Benghazi Coverup Uncovered
American Thinker, by Clarice Feldman

Original Article

Posted By:DW626, 5/12/2013 5:24:55 AM

BBC has apologized for its coverage of the Benghazi murders; ABC has unraveled the mendacious tale of the talking points ´ genesis and the Congressional hearings this week have dramatically established the administration´s elaborate lies about how our ambassador and his brave defenders were murdered and its failure to protect them. Maybe now the press will feel it´s okay to get off their duffs and report how a thoroughly incompetent administration, motivated solely by self-interest, left our ambassador and others to be murdered and then lied about it with consequences to us all.

Devastating article by Clarice. If anyone still thinks the Hildebeast is presidential material, they belong in a mental hospital.

I still want to know what the President was doing all night long as the four people in Benghazi were fighting for their lives. Did he, indeed, give the order to "stand down"? If so, was he watching the carnage via the drone and why did he decide to let them die.

I don´t really care who changed the talking points.

I find little comfort in seeing the facts of this case being aired (at long last) in the MSM. For one thing, there are still too many "journolistas" who are shading the story in ways that continue to protect Dear Leader. For another, they are still holding back on giving the big picture of which most here are aware, namely, that this "President" and his minions have created a false narrative in which Islamofacists are never identified as such when they murder Americans - whether the outside a military recruiting office, on a military base (Ft. Hood), or amongst the spectators at the Boston Marathon.

Fact is, Zipppy and his administration have squelched any honest discussion of terrorism in the land, whether home-grown or imported.

Just as scary, perhaps even more so, are the increasing instances of the weaving of Sharia and other Islamic practices into the fabric of our once Judeo-Christian culture. Outright hostility towards traditional American values and customs is another piece of the puzzle that, when completed, will reveal a once great nation reduced to the rubble of a Hamas or Al Queda deconstruction site.

I am honestly surprised that Nakoula is still in jail. When you have the President and Secretary of State promising to the survivors of the dead Americans that this filmmaker would be punished with full knowledge that it was part of a cover up, that right there should be enough to get him out as their documented statements do directly to intent of a set up!

Let´s see what happens. I have no faith that the MSM, which is talking of firing a major Benghazi reporter at CBS, that ignored Fast & Furious, that is not coming out with details re; Obama´s horrendous pick from Justice to lead a major part of government, etc. will continue to actually REPORT the news. Just watched Scott Pelley talking about the Press getting news wrong and he talked about Newtown but NOT Benghazi, the IRS scrutiny of Tea Parties status or Fast & Furious. He talked about getting a teacher´s name wrong!

The fact that the present incumbent and his presumptive successor are ´not Presidential material´ is a self evident truth. Still we have an election, a re-election behind us and a threatening succession on the horizon. There are forces at work that seem to be capable of overturning long held common sense political calculus. So ruling out Hillary or Moochelle (yes, Flip Wilson in drag - that one) might be premature. This is going to be a long and bitter battle even if it is won.

Excellent article and great comments afterwards. This Mother´s Day will be very extremely difficult for so many mothers in this country whose sons and daughters have been sacrificed on the altar of protecting the "religion of peace" by our President, Secretarty of State, military leaders, and the mainstream media. This country has always had a strong moral compass and willingness to call evil by its name. The broader picture as I see it is that after 9/11/2001, we have allowed political correctness to infestate our society. When we can name the enemy, then we will have success in defeating it. Winning the hearts and minds has shown to be a dangerous and mostly ineffective strategy. It is time to demand justice for the lives lost in Benghazi and also for the SEALS and the support team who were sacrified in the Tangi Valley, Afghanistan. I would love to believe that the Benghazi tragedy would be a turning point. We need to expose this administrations willingness to protect Islam by sacrificing American lives. Let Benghazi be that impetus.

Here´s what difference it makes, and the press needs to get on it: Right now we have a voluntary military. That is a blessing beyond description, even though it is taken completely for granted by Liberal Americans every day of the week.

In order for this to continue, we desperately need to be 100% certain that our children, husbands, wives, etc are given EVERY BIT of protection we can give them in EVERY circumstance.

Obama and Clinton have demonstrated that they value their own political futures more than the very LIVES of those who voluntarily serve our Country.

Nobody will serve a Country that doesn´t have their backs, and as someone who was subject to the draft and the division of the Country many years ago, I am sickened by the lack of honor that these two have shown.

