Mark Levin Tears Into Obama: ‘Flat-
Out, Bald-Faced Lie’ That He Knew
Nothing About IRS Targeting

Mediaite, by Josh Feldman

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 5/23/2013 9:48:28 PM

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

Comments:
I agree!! I´m sick and tired of hearing O´Reilly say we have to give 0bama the benefit of the doubt. Are you kidding me? 0bama is a Chicago thug who crushes anyone in his way by utilizing every method he can to hold on to his power.

Impeach is beyond reach. However, the debt ceiling and CRs become critical again this fall. Then the House, if it has the cajones, can shut the government down. Shut down the whole damn thing, like Newt did in the ´90s. That forced Clinton to reality. It will do likewise for our Emperor.

Of course it is possible that Obama was so busy not knowing anything about Benghazi and so occupied with worrying about the need to know nothing about the FBI trying to frame FOX News that the poor guy just didn´t have time to bother with not knowing about the IRS targeting conservatives.

Dang it all, going to be late for Tee time at the course again tomorrow!

I think the "Limbaugh Theorem" applies pretty well here. Rush has been explaining recently that Obama´s MO is to appear "distant" from the day-to-day details of government. That is why he appears to "campaign" all the time. He doesn´t want to appear "accountable" in any way to the massive corruption and fraud he oversees. In the older days, we had a name for someone like this. He is a No Account bum. I think he is a Lazy Dullard also.

Funny how previous president´s never had the IRS in the WH more than twice in 8 years, yet Barry had the IRS in the WH 118 times in 4 years. Oh that´s right. The IRS was there for the Easter Bunny egg hunt.

What every American needs to do is read (or re-read) William Shirer´s The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. The parallels to what is going on now in Washington are absolutely chilling.

Here´s the deal:

Obama´s job is to talk. Travel around and talk. Stand in the Rose Garden and talk. Say things that are scripted by other people who know they´re smarter than he is. (Czars, department heads, under-assistant-secretaries, etc.) But he sounds good. So he talks.

This IRS/Tea Party thing.... he may not have issued orders to anyone to do exactly what was done. He may not have know it was being done as it occurred. But it was done knowing he would APPROVE of it. That he would LOVE IT, and that the doers would get kudos and promotions. (See, e.g., Victoria Nuland)

But somebody knew it was going on. Somebody - one of those people who know they´re smarter than he is - knew it. They knew it, they may have ordered it, or suggested something like it, and they DID APPROVE OF IT. They LOVED IT.

And they DID KNOW ABOUT IT. They may not have told him - knowing he doesn´t stay on script sometimes - but that is the definition of PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY.

My theorem goes hand-in-hand with the Limbaugh Theorem.

Somebody, high up in the deepest hallways, knew this, loved it, approved of it, and likely did order it done.

It´s what they do.

All this is interesting copy and it will make absolutely zero difference to Obama´s afterburner speeding to Alinsky-Xanadu but there are STILL conservative victims of this criminal activity visited upon them by Holder, Jarred, and Obama who STILL have been and still are being targeted who still do not have the tax exempt status they STILL have a right to. Anybody else but me give a rip about them or do we forever light out hair on fire over what liar said what? Just wondering.

I agree somebody should be offering the dear leader a blindfold and a cigarette, but as a practical matter, impeachment is not going to happen. We lived through the Clinton impeachment, and I had a very up close view from the inside of that saga. Setting race aside, as long as the dems hold the senate its impossible. There is no way Washington will stand for impeachment, much less conviction and removal of the historical first black president. The best we can hope for is to keep the scandals alive, hold the House and maybe take the Senate in 2014. That and pray every day for the health of 5 of the Supreme Court. And while we are at it pray that the loyal opposition doesn´t go wobbly.

WHO is at the helm? If the "won" is so incompetent -- who the h@ll is running the oval office?

If obama is tucked into bed the night of the Benghazi attack because he can´t cope -- then WHO is coping?

WHO ordered the "stand down"???

Plausible deniability. It´s the Chicago Thug MO.
Obama has a meeting with his closest advisors, discussing 3 plans. Obama himself rejects 2, leaving it crystal clear which proposal is approved by Obama. Not a word has been spoken. Not an order has been written. This same pattern happens all the way down the chain and eventually reaches the action guys, who carry out the non-order.
Culpable deniability. All the intense investigations in the world can at best result in implications. But proving malicious intent is nearly impossible. In the end, the agents involved will be found to have misunderstood something or they´ll be rogue agents, or a bureaucratic snafu will be the cause.

