Woolwich attack provokes
anti-Muslim backlash across UK

The Telegraph (UK), by Tom Whitehead

Original Article

Posted By:M2, 5/25/2013 9:30:40 AM

The murder of soldier Lee Rigby has provoked a backlash of anti-Muslim anger across the UK, including the attacking of mosques, racial abuse and comments on social media. Reports of attacks to one helpline have increased more than six fold in the days since Wednesday’s atrocity, allegedly carried out by Islamic fanatics. They have included “focused, very aggressive attacks”, a spokesman said.

Comments:
Retribution is the only language some people understand.

British citizens treated like Nazi subjects for speech, even on social media. Meanwhile Muslims may say what they want when they want even violent speec right out in the open.

The population of these little Islands ruled much of the world for 200 years and brought civilization and prosperity to millions and millions of people. Perhaps this will be the event that will stir them to reclaim their greatness and take back control of their country. Nearly the same words could be said about our country, BTW.

Perhaps instead of "monitoring social networking" they should be out arresting "known" radicals in their country. Of course someone sitting at a computer is probably easier to arrest than someone that might have a meat cleaver in their pocket.

Maybe they should go back to their backward countries in the middle east.

We in the USA are in no better shape. Wehaveallowed these Barbarian Savages to take over large communities .
They are allowed free passage to build Mosques,to attempt to include Sharia law in our legal system. all without really becoming true citizens.
No more Mosques should be allowed until they show a greater tolerance for others.
No christian churches are allowed in certain
Islamist countries , neither can other religious symbols be worn by non muslims.
Enough is Enough Islamist must ne put on notice, To Assimilate or get out of the U.S.A..

I think it is appalling that this article even uses the word ´allegedly´ given that there are photos of them with joyfully bloody hands and holding their nasty weapons. I have become more and more convinced that until the so-called peaceful muslims stand up and deal with these monsters, they need to understand that karma is a you know what, and bites really hard. You reap what you sow, and these people are determined to sow.

The "moderate" Moslems (that is, the ones not standing on camera with bloodied hands) always pop up after these horrendous events and say, "Hey, not us! That´s not what Islam is all about. We´re a PEACEFUL religion."

Now, in between terrorist attacks, howe many times have you seen any mosque-associated group or Islamic organization out doing something like - helping out after a huricane or tornando, opening a shelter for battered women (ha, ha, ha), building homes for destitute families (even those of co-religionists.

How about unequivocally denouncing violence -- BETWEEN terrorist attacks? Instead - and only after a terrorist attack- we get some young lady with her hear wrapped in bandages saying "our mosque is moderate" and some bearded guy from somewhere saying "but these guys were justified in their actions."

In a different context, but still apropos, the BIBLE says, "By their fruits you shall know them."

The attack was a brutal decapitation in a public place followed by a speech about how the attack was justified and would continue. This real crime will eventually be prosecuted in UK courts.

Rather than pursue the sources of hate that culminated in this attack, the police are determined to prosecute speech crimes that show disrespect to those who would continue such brutal attacks.

Yes, it´s quite a backlash. Push the Brits too much further, they might raise their voices, perhaps stomp their feet when no one is looking. Better not put anything in writing though, the police might swarm your house and arrest you.

One of these days the muslims may repeat history with the old "heads on sticks along the Thames" routine. Heck, they already have started public executions with sharp instruments.

Look out for when the British have had enough though. Some of them may make faces of disapproval, or when really steamed, may shake their heads.

Muslims plant bombs and behead people, and the Brits are going after people for offensive language? It´s not enough that they disarmed their citizens, now they cannot even speak out. Standing by helpless is one thing, while terrorists murder someone in the street, but they cannot even depend on their police, who are so PC that they are useless.

President Obama’s Internal Revenue Service today quietly released a series of Obamacare “Health Care Tax Tips” warning Americans that they must obtain “qualifying” health insurance – as defined by the federal government – or face a “shared responsibility payment” when filing their tax returns in 2015. The term “shared responsibility payment” refers to the Obamacare individual mandate tax, one of at least seven tax hikes in the healthcare law that directly hit families making less than $250,000 per year.

Interrupting their vacation on Thursday, two Democrats -- Sen. Jack Reed of R.I. and Rep. The cost of a three-month extension is around $6.5 billion. Losing jobless benefits is like being hit by an "economic hurricane," said Rep. Levin, who sits on the House Ways and Means Committee. It´s become a hallmark of Barack Obama´s presidency that mistakes made by policy makers, businesses, and governments at all levels must be paid for by American taxpayers. This perverse bailout culture is again evident in ObamaCare, which we now know contains a little-known provision that grants the administration a blank check for a taxpayer-funded bailout of insurance companies when ObamaCare fails. When President Obama recently announced his unilateral order to allow health insurers to ignore ObamaCare´s mandates and regulations and keep offering health plans that people wanted to keep, it exposed another fundamental problem in the law which puts American
