Die Freihiet, the German political party, is called, in full, Freedom Civil Rights Party for More Freedom and Democracy (Die Freiheit Bürgerrechtspartei für mehr Freiheit und Demokratie).(snip) At the heart of this existential crisis is Islam in Europe. Stadtkewitz said that "Islam is not just a religion but also a political ideology with its own legal system."
Comments: Anyone taking worldview studies comes to understand very quickly that Christianity should be kept to oneself, while Islam permeates every facet of the Muslim´s life; business, interpersonal relationships, education, blowing up their own children, dietary laws and law in general. You cannot separate the Muslim from his Islam. But let someone bring Christianity into an American government school or an abortion clinic and all hell breaks loose
Die Freiheit is a harbinger of things to come, not only in Europe but in the United States as well.
If the elites of the Establishment cannot be relied upon to defend the security and continued existence of the nation, popular movements will inevitably arise to meet the challenge. This could and probably would get very messy.
It would be better for everyone if those in the Establishment with their heads in the sand(or someplace darker still) could wise up to reality and their responsibilities and abandonment the ruinous course they have been pursuing vis-a-vis "immigrants" of all backgrounds.
America, for example, does not need any "immigrants" who do not speak English, have no advanced skills, do not share or even actively reject American values, and who immediately avail themselves of welfare and other taxpayer funded benefits. We can do very well without any more such people. It is little short of suicidal to keep inviting and letting them in the country.
Apologies to O.P.; but the Gospels and Epistles are rather clear that one´s Christian faith is meant to penetrate every fiber of one´s being, not just every aspect of one´s life. It´s the secular domestication of religion in America (along with JFK´s assurance that his presidency would not be under Papal authority) that created the Christian-in-private precedent here.
Muslims and mexicans alike should not be in the USA at all. I am more than tired of spanish subtitles or dialogue on TV programs. The mooslims are out and out killers when they perceive they are supposed to support our freedoms and kill their women and even children.
Enforce the laws on the books. E-verify etc. Deport criminals- especially drunk drivers illegals which cause 40 % accidents in Sanctuary city LA. No more Anchor babies and birth tourism for US citizenship. Shubio speaks with forked tongue. Illegals in WH but ICE agents ignored? McCain sold out America when he laid down for the fake tan man and now he works to implement his anti - American agenda. Defund all aspects of Obamacare - especially, IRS agents.
Pro Islam is PC. Pro Western Civilization is NOT PC. Western governments and cultural elites are becoming suicidal. Any form of authoritarianism (religious, economic, or political) seems preferable to liberty.

European businesses are likely to abandon the services of American internet providers because of the National Security Agency surveillance scandal, the European commission has warned. Neelie Kroes, the commission vice-president who speaks on digital affairs, predicted that providers of cloud services, which allow users to store and access data on remote servers, could suffer significant loss of business if clients fear the security of their material is under threat.
The Obama administration on Wednesday broadened an exemption for American Indians from the new health care law´s requirement that virtually every U.S. resident has health insurance starting next year. New rules clarify that people who are eligible to receive medical care through the federal Indian Health Service will be exempt from the requirement to have health insurance or face fines from the Internal Revenue Service.
Justice Anthony Kennedy did the cause of gay marriage no favors when he ruled that the purpose of laws that uphold traditional marriage was to "disparage and injure" same-sex couples. By casting support for traditional marriage falsely as bigotry, he undermined the legitimacy of the holding in the case. Worse, he implictly excused the real--not imagined--bigotry of some gay marriage supporters against their opponents.
Huma Abedin is gathering her friends around husband Anthony Weiner, to support his run for mayor. The Hillary Clinton senior adviser and her sister, Heba, are hosting the first Women for Weiner fund-raiser tonight at the home of author and socialite Jill Iscol, who also hosted a bridal shower for Chelsea Clinton.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Senator McCain this afternoon was on Fox News Channel´s Happening Now. (snip) ...they vote down amendments that would do exactly that. They don´t want to secure the border. They´re offering amendments, and they´re making statements to make us think they want to secure the border. They offer amendments and they make statements to make us think that they hear us. But every time something with teeth is actually proposed...a fence, 90% trigger on apprehension...it goes down in flames.

