GOP Senator preserves loophole
giving illegal immigrants
immediate welfare access

Breitbart Big Government, by Matthew Boyle

Original Article

Posted By:Fiesta del sol, 5/22/2013 6:08:08 AM

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) backed down from a previous promise his spokeswoman made to Breitbart News that he would consider voting in favor of amendments to the Senate´s immigration bill that would close a loophole allowing illegal immigrants immediate access to state and local welfare. When Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) actually offered an amendment that would close the loophole during Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee markup of the bill, Flake joined Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and all the committee Democrats in opposing the amendment.

Its things like this that really make me wonder about the future of this country. Maybe its better if we all sent our kids to Mexico, and told them to cross the border. They´d then get free citizenship, health benefits, and probably welfare from the get-go. Why do things the legal way, when we have politicians like Flake who stab their country in the back time and again.

Our new Senator Cruz continues to do the right thing for our Nation.

Too bad Flake and Graham do not want to do the right thing for our Nation.

Why would we allow illegal aliens to live off of our welfare tax dollars?

Jeff Flake has never inspired any trust in me that he is a conservative. He was supported by the Senate Conservative Fund in 2012, but I never wanted to give him a dime. His legislative history had too many red flags that he was a man of his word.

This is a scheme to send our money to Mexico. I saw a sign in WalMart yesterday saying that it only cost $7 to send $1000 to Mexico. Now who would be sending that kind of money to Mexico? Wake up, America! Your tax dollars at work in Mexico.

You´ve gotta wonder if Harper Reed (CTO obama´s 2012 reelection campaign) and his Chicago team of 100 data scientists gathered incriminating information on the Gang of 8, giving obama plausible deniability. Is that why they are so vocally-compliant? Otherwise, why not just vote and be done with it? Why this obsession to let everyone know how "fair" they are?
It´s no secret that this administration operates in the Chicago Way: who has what on whom. Thugs can be high tech, too, you know.

I could have told Glenn Beck this would be the result of supporting this ´good´ guy. Of course, like many others here, I could have told anyone who wanted to listen that BHO would be doing exactly what he is doing. Lots of lying politicians have one skill which is telling certain people what they want to hear in order to get to DC. Once there, all bets are off and it becomes sale to the highest bidder or more often, which way is the wind blowing in DC.

Some of those Republicans who label themselves as being conservatives will compromise anything to secure as much cheap foreign labor as possible for their business oriented constituents, that´s what we are seeing here. That´s the way it has always been, with certain Republicans simply going along to get along, as long as whatever they do facilitates the importation of more cheap foreign labor, and is why the liberal Democrats have been able to sabotage the effective enforcement of the immigration laws for so long.

The States should also be paying attention to what is happening in Washington, DC with the liberal Democrat amnesty and path to citizenship bill, because a lot of the resulting welfare and social costs are going to have to be paid by the individual States where the legalized aliens and their foreign family members decide to live.

Those Republicans should also be paying closer attention, because while they may secure short term cheap foreign labor, in the long term the Democrats are going to expand their political base with millions of new foreign born socialist oriented voters to the point where it will make it impossible for Republicans to win national elections in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Texas, just as the Republicans can no longer win now in California.

First lady Michelle Obama will unveil a proposal Tuesday that would ban marketing junk food and sodas in schools — an unusually aggressive position for the administration that could draw the ire of school districts, food companies and conservatives. Schools would no longer be able to house vending machines that sport images of their flagship sodas, have posters promoting unhealthy food and drinks or use cups in cafeterias that market high-calorie beverages, among other forms of promotion, according to administration officials. The proposal — part of an updated school wellness policy crafted by the Department of Agriculture — would require marketing of

Richmond, Va. — A federal appeals court on Tuesday upheld a 2012 court ruling that North Carolina´s decision to issue special anti-abortion license plates is unconstitutional because the state doesn´t offer similar plates supporting abortion rights. In a unanimous ruling, a three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that the proposed "Choose Life" plates represent "blatant viewpoint discrimination squarely at odds with the First Amendment. "The decision upholds a December 2012 ruling by U.S. District Judge James Fox in Raleigh, which came 13 months after he blocked the state from issuing the plates while a lawsuit by the American Civil Liberties Union was pending.

There´s no doubt the vast majority of Republicans in Congress would repeal Obamacare if they could. Most GOP "alternative" bills begin with a clause to repeal the Affordable Care Act before proceeding to outline new policies to put in its place. Of course, GOP lawmakers don´t have any hope of actually repealing the law as long as Barack Obama, and his veto pen, are in the White House. Now some Republicans are looking at what might be done to undo as much as possible of the Democrats´ national health care scheme without actually repealing it. Some Arizonans who secured health coverage through the federal marketplace are now finding that their new plans drastically limit the providers they can use. Metro Phoenix and Tucson residents who signed up for plans with so-called narrow networks have discovered fewer options for primary-care doctors, specialists, hospitals, pharmacies, labs and clinics. And some rural Arizonans purchasing the least-expensive plan in their communities have discovered that the nearest participating doctor is 200 miles away. Insurers and brokers acknowledge that some consumers are confused by the narrow networks, a strategy health insurers embrace to lower costs.