What difference does it make ? A HUGE difference. They let these folks DIE without giving everything they´ve got to save them. Who can now volunteer with confidence ?

the msm is so predictable and insult our intelligence daily. I hold them in utter contempt. They knew all this in late summer I said they would cover it up until after Obama was safely back in office and then report on it....maybe. Now, did I say this because I am so smart? No. I said it because I have lived through this MY WHOLE DAMN LIFE. I was born in november of 1959 and the election of 1960 was a media campaign for Kennedy and it just never ends. I can pick an example or 100 examples out of every single year. How about 1992 when the media hammered at Clinton´s chosen theme "worst economy since the great depression" which was by no empirical measure accurate. In fact, the economy had been growing for 22 months (with low inflation and low interest rates for borrowing but decent for return on investments) before clinton took office. Yet the day after he was elected, the NY Times had a cover story about the Clinton recovery. You read that right. Not the day after he took office (absurd enough), the day after he was elected!!! Giving him credit for the previous 22 months of growth that occurred before he even announced he was running. Got all week? I can keep going. I worked at Time magazine (thank you for your sympathy) during the campaign of 1996 and saw how the editorial board campaigned for Clinton. My only solace is that today Access Hollywood has more political influence than does Time.

Sunday mornings are always better when there is a Clarice Feldman article in the Must Reads.

I especially feel encouraged by the Clarice´s conclusion. Even in gangs the followers get tired of the disloyalty of the leader and a new leader emerges when the "soldiers" mutiny.
Such a faithless administration with its already demonstrated willingness to cast blame on others and to sacrifice those lower down the totem pole does not inspire loyalty.

“House Speaker John Boehner is facing mounting pressure to create a special or select committee to investigate the Benghazi terror attacks in which four Americans were killed.”

John Boehner should be the one spearheading this effort!!! And not someone who has to be pressured to create a special or select committee. He should be using all of his energy to push this forward until it happens. But after watching John Boehner over the past few months has convinced me that he is temperamentally unsuited to the job. We need an aggressive Speaker of the House who does not need to be prodded to show his fangs when necessary. We need more of a pit bull than a toy poodle.

I´ve been praying at some point America would wake up to this incompetent administration. It took the death of the border guard, the death of four Americans in Benghazi, the targeting of WE conservatives by the IRS. and the thief of the stimulus money to finally wake US up....

Each time I see Carney on the television -- I expect lies to fall from his lips. Not one thing he says is true -- and -- now he´s become irrevant. I can´t see any press conference being credible.

They lie about everything....

Perhaps it´s finally time to check this impostor´s records. Where, what, and with whom he lived before he became the darling of the demorats...i.e. the "selected won"....

At the top of this dung heap is Barack Hussein Obama. He nominated Clinton and Panetta. He sat at the head of the table at Cabinet meetings. He was briefed by them. He is ultimately responsible. His behavior here was reprehensible as well. He is the one who went incommunicado in order to rest up for a fundraiser. This was a dereliction of duty. He also continued propagating the lies in speech after speech long after the truth was known. This episode will be noted by historians as the low point of a multitude of low points. One can only hope a whistle-blower closer to the West Wing will emerge.

Free Nakoula! He might be in custody for breaking terms of his parole but he is an innocent person jailed because of this.

Perhaps we can raise money for his defense against the government by some entreprenour coming up "Free Nakoula" shirts. Perhaps people might be entreated to know who this patsy is.

Let´s connect a few dots for the enemedia, fka MSM......

Is it any big leap to realize that if this Administration lied about this, for gain, that they may have been lying about the election in question? Its results, its methods, its turnout....?

A (now) known liar has one constant: LYING.

Look further, MSM. You´ll find more.... much more. No doubt about it.

THINK, MSM. THINK! USE your God-given abilities (yes! I said that!) for rational thought processing.

It´s OK. You´ll be OK. Is he really ´´all that´´? Is he really all that believable? Or is she?

Look what you´ve done. Look what you´re doing!

I´m with other posters about the changes in the talking points. That´s minor but a little important. This is about a terrorist attack and murders of Americans with two top people in government complicit in those murders.
The very end of the article asks the question was this a Middle East Fast and Furious? Did Obama get exposed by this terrorist attack like F&F on the Mexico border? Therefore Stevens had to die. This house that Stevens was in was poorly secured and looked more like his base of operations to move or secure Ghadaffi´s weapons for rebels in Syria. Stevens was the only person who could expose the operation. Obama knew this and gave the order to stand down then retired to bed.
Benghazi is serious and it is not a political scandal like Watergate or Lewinskigate it´s about murder and it lands on two people´s heads.
Nakoula is this administration´s first ´political´ prisoner. Will there be more?

Impeachment points off the top of my head:

Ignored judges order during oil spill.

Illegal gun running - Fast and Furious

Committed war on a country(Libya) without congressional approval.

Benghazi: Morally: ..let ambassador die.
Legally: covered up incompetence in matter and LIED to America on TV etc.

Use IRS to go after political enemies.

I know there are many more, if I think back
the last 5 years.

