Three Labor Unions, Including
Teamsters, Want ObamaCare Repealed;
When Will Media Report?

NewsBusters, by Matt Vespa

Original Article

As the media, by and large, ignores the train wreck that is on the horizon with ObamaCare, yet another union has jumped ship on the president’s health care overhaul. Back in April, you may recall, the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers, and Allied Workers officially said thanks but no thanks to the president’s plan. Well, now, a major labor union in the grocery industry is balking at the policy. According to The Hill: The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) — a 1.3 million-member labor group that twice endorsed Obama for president —

I have trouble understanding why newspapers like the WaPo, NY Slimes, LA Slimes, etc. are willing to risk going out of business rather than telling the truth. I suppose they expect some kind of reward or special privilege, but they should remember JFK´s inaugural speech quote, "those who ride on the back of the tiger end up inside."

I´m to the point where I hope these unions are just crushed by Obamacare. We know the union thug leadership won´t suffer, they´ll pass it on to the members. Until people can´t afford their text minutes and Netflix nothing in this country is going to change. The LoVos won´t get a clue until they wake up one morning and can´t buy their lattes.

The media got their marching orders yesterday after they were all called for a private meeting in the WH. They probably got offered free taxpayer money for their failing newspapers as a means to shut them up.

Excellent idea #7. Unfortunately the Dems are famous for passing themselves exemptions to most rules, laws, and regulations. Our Mute Speaker of the House will likely build a coalition and consensus in the House of Rinos and Libs. It´s no wonder the Libs still hate Newt. After he took over Congress, he made everyone follow the laws they voted. While many remember the House Bank Scandal, few know that Newt canceled the daily fresh ice delivered to all 500+ members. It was a holdover from the days before refrigeration, when each member needed to cool their gin or scotch (in certain members, both).

The unions had some of the best coverage available all paid for by their employers. The unions got waivers to retain the existing plans until 2014. But now the companies have the ability to terminate the benefits and dump the union members onto the public exchanges. There the members will pay a far larger premium, share of services, and deductible. And if they retain some elements of the previous sweetheart deals, they will be taxed on the full value of the benefit.

Of course the unions want ObamaCare repealed.

Looking back at history, haven´t the unions supported the most evil men to come down the pike? You know the ones who had millions exterminated. Today they are supporters of the Occupy movement. Obviously, they aren´t the kind of people who think things through. They supported Obamacare and now support the immigration bill which are disasters for the working man. They are chumps used by this administration to advance an agenda that will do nothing but harm them. Union management is filled with greedy thugs who will do anything to line their pockets while continuing to enjoy their perks at the expense of those whom they claim to help. They have to keep their members ignorant and fired up all the time. That is why they gravitate to the democrat party. It is the same mindset.

The unions may have helped get obozocare passed, but they were not invited to help write the rules and regulations. As such, this the when they get it shoved to them. They have forgotten that the that the long term objective is to have government controlled socialized healthcare. As such, the rules and regs are written to destroy healthcare as we know it.

And I don´t have any sympathy for the unions.

If the obama administration runs true to form, their first demand will be that these unions get free obamacare, at the expense of the working non-union taxpayer. This will result in the biggest revolt this country has ever seen. I predict 70% of the illegal, unconstitutional IRS forms required by obamacare will not be filled out or mailed in. There will be major dissent and disrespect for a government that deserves nothing but in 2014. Then it will turn bloody.

FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality. It was a world in which “the tide of war is receding” and the United States could, without much risk, radically reduce the size of its armed forces. Other leaders, in this vision, would behave rationally and in the interest of their people and the world. Invasions, brute force, great-power games and shifting alliances — these were things of the past. Secretary of State John F. Kerry displayed this mindset on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday when he

The crisis in Ukraine has brought out a fresh round of critics of President Obama´s foreign policy who see a pattern emerging: the president tries to assert his authority and direct events on the world stage with empty threats, which inevitably have no follow through. With each instance, U.S. power grows weaker as foreign powers view Mr. Obama as the president who cried wolf.
