The Gladiator: Sarah Palin, We
Need You Back in the Arena

American Thinker, by Lloyd Marcus

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 6/15/2013 8:31:02 AM

Hello, calling Sarah Palin! Has anyone seen her? Where is she? Has Sarah Palin left the building? Is the Palin magic gone forever? No. The Palin charisma and mass appeal are still alive and well. Certain people are born gifted with "It" -- something that compels you to watch them. Sarah Palin is one such individual. Though politically tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail by the left and a few spineless Republicans, I pray for the day when my favorite gladiator Sarah Palin returns to the arena.

I do wish that real conservatives would learn how to relate conservatives ideals to the uninformed without coming on too strong. The left will describe any highly outspoken true conservative a ´radical right winger,´ or ´tea bagger,´ and this connects with the low information voter. Personally I like the direct approach but it scares the lofos. They also need to tell the uninformed why the left´s views are harmful. If you are going to say ´repeal Obamacare,´ tell them why and how it will be bad for everybody, even the poor, and the country.

There is an old saying, Take the good a person has to offer and leave the rest. Will Rogers said, “I never met a man I didn’t like.” He was able to glean a little good in anyone. Some on this forum might want to think about that.

#10; You may think that she is a twit, but you gave no examples of her twittedness. But your remark about her family is uncalled for. The eldest daughter got herself pregnant way too young, granted. But that happens in the best of families. Why do you say that her whole family is a mess? What have they done to earn your scorn? The eldest son is either still in the army or is an honorably discharged vet. The rest of the family are just good kids who have done nothing wrong, and her husband Todd is a good and honorable man. Either back up your allegations with facts, or shut up.

Although this Lloyd Marcus article has not been designated a Must Read, it’s most assuredly Must Read material. Both this article and Sarah Palin will, unsurprisingly, be loudly disparaged by the uninterested, uninformed, unspecific, underachiever class. It’s who they are and what they do. As the lyric of an old song says, they’re “more to be pitied than censured.” But, don’t go too easy on the censuring. Who knows? It might just do those underachievers some good.

The "Left" is quite comfortable with lying and cheating to gain power and influence. From ´Global Warming´ to ´Keynesian Economics´ to ´Diversity´ and ´Tolerance´ it´s ALL a lie and they know it. They also know that to win they must make it ´illegal´ to call a lie ....a lie. There are only ´alternate narratives´.

Sarah [Peace be upon Her] scares the bejesus out of these people because she does not bend to their PC mind control. Ted Cruz Missile presents them with the same thorny problem.

Ted & Sarah refuse to be silenced.

"Liberals" know that they cannot win in a "Free Market of Ideas" so they demonize and silence their opponents.

Imagine if FOX aired an SNL type comedy show harpooning Obama and Pelosi and all the clowns on the left !!!

Hmmmmmm.......why hasn´t that happened ?

Folks who post here with very negative comments about Sarah Palin and her family are only trying to sow anger and discord. Ignore their vitriol and it will drive them nuts. We truly need Palin at this time in America when Obama is bleeding us dry with billion dollar trips to Africa while keeping the White House closed to our school children. I do believe Biden would do a better job. But Sarah could restore our country!!

Sarah Palin´s true gift is to rally the base. She draws tens of thousands of people to her speeches. No one else can do that consistently (including Obama).
The dems are scared spitless when they see the crowds she draws.
Look at this way: Sarah Palin and the TEA Party are the reason why the dems lost the House in 2010. Obama was so unnerved, he sicced the IRS on them.

I admire Sara Palin but do not believe she can singlehandedly restore our country. That is the kind of unrealistic iconization that gets us into trouble.

However, we have Ted Cruz and others who appear to be on the right track. Literally.

Let us just watch and wait as they move on with their crusade. Her having a wider voice on Fox will be a good thing.

I do hope, however, that she will occasionally take a breath. Many get lost in her passionate but overlong run-on sentences.

There are persons that one cannot help but love, because they show the decency of their whole heart in their courage and passion for doing right.
Lloyd Marcus is one of those individuals.

He asks, "Where are the voices inspiring folks to love and contribute to the greatness of their country?". Lloyd Marcus is one of those steadfast, positive and encouraging voices. He has stood and continues to stand despite the hatefulness that has come to him because of it. God bless him.