The scariest thing for all of us is there is NO accountability! Obama has been ruining his opponents for years. No justice ever for those he has decimated. This is just business as usual for him. Who here is surprised at these scandals and yet he will, once again, not be held accountable. No one in this administration will be held accountable either. Holder will skate, Nuland gets a promotion, Lerner refuses to be fired and gets paid leave, Hillary slides without sworn testimony, and on and on. Will this national nightmare ever end? I think not as half the country approve of all the scandal!

The reason the people that are serving in this administration were hired in the first place is that when Obama drops his little remarks, kind of like afterthoughts, he knows that they will go out and do what he wants done. This way he can technically say, I did not order that done, when in reality yes he did.

I´ve been peeved at Rush over this too. He´s basically been saying that zippy didn´t need to order the IRS to do this because he has hired fellow travelers who think just like he does and theybwere fully capable of ordering it on their own. I don´t think so. I think this idea was hatched in the Oval Office and the order came right from zippy himself.

If all of this was kept from zippy by his staff, the normal reaction would be for him to be firing them. That ain´t happening.

Courage such as the GOP´s is why they invented the color yellow.

Mr. Obama is an intelligent ignoramus. He doesn´t really understand free market economics, but he understands power. He has staffed his administration with philosophically like minded individuals so that he does not have to provide direction, rather he simply allows them to act in the manner that he agrees with. Consequently he is teflon.

I have said, for a long time, that I don´t want to see 0bama impeached (beside the fact that NO DemonRAT would ever vote to convict) it would be an exercise in futility.

I want to see him indicted, prosecuted and convicted in criminal court of crimes, felonies and misdemeanors, along with multitudes of co-conspirators. Joe Bite-Me Biden has to have known, from the get-go, that Barack´s candidacy was less than stellar. After the Convention in 2008, Speaker of the House Pelosi wrote, signed and had notarized two different affidavits on his candidacy: one for Hawaii that said he was Constitutionally eligible for the position, one for the other 49 states that simply stated "0bama and Biden are the candidates"--she knew something wasn´t right about 0bama´s heritage, education, drug use and/or work history!

There are many people who knew many things and should be held criminally culpable for foisting an incompetent Affirmative Action failure on the taxpaying public of this country. When it all comes out every one will say, "How could this happen?"

The only question is when will it "all" come out...when there is time for the United States--as a Constitutional Representative Republic--has time to recover, or 50 years later, when 0bama´s sealed private papers will be available to the public??

I think it is beyond implausible that Obama did not know about what was going on in the various scandals. Fast & Furious, Bengazi, IRS, spying on reporters, etc.

It is possible (it is also possible that the space station will fall on my house).

There are only 2 possibilities here though. If he did know, then he is a criminal. If he did not know then he is incompetent.

I suspect (A), but agree with the other posters who say that nothing will happen.

I have to believe that there are a lot of die hard dims who are being hurt or are going to be hurt by lil teleprompter. Maybe even unions?

We need a political victory not a legal one.

The dims had two great things in the last 70 years: the kennedy assassination and the Nixon affair.

The Nixon affair gave them so much not because of any legal victory but because the dims successfully painted Nixon as the devil. And kennedy as a saint.

If teleprompter is creating the train wreck that I see coming, the dims party may become the devil. An impeachment would distract from that.

I recently read the book "Stalin´s Leutenants". As he consolidated his grip on power, it was his common practice in meetings to drop a word here and there, make an allusion etc, knowing full well that his henchmen would know what the master wanted and make sure it got done. As a result millions were imprisoned, tortured, and killed but there was no paper trail to connect any of the crimes to Stalin. On the rare occasions when the people or the party stood up and demanded accountability, he would launch and investigation that invariably produced proof that his leutenants were guilty but nothing showing him giving the orders. The leutenant would be shot and the investgator would take over the his job, only to be liquidated in turn the next time around. This was the fate of at least 6 heads of the KGB and it´s predecessors. Obama´s approach is very similar to Stalin´s.

Keep in mind that I am NOT being rude to the LDotters here when I say that Impeachment, at THIS point in time, will get us nothing.

There are enough crimes committed against the state by this alleged president and his administration to charge them with Treason. And, BTW, the punishment for Treason is much harsher than Impeachment´s. Hanging is the way that I would take these Traitors.

And, "The Great One" is seldom, if ever, wrong. I would stake my LIFE on anything that he says.

