Palin World Keeps

A group of tea-party activists — the Tea Party Leadership Fund — is trying to draft Sarah Palin to run for Senate in 2014, when incumbent Alaska Democrat Mark Begich is up for reelction. But don’t expect Palin to take the bait. In a statement, her adviser Tim Crawford throws cold water on the speculation. She appreciates the interest, but she doesn’t “support” the effort. Governor Palin is grateful and honored by those Americans who support her and her beliefs. However, the draft Sarah Palin for Senate fundraising campaign initiated by the Tea Party Leadership Fund is not authorized,

I like another posters idea a while back that she run as senator from Arizona. That way we could get Sarah in the senate and retire McCain at the same time; two very worthy goals.
It is a little troubling that she only owns a house in AZ and I dont think lives there, but it was ok for the Hildebeast in NY, so it must be ok far Sarah.
She can make it official by going to s sporting event and wearing a team hat, like HRC did.

#1 Palins been here some, not sure how much. She did go to a Suns game. You´re not officially an Arizonan until you survive a July in the desert. It´s only 100 this week and dry but the valley newcomers are already wilting. I love it!

Sarah certainly does have a loyal following, but not among the "moderate" Republicans i.e. Karl Rove types. If she would run and lose she´d lose her current influence and be reduced to the dustbin of political history like Sharron Angle and Christine O´Donnell. She´s in a good place now and should stay there.

Sarah should continue to chart her own course. She owes nothing to the Republican Party, whose leadership (i.e. Karl Rove, Mitt Romney) chose to oppose and undermine her practically from the moment she appeared on the national scene. Their insistence on preserving the status quo in Washington, elites vs conservatives, helped hand over the fate of the nation to Stinky and his ilk. The decline of America can also be laid at their feet.

Sarah Palin has helped get like-minded people in office, not the least of which is Senator Ted Cruz. Her power to do that will benefit us more, in the long run, than having her in the Senate, as great as that would be.

NEW YORK -- Jenny Baumann´s itinerary for her first trip to New York City: Rockefeller Center. The Empire State Building. Central Park. Night court. In a city synonymous with theaters and nightlife, the 26-year-old from Munich was perched on a scarred wooden bench in a utilitarian room in lower Manhattan on a recent evening, straining to decode - sometimes even to hear - the methodical hubbub of arraignments in one of the nation´s busiest courts. WASHINGTON -- Ever since Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared, a fascinated public has asked: Why can somebody in the cockpit shut off the transponder? It turns out there are several legitimate reasons why a pilot might want to shut off this key form of communication that allows air traffic controllers to identify and track airplanes. Authorities believe that Flight 370´s transponder was intentionally shut off, delaying search and rescue efforts and helping to conceal the plane´s location - a mystery unsolved more than 10 days after the Boeing 777 vanished. It´s rare for a pilot to turn off a transponder during flight, but

Some of history’s greatest advances in public health – especially in regions plagued by insect borne diseases – have come from the judicious use of pesticides to kill or repel the insect vector before it can infect human populations. Because the market for public health pesticides is relatively small, however, most of these vital chemistries were developed for larger agricultural uses. Unfortunately, that source of new products is increasingly under threat from shortsighted environmentalism and the European embrace of “precautionary” regulation. As unpleasant as this cold winter is, at least those annoying mosquitoes have disappeared and won’t be back for

Who killed Kennedy? The CIA. Who introduced AIDS to Africa? The CIA. Sure, it´s crazy talk. But those stories were two of Moscow´s most successful disinformation campaigns during the Cold War. And now Vladimir Putin is reviving these dirty tricks. That´s the argument made in Disinformation: Former Spy Chief Reveals Secret Strategies for Undermining Freedom, Attacking Religion, and Promoting Terrorism, co-authored by Ion Pacepa, an ex-intelligence officer who defected from Romania in 1978, and Ronald Rychlak, a professor at the University of Mississippi. And what´s happened during the Ukraine crisis surely supports their thesis.

Libyan forces fired on the vessel but were called off by the U.S. Navy, fearing an environmental disaster. Canberra, Australia - As police investigate the two pilots of a Malaysian passenger jet that disappeared more than a week ago, a possibility they must consider — however remote and improbable — is that one of them committed suicide — and mass murder in the process. While such incidents have happened before, the topic remains almost taboo, with investigators and officials reluctant to conclude that a pilot purposely crashed a plane in order to commit suicide even when the evidence appears compelling. A dozen years ago, U.S. investigators filed a final report into the 1999 crash of EgyptAir Flight 990,

Why? Weakness. There’s no doubt that Russian President Vladimir Putin long ago sized up President Obama, including his world view, his interest in international affairs and his style of foreign policy–and from that made an assessment. And hours before the doomed flight left Kuala Lumpur it is understood 53-year-old Shah attended a controversial trial in which Ibrahim was jailed for five years. Campaigners say the politician, the key challenger to Malaysia’s ruling party, was the victim of a long-running smear campaign and had faced trumped-up charges. Police sources have confirmed that Shah was a vocal political activist

By now it’s settled on most people, including Democrats, that the loss of Alex Sink to David Jolly in Florida’s 13th Congressional District was, in the words of the New York Times, “devastating” to Democrats. It’s a district Ms. Sink carried in her unsuccessful race for governor against Rick Scott, a district that Barack Obama carried in his two elections, and a district that demographically now favors Democrats. In addition, Ms. Sink raised more money and ran a better campaign than Jolly. Even Bill Clinton lent his efforts to her campaign. And yet she lost. What should particularly alarm Democrats is

One of our planes is missing. That’s basically all we know for certain right now, but more than a week after losing contact with flight MH370, there are a lot of other suggestive bits of information. Unfortunately, a lot of it is, as usual, being reported by news readers who barely understand that you don’t want to keep the pointy end aimed at the ground for an extended time. Here’s some things we do know now. The first indication of trouble was when the transponder stopped responding to radar. This is the point where newspeople are saying it “dropped off the radar,”