A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent allegedly told a 15-year-old girl at Los Angeles International Airport to "cover herself" before she boarded her flight. The girl´s father, BoingBoing.com website editor Mark Frauenfelder, posted an article about the exchange on Sunday evening. In it, Frauenfelder alleges that the TSA agent "humiliated and shamed my 15-year-old daughter."
In a new Facebook post, the mother of 10-year-old Sarah Murnaghan said her daughter made a "tiny step in the right direction" following last week´s lung transplant. Janet Murnaghan, of Newtown Square, delivered the news in a Facebook message that was apparently posted early Monday. She went on to say that Sarah was able to "back off some of her vent settings in terms of her O2 [oxygen] requirements." Janet continued, saying "Sarah´s x-rays improved a little today too. She is still fully sedated and critical."
Reformist-backed cleric Hassan Rouhani has won Iran´s presidential election, securing just over 50% of the vote and so avoiding the need for a run-off. A turnout of 72.2% was registered of the 50 million Iranians who were eligible to vote for the successor to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Colin Powell has admitted to exchanging ´very personal´ emails with a Romanian diplomat but denies having an affair with the much younger woman after a hacker threatened to release their intimate messages. The 76-year-old retired general told the Smoking Gun that he met Corina Cretu, 45, roughly 10 years ago when she was working as an assistant to the president of Romania. She is now a member of the European Parliament. ´After I left the Department of State in January 2005 we stayed in touch via email,´ he told TSG.
Mark Levin, who hosts one of America´s top radio talk shows and is considered by supporters to be the people´s pundit on the Constitution, is rallying his 8.5 million-strong audience to demand an historic convention of state governments to halt the "oppressive power" of the federal government. The author of two New York Times bestsellers on the threats to the Constitution, Levin hopes his latest, "The Liberty Amendments," out mid-August, will spark the state lawmakers to tap a rarely used Constitutional provision to institute measures that would brake President Obama´s use of executive orders, bar thousand-page laws and
CNN has uncovered exclusive new information about what is allegedly happening at the CIA, in the wake of the deadly Benghazi terror attack. Four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the assault by armed militants last September 11 in eastern Libya. Sources now tell CNN dozens of people working for the CIA were on the ground that night, and that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret. CNN has learned the CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy
The former commander of special operations in Northern Africa told a closed-door briefing today that he was largely detached from events the night of the Benghazi attack as he was traveling at the time. The testimony of Col. George H. Bristol, USMC, Former Commander, Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command Africa, had been eagerly anticipated by members of Congress. Originally, lawmakers had been told by the Defense Department that he had retired — the actual date is Aug. 1, an “administrative error” according to the Pentagon — and that they didn’t have

Arizona Sen. John McCain was the Republican Party´s 2008 presidential nominee and he still wants the keys to the Oval Office. But he is beginning to sound more like a fan of likely 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. "She´s a rock star," he said in a newly released interview. "She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world," he added in a reference to her work as secretary of State. McCain, reportedly trying to win back his reputation as a GOP maverick, was asked by the New Republic
Serial sexter Anthony Weiner’s wife partly blamed herself last year when her horndog husband confessed to her that he was at it again. Friends and family told People magazine that Huma Abedin was kicking herself at the time for bailing out of couples counseling and focusing more on their newborn baby boy. But, thanks to a new round of joint therapy that continues even now, the couple was able to put the relapse behind them. “They really became a unit, and she feels much closer to Anthony now,” a relative told the magazine. That’s a long way from how Abedin
In preparation for the release of Oscar-bait film The Butler, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, and director Lee Daniels (Precious) sat down with Parade magazine. The film chronicles a butler (Whitaker) who works in the White House through seven administrations. Winfrey plays the butler’s wife. In the interview, Winfrey explained her sadness that so few Americans know about the history of the civil rights movement: “They don’t know diddly-squat. Diddly-squat.” She then said of the historic use of the n-word, “I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last
The United States will temporarily shut down its embassies and consulates around the world Sunday, including those in Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt, as a precautionary measure, the State Department said Thursday. State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf did not say how long the international installations would stay closed -- only that the decision was taken “out of an abundance of caution and care for our employees and others who may be visiting.” Sunday is a normal workday in many Arab and Middle Eastern countries. Embassies in Europe and Latin America would be shuttered that day anyway.
If we learned anything about Barack Obama in his first term it is that when he starts repeating the same idea over and over, what´s on his mind is something else. The first term´s over-and-over subject was "the wealthiest 1%." Past some point, people wondered why he kept beating these half-dead horses. After the election, we knew. It was to propagandize the targeted voting base that would provide his 4% popular-vote margin of victory—very young voters and minorities. They believed. He won. The second-term over-and-over, elevated in his summer speech tour, is the shafting of the middle class. But
American scientists claim the planet is undergoing one of the largest changes in climate in the past 65 million years. Climatologists at Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment have warned the likely rate of change over the next century will be at least 10 times quicker than any climate shift since the dinosaurs became extinct. If the trend continues at its current rapid pace, it will place significant stress on terrestrial ecosystems around the world, and many species will need to make behavioral, evolutionary or geographic adaptations to survive, they said.
[Video] Ouch. New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie turned down an offer by Sen. Rand Paul to join him for a beer and bury the hatchet in their ongoing -- and very public -- feud. "I´m running for re-election in New Jersey. I don´t really have time for that at the moment," Christie said in an interview on a local radio station. The New Jersey governor said if he finds himself in Washington, "I´ll certainly look him up." But he added: "I don´t suspect I´ll be there anytime soon. I´ve got work to do here."