Benghazi - 4 Watergate - 0.

I disagree.

Clarice has part of the story.

The real story lies in the essential question - "What was Hillary Clinton up to frantically traveling the world for four years?"

Fact - She and Bill created a new political dynamic by seducing foreign powers around the world to get involved in selecting our President by cutting deals for campaign money, soft money, hard money, news-support, cultural support and most especially - access to foreign intelligence agencies output.

Hillary arrives on scene and immediately foreign sovereign nations start killing their own people, blowing up, assassinating their top people ... all in all you have to ask the question ...

Where did poverty stricken backwater people get the funds and weapons to do this?

Answer - Hillary Clinton

Next Question - Why? And is it Constitutional?

Third Question - What has she done to us vis a vis The Muslim Brotherhood.

Clarice is sharp, but she´s not there yet

FACT: The most damning facts are not known. I´d like to pose a question that everyone should ask themselves: "What if Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods had lived - having successfully beaten back the attack?" This would have been really unseemly!

They were spotlighting where the enemy was. Why would they do that unless they knew that a "friendly" was in the air? Unfortunately, they were also spotlighting their positions. What if they weren´t killed by the Libyan attackers at all.

Think about that. I wouldn´t put a thing past this administration. Look what they did to Seal Team 6.

Thread from The New Yorker
SPINNING BENGHAZI
POSTED BY ALEX KOPPELMAN

dashark24 minutes ago
This is what really happened at Benghazi as told by a White House aide:

"On that day Obama arrived at the White House at 5:40 pm and was met by several Generals and Cabinet members.
They told him our Embassy in Benghazi was being attacked & showed him the desperate requests for help by Ambassador Stevens and other Embassy personnel.
Calmly Obama went to the Situation Room with them sat down and saw the attack in real time; a drone was feeding the White House with real time video of the Benghazi attack.
When AlQaida started using RPG´s the Ambassador made his last request for help. General Ham handed the note to Obama and said He could sent in the Marines.....Obama face became purple with anger and shouted :"Stand down General...Stand down" ...There was silence in the room, the military were astounded at Obama´s treasonous lack of action to save Americans in peril.
Minutes after the Ambassador was captured, raped and killed, the rest of the Americans were also raped and killed but one was beheaded by the furious AlQaida mob..
When the attack was over and the Ambassador was being dragged on the streets ....Obama calmly got up, smiled, left the room and went to bed. It was almost 3 am.
The next day Obama jumped on Air Force 1 and left for Vegas to party with Beyonce and Jay-Z"

America was in mourning, sad and humiliated

I would like to focus on the one point that Carney said was allowed to be changed in the talking points--that the consulate was incorrectly identified and was actually a "diplomatic facility". Why do you think the administration would allow this change to be recognized? Because if it was a consulate it was required to meet certain specific construction protocal and since it didn´t it could be faulted as a failure by the administration or State Dept. What it was was a gun running operation to supply rebels in Syria. This too needs to be revealed. The embassy is located in Tripoli, a long way from Benghazi and a long distance to commute in an unstable country.

#2 wants to know what Obama was doing or not doing the night of the attacks. Oddly, no one seems to remember the next day 9/12/12 the White House issued a press release covering the one hour telephone conversation Obama had the previous evening with Bebe Netanyahu. The issue is not ?what difference does it make," it is the indifference shown at every level during the critical hours of the attack.

When action could make a difference, the only man alive who could have ordered and overseen counter military operations was off making irrelevant phone calls on intractable problems stretching back generations and going forward generations, and no doubt going over the campaign-funding speech for tomorrow in Las Vegas.

Hillary Clinton is not only not "presidential material" ... she was never Secretary of State material, nor Senate material either.

Remember her firing of the innocent White House Travel Office workers? And her siccing the FBI on the blameless Billy Dale et al for alleged crimes? (An incident that I believe foreshadows her vindictive behavior toward Benghazi whistleblowers).

Few seem to know that prosecutors determined that Hillary lied under oath about Whitewater/Rose Law Firm crimes. She escaped indictment only because prosecutors knew that a D.C. jury would not convict Hillary,

Then we had Hillary´s "dodging sniper´s bullets in Bosnia" lie. How in God´s name could she be nominated for Secretary of State, after such an insult to her Bosnian hosts (not to mention our own services, who were protecting her as First Lady) ?

Well, of course we know the answer: Her MSM acolytes cover up and conveniently "forget" Hillary´s lies and crimes. So down the memory hole they go.