Steve Lynch is a Democratic Rep. from Massachusetts who doesn’t hesitate to buck the party line from a centrist point of view, and to speak openly about problems in the party and with party positions. Lynch ran for Senate to fill John Kerry’s seat, but lost in the primary to now-Senator Ed Markey. Lynch recently was interviewed by The Boston Herald about upcoming Obamacare problems and how devastating they will be for Democrats. That runs contrary to cut current news cycle Democratic spin that (allegedly) meeting sign up goals means electoral problems related to Obamacare are over. U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch, the

Then-Sens. Joe Biden and John Kerry were both opposed to Hillary Clinton’s 1993 health-care reform program, according to documents released by the Clinton presidential library. Clinton marked a handwritten “No” beside Biden’s name on Clinton’s list of Capitol Hill lawmakers that she needed to win over for her universal health care law, known as the “Clinton health plan” or “Hillarycare,” to pass. John Kerry, meanwhile, was marked with a “Probably not.” “Hillarycare” ended up dying in the Democratic-controlled Senate in 1994 without coming to a floor vote. As vice president, Biden has been a loyal supporter of the Obama administration’s

Wayne Crews of the Competitive Enterprise Institute and Alexis de Tocqueville, author of the classic Democracy in America, were born in different times and places. But the French aristocrat and American think tanker have the measure of the federal behemoth in the age of Obama. Writing in 1835, Tocqueville eloquently predicted how it would function, while Crews today supplies in his annual compilation of federal rules and regulations, “10,000 Commandments,” the hard numbers that describe the behemoth´s contemporary reach and costs. It is always worthwhile to revisit de Tocqueville’s description of what he called the

Prominent Washington correspondents are accusing President Obama and his aides of knowingly stretching the truth on issues like the so-called women´s pay gap just to create controversy and keep issues -- and the president -- relevant. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal

The Bill Clinton White House angered a black congressman in 1993 after he was forced to show his ID and submit to a search of his car before Secret Service would allow him to enter the White House for a meeting with then-Vice President Al Gore. A white driver taking Ohio Democratic Rep. Louis Stokes to his meeting was admitted without an ID-check. A staffer´s memo to Clinton a week later warned the president about the incident before a scheduled photo-op including Stokes and the mayor of a Cleveland suburb. The Department of Health and Human Services is proposing a rule that would, if implemented, guarantee that even more Americans who like their health insurance plans cannot keep them. Fixed indemnity plans, which pay insured customers a set amount towards medical expenses and are often cost-effective relative to more comprehensive health insurance, are popular forms of coverage, and potentially becoming more popular in the wake of Obamacare. Health insurance industry representatives say that fixed indemnity plans have been attracting more interest as many Americans look for a

Parents in El Paso, Texas were outraged over an “inappropriate” homework assignment given to fourth graders at Pasodale Elementary School. Students were asked to read passages about a wife discovering her husband cheated and a mother finding out her military son was killed. They then had to answer questions about the adult-themed topics. Read some of the assignment below: Valerie opened up the letter from the military department. She felt the pit of her stomach drop to the bottom of the earth before she even opened it. She knew it was news about John. As she read the first line,

Senator Harry Reid came under fire for saying Thursday that supporters of Cliven Bundy are “domestic terrorists,” and in a TV appearance today he doubled down. He appeared on local Nevada program What’s Your Point? with Dean Heller, Nevada’s other senator, and stood by his remarks, calling Bundy’s supporters “domestic violent terrorist wannabes.” Reid said that Bundy “doesn’t believe that the American government is valid” and doesn’t follow the law, bringing up how hundreds of people showed up armed to defend Bundy to argue that they’re basically engaging in an act of domestic terrorism. “600 people came. A Sebelius spokeswoman told the newspaper in a story posted late Thursday that the secretary is "continuing her important work at H.H.S. and is not considering a run for the Senate." Earlier this week, the Times reported Sebelius, who recently tendered her resignation from the high-profile Cabinet job, was "considering entreaties from Democrats" to run against GOP Sen. Pat Roberts back home in Kansas. President Obama announced Sebelius´ resignation last week and said he would

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Remember when Lois Lerner, in answering a planted question at an American Bar Association conference, admitted the IRS had targeted conservative groups but tried to pass it off as the work of rogue agents — “our line people in Cincinnati”? Today we know there were indeed federal agents involved. But they weren’t rogue, and they weren’t confined to IRS workers in Cincinnati. Thanks to a Freedom of Information request by Judicial Watch, we now have an e-mail Lerner sent to colleagues noting the Department of Justice was looking into criminal prosecutions of these tax-exempt groups. We know something else, too. These investigations