#4, I´d like to see Sarah host O´Reilly´s show when he is away. He has a tendency to interrupt and insert his own opinion just as his guests reach the point of their comments. The memory of what was actually said, by his guests or by him, is overridden by his rudeness. Watching him was an effort that became a waste of time for me.

We´ve got all sorts of twits in our family. Collectively, however, they´re a good bunch of people. Like Sarah Palin, God bless her!! We need her kind of attitude and thinking in many positions of authority in this country if we are ever going to clean up this crime-in-progress that Zippy has instituted. We need her because she knows what we have and what we should be doing with it. We are not and our nation is on a down-hill run as a result.

Now for some of you, Sarah may not know which spoon to use at a social. What difference do that make compared to Zippy "presenting" the Queen with his latest albums of small talk? Sarah knows what to say to those who need to hear it and she can do it like a lady!! Sarah has the know how to deal with these give-away yo-yos with their hands out all the time.

I don´t give a rat whether she knows what spoon to use or not...but she knows what they are for and that´s more than a lot of these worthless lo-fos messing up our world!! Sarah can it do and we need to make sure she gets there so she can!! And I´d bet if she needed to know which spoon to use she´d sure as the dickens find out ASAP!! The girl can think on her feet and solves problems on the fly!. Now let´s get to work!!

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. In a way it´s the oddest bit of ObamaCare propaganda we´ve seen so far. Suddenly ObamaCare is a roaring success, happy days are here again and liberals are euphoric, or claim to be. There are more than a few reasons to doubt this new fairy tale, not least the behavior of Senate Democrats running for re-election this year. In the Rose Garden Tuesday, President Obama reported that 7.1 million people had signed up so far, confirming a Monday night White House news leak. "That doesn´t mean all our health-care problems have been solved forever," he conceded with customary modesty. LONDON - Peaches Geldof, the wild-child second daughter of concert organizer Bob Geldof who worked as a model, a television presenter and a fashion writer and filled the pages of British tabloids with her late-night antics, has died at age 25. There was no immediate word on the cause of her death at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast England. Her father said in a statement Monday: "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain." "She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us," he said. "Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever."

A married freshman Republican congressman who campaigned on his Christian, conservative values apologized Monday after surveillance video surfaced purportedly showing him in a lengthy liplock with a staffer. In the Dec. 23 footage, obtained by a local newspaper, Rep. Vance McAllister, R-La. - who ahead of his election last fall ran multiple campaign ads trumpeting his faith and family - is seen kissing and embracing a woman for about 20 seconds at his Monroe, La., district office. The Ouachita Citizen reports the woman is the congressman´s 33-year-old part-time scheduler, who is also married.

Call it the million-worker mystery. A large chunk of American adults are no longer in the labor force. That has left economists divided over how many of them are voluntarily not working-or even looking for work-because they wanted to retire, go to school or take care of family members, versus how many have been forced out because they couldn´t find a job. (snip) Shierholz estimates that there are currently more than 5 million missing workers who are not included in the unemployment rate because they are neither working nor looking for work, but who might be if the job market

The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee says investigators have uncovered evidence that a former Internal Revenue Service official may have committed crimes as part of the agency´s tea party controversy. Rep. Dave Camp set a committee vote for Wednesday on whether to refer Lois Lerner, who used to head the agency´s tax-exempt division, to the Justice Department "for possible criminal prosecution." Camp, R-Mich., did not specify which laws Lerner may have broken. Lerner´s lawyer, William W. Taylor III, has said she broke no laws. On Monday, Taylor emailed this response to Camp´s announcement: "One word: Ridiculous." Camp´s committee has been investigating

The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, called on Republicans to press Breitbart News to remove the artwork — one of several suggestive images on the website promoting the new California site. The image of Pelosi, beneath one of California Gov. Jerry Brown’s face photo-shopped onto a flexing body builder, includes the sub-head: “Because you can’t make this s— up.” “To say the least,

As the House prepares for several key votes on former Internal Revenue Service employee Lois G. Lerner and potential legal action, analysts say she and her attorney have mishandled their case by picking and choosing when they want to talk, and to whom they are willing to talk. Ms. Lerner faces a vote in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Thursday that could begin the process of accusing her of contempt of Congress. The Ways and Means Committee announced that it will hold a vote Wednesday on whether to officially accuse Ms. Lerner of breaking the law by

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. There’s a big spike in Medicaid, just as everyone expected. There’s a less big but