The timeline indicates a 15 hour window where the Commander in Chief was
apparently out of the loop during an international crisis which resulted
in the murder of four Americans.
The death toll could have been much higher.
The timeline I found for the night of the attack
indicates that the body of Ambassador Stevens
was discovered sometime between 7 and 8 pm EST.
The White House released a statement that Obama was informed
that Ambassador Stevens had been found and was dead ,
in the morning when he awoke the next day .
What time does this guy go to bed ? 7:30 ???
The testimony by Panetta and the others in the chain is proof positive that Obama
is absolutely guilty of Dereliction of Duty.
I don´t see how the House Republicans can avoid
filing Articles of Impeachment.
It´s a slam dunk .
The Secretary of Defense testified before the Senate on his contact with the CINC during the crisis.
He met with Obama during a previously scheduled meeting at 5pm
at which time they knew the attack had begun .

AYOTTE: Did he ask you how long it would take to deploy
assets, including armed…

PANETTA: No,
AYOTTE: Did you have any further communications with him that night?

PANETTA: No.

AYOTTE: Did you have any other further communications? Did he ever call you that night to say, “How are things going? What’s going on? Where’s the consulate?”

PANETTA: No,...
AYOTTE: Did you communicate with anyone else at the White House that night?

PANETTA: No.

AYOTTE: No one else called you to say, “What — How are things going?”

PANETTA: No.

In my opinion, the reason the press (and the Administration) have been able to get away with avoiding the Benghazi coverup is because the Republicans have not properly framed the central issue. Thus far they have framed it as a search for accountability for decisions made or not made, and the press has interpreted this as a blame game for political reasons.

The proper framing that no politician or media person could avoid is: "Will or will not the government of the United States make every possible effort to protect and rescue American citizens under attack, whether they be an ambassador, soldier, or diner waitress, anywhere in the world...no matter how difficult, whether day or night, not matter the political consequences? Yes or No?"

Once that core defining question is addressed, there is no escaping the necessary pursuit of the chain of events, the decisions, and the decision-makers in this case.

#37, what you posted sounds very plausible. I had imagined that BHO was getting a little love from Reggie and could not be disturbed over some violence in a far off place, but perhaps not.

Has anybody else corroborated this claim that General Ham was specifically told by Obama himself to stand down?

Waterboard her... it moisturizes like a facial; she´ll need a facelift for 2016...
Send her to Gitmo... The Gitmo Diet is guaranteed to drop pounds and inches...

And mebbe she´d feel a bit more like telling the TRUTH about Benghazi...

#23, 30 - I´ve been thinking the same thing. The article states Hillary! used the video excuse before 6 p.m. The Cairo Embassy first used it early in the day on Sept. 11, even before followers of the Blind Sheik breached their grounds. (Action to lay the foundation for a "prisoner exchange" of the Sheik for Stevens?)

Did they just randomly pick a video off the Internet? I doubt that. I submit the video excuse was part of the cover story as to how the ambassador was "kidnapped". Even when things went horribly wrong (or maybe they did want Stevens dead), they stuck with he video excuse. And they stuck with that excuse in front of the caskets, the grieving families, and even to the United Nations.

As to the video maker, we know he was convicted of fraud and used computers to perpetrate his crime, hence the parole requirement that he not use the Internet. A pretty convenient parole condition that allowed them to swoop him into custody four days after the attack, and just 24 hours after he was publicly identified. Did he even have a parole hearing? I don’t remember one. Where are his lawyers or his family decrying his defamation at the hands of the President? I haven’t seen any stories about the Egyptian since his arrest. Its possible he was an operative for the cabal and told to make a cheap video. I doubt they told him why. He either went down as a patsy, or he’s in the witness protection program and enjoying a new life with a fat bank account.

My apologies if he is truly a political prisoner of this evil regime.

Meanwhile, most of us with intelligence and pride in our heritage and country want those two left-wing Marxist-loving Alinsky-loving "cultural marxists" Obama and Clinton to lose their jobs and go to jail..these two grifters took an OATH and promptly broke that oath and should be punished severely for all their LIES! We know that! So what in Hades is wrong with McPain? HE DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME! Does he speak for any of us here? I doubt it....

A major concern of progressives is their supposed interest in the fate of the poor. They purport to be the champions of the poor. But the truth is that they need the poor more than the poor need them, in a symbiotic relationship. As much as 75% of the money allocated to the poor is consumed by the vast bureaucracies that administer this aid. These agencies are actually job programs for college graduates who would often find it difficult to find employment in the private sector. Early on in the Genesis chapter of the Bible much is made of Adam giving names to all living creatures. Like everything about the Bible, the meaning of this event is subject to many interpretations, the most often given is that it signals man’s dominion over the other creatures of the earth. I don’t dispute that reading, but to me, the naming description signifies that there can be no real communication among people unless the names we use mean the same thing to all of us. A spade certainly is a garden implement, but if you are in the gardening

In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle.
