote from an unnamed aide to Marco Rubio: “‘There are American workers who, for lack of a better term, can’t cut it,’ a Rubio aide told me. ‘There shouldn’t be a presumption that every American worker is a star performer. There are people who just can’t get it, can’t do it, don’t want to do it. And so you can’t obviously discuss that publicly.’” It’s a bad enough quote that Gang-of-8 cheerleader Jonathan Chait was worried.

Comments:
Kaus exposes Rubio´s lies about what he claims the aide really meant. Isn´t true - the released transcript shows it´s worse than originally reported.

But, luckily for all of us, he so inept and transparently idiotic that he´s already

It is a wonder (& blunder) to behold.
Rubio is such a liar and a dunce that we may have little to fear from him in

If Rubio´s RINOs get their way, American workers will be competing for jobs against a newly documented, semi-literate imported underclass. 12 million more poor people are the LAST thing America needs when there aren´t enough jobs to go around as it is. What a bunch of bunk.

Thank God there is an army of illegals ready to do the jobs that dumb, lazy Americans can´t. Beyond brains, brawn and ambition, the hoard are all strong swimmers, thus costing us nothing to get them here. And they cast a mean vote! How the hell did we get to be a superpower without them?

Argentina´s National Institute for Agricultural Technology (INTA) has invented a way to convert cow flatulence into usable energy, and it involves putting a plastic backpack on a cow. Livestock are responsible for a remarkable amount of global methane emissions, which are a major cause of global warming. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, cow flatulence and burping, accounts for 5.5 million metric tons of methane per year in the United States, that´s 20% of total US methane emissions.

India´s Supreme Court has created an official third sex for its transgender eunuchs and announced they will have a quota of government jobs and college places to help them overcome discrimination. The decision was met with jubilation by transgender charities who said it was a milestone in their fight against marginalisation in Indian society. "We are elated and thankful to the court," said Kalki Subramanium, a leading transgender rights activist. "The decision has come after a century of suppression and marginalisation by the legal and social systems. "This verdict is certainly landmark and a new beginning. Amnesty: President Obama often laments "our broken immigration system" as a reason for his failure to enforce its laws. But as a wave of illegals is about to descend here, the hard fact is that it´s his own policies that broke it. The nonpartisan Inter-American Development Bank and the Migration Policy Institute both reported optimal conditions for a big wave of illegal immigration into the U.S. from Mexico and Central America soon. Based on the slowdown in China´s economy, a recovery in U.S. low-skilled jobs such as construction, and rising U.S. interest rates, it´s fair enough.

The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. There is nothing like it in the democracies of Europe, which came into being with nations already carved up into private fiefdoms.
