Democratic Congressman: ´Not Fair´
To Subject Congress To Obamacare
Just Like Everyone Else

Forbes, by Robert Book

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 6/14/2013 10:14:46 PM

When the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) was being debated, proponents were accused of saddling Americans with inferior and expensive health care while keeping generous coverage for themselves at taxpayer expense. To rebut that allegation and build confidence in the bill, a provision was added mandating that members of Congress – and their staff members – get there coverage through the new exchange system the bill set up. Now that the time to sign up for exchange coverage is nearing, a Democratic member, Rep. John Larson (D., Conn.), is saying that

Comments:
If this idiot had any sense he wouldn´t have uttered those words. As the author of the article asks, "why did Rep. Larson vote to impose on the country a health coverage system that “is simply not fair”? That´s a good question and not one Democrat can answer it truthfully.

Sunshine go away today
I don´t feel much like dancing
Some man´s come he´s trying to run my life
Don´t know what he´s asking

When he tells me I better get in line
Can´t hear what he´s saying
When I grow up, I´m gonna make him mine
These ain´t dues, I been paying

How much does it cost? I´ll buy it
The time is all we´ve lost, I´ll try it
And he can´t even run his own life
I´ll be damned if he´ll run mine, sunshine

Sunshine, go away today
I don´t feel much like dancing
Some man´s come, he´s trying to run my life
Don´t know what he´s asking

Working starts to make me wonder where
Fruits of what I do are going
When he says in love and war all is fair
He´s got cards he ain´t showing

How much does it cost? I´ll buy it
The time is all we´ve lost, I´ll try it
And he can´t even run his own life
I´ll be damned if he´ll run mine, sunshine

They should have read the bill before voting for it. If they didn´t understand it, they should have demanded an explaination. It was all politics and they once again voted for Pres. Obama. Congress is "stuck on stupid".

Appreciate the info on Grassley #2. Hard for me to see the Beltway forest for these days.

Say what you will about Republican members of Congress who sometimes utter stupid comments about abortion and conception, etc. but you won´t see this guy´s absolute idiocy, deceitfulness and disdain for the American people played on a continual loop like you have for Repubs like Aiken, et al. Now, why is that? How ´bout that war on the American tax-payer? Who´s winning?

Of course it´s a democrat critter. They believe they weren´t merely elected by their peers or something they know they were lifted to Godhood.
If it isn´t fair buddy force your fellow democrat critters to repeal it.
Some years ago Author Helen MacInnes wrote novels that dove into plots and political scams and the people involved. Many were hit movies . One -- Agent in Place--- really got into the habits of the critters that are in play today. The cold war setting showed members of Congress so involved in the reelections and parties and photo ops that they never read one bill. Their top aides had that job and told their bosses how to vote. Of course this led to sleeper agents who used the boss for foreign agendas all full of harm with intent to bring down the US and the Constitution.
It also taught that critters should never be allowed to stay in DC until they are acting like elites who owned the peons.

As far as a "brain drain" goes, Pelosi and her "gotta pass it, to find out what´s in it" of some of the doings of such as Maxine Watters, Sheila Jackson Lee, Harry Reid, this would be a "brain drain"! The column I wrote last week, it turns out, has created somewhat of a storm. This is due to one thing only: Rush Limbaugh read it aloud on his radio program. (Start reading in the middle from where it says “BREAK TRANSCRIPT.”) That one decision by Rush led all of our mutual enemies to go viral, sending numerous Tweets and Facebook posts attacking Rush and me for supposedly arguing that the anti-Semitic neo-Nazi Glenn Miller acted because of Max Blumenthal. Of course, as I wrote last week in an addendum, this was not the point I was making. I wrote the following, and repeat it once again:

Iran is insisting that the United States accept its decision to appoint a former terrorist as it representative to the United Nations, which held a closed-door meeting on Tuesday to address Tehran’s concerns over the matter. President Barack Obama signed into law last week a widely supported bill preventing countries from appointing terrorists as their U.N. ambassadors. The bill came in response to Iran’s selection of Hamid Aboutalebi as its next envoy to the United Nations. The pick drew outrage on Capitol Hill and elsewhere after Aboutalibi was identified as having played a key role in the 1979 Iranian hostage crisis,

When President Obama becomes the first U.S. president to visit Malaysia in almost half a century, he will visit a prominent mosque on Sunday – but not a church, in a country where relations between the Muslim establishment and minority Christians have not always been smooth. Also, Obama’s itinerary includes a meeting with “Malaysian civil society leaders,” but according to the White House he will not meet with Anwar Ibrahim, the veteran opposition leader who since the late 1990s has been embroiled in a legal battle with the government widely viewed as a politically motivated harassment campaign. If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

New audio reveals an Eastern Connecticut State University professor warning that Republicans will “want things to go back — not to to 1955, but to 1855? if they win control of Congress in November. Republican victories could also put him out of a job, he cautioned. “We will live in a very, very, very different kind of country if that happens,” Professor Brent Terry told students in his Introduction to Creative Writing course, according to audio obtained by Campus Reform. “I mean, colleges will start closing up if these people have their way.” Over the course of his rant, Terry characterized conservatives

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

It may not be tomorrow, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says "something will happen" to force a Nevada rancher to obey a court order to stop grazing his cattle on federal land and pay his grazing fees. "It´s obvious that you can´t just walk away from this," Reid said in an April 18 interview with a Nevada´s KSNV-TV News 3 program “What’s Your Point?” "You can´t have a law that is -- we´re a nation of laws, not of men and women," he said. (Video) Reid noted that most cattlemen pay their taxes, pay their fees, and follow

Thirty-eight Republican lawmakers, including such unlikely bedfellows as John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas, have joined to support a lawsuit challenging the legality of the Affordable Care Act and accusing the president of repeatedly ignoring the law he signed for political reasons. The lawmakers have signed onto a legal brief in support of a lawsuit filed by Sen. Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who is asking a federal court to overturn Obamacare’s special treatment for members of Congress and their staffs. “The unlawful executive action at issue in this case is not an isolated incident,” the brief

At a petite 5’3’’, Sage Santangelo may not look like a combat fighter at first glance. But the female second lieutenant has never let that hold her back from pursuing her dream of becoming an infantry officer in the Marine Corps. Growing up, Santangelo found she was always able to keep up with the guys and enjoyed playing hockey on all boys’ teams. But when she joined the Marines, Santangelo found the playing field changed; she was segregated into female-only training units and as a woman, was relegated to less strenuous physical training than her male counterparts. And that’s why,
