A new ‘Dawn’ at ABC:
Newsman becomes newswoman

New York Post, by Tara Palmeri

Top ABC News editor Don Ennis walked into his Manhattan office on Friday in a “little black dress” and a brunette bobbed wig and announced to colleagues that from now on, he would like to be known as Dawn. The 49-year-old father of three said he’s splitting from his wife of 17 years to become a woman, or Dawn Stacey Ennis, as she is now known on her governmental records. “Today I begin anew,” she wrote on her Facebook timeline, where she debuted a flirty new profile picture. “Please understand: This is not a game of

Since this guy, or girl, or whatever, is a "top news editor" it gives you a clue as to why their reporting is so biased. In a time gone buy, he would have quietly done this in private and not have it broadcasted all over the world. My how times have changed, and not for the good.

And... another ´it´ is born. Isn´t diversity beautiful - NOT! This kind of thing is just UGLY. So if a black man couldn´t stand his own skin color and was able to change it to white, would he be as greatly cheered by the progressive/liberal/Marxist/socialist/Democrat cartel?

Have noticed there has never been a story about a starving Ethiopian as a ´transgender?´ Perhaps all this convincing so-called evidence is simply mental illness affecting the weak-minded and, most often, those seeking some perverse form of attention and acceptance.

And what´s with the cutesy name changes? Don becomes Dawn. Richard becomes Renee. Sam becomes Susan. If these people are in fact undergoing a total life transformation why are they relying on such frivolous re-branding? Isn´t choosing a new name as important as the right dress for these queens?

So, someone born a man, with the sex organs of a man, the DNA of a man, can, by simply taking drugs and having surgery to lop off certain body parts become a woman. And yet we´re told that homosexuals are born that way and can´t change?

FTA: "Ennis said she suffers from an “unusual hormonal imbalance,” and blames her mother, who fed her female hormones as a child to prolong a commercial acting career. The hormones made the little boy look and sound young, but Ennis said she eventually developed breasts.
Doctors can’t explain or remedy her condition, and she’s been undergoing hormone-replacement therapy to maintain “mysteriously a more female than male body.”
“I have a rare medical condition — nothing deadly or infectious — but it has resulted in an unusual hormonal imbalance, ” she said. “One so profound that I don’t resemble the man you first met 10 years ago.”

Thoughts: Oh, you mean men and women really are different? They aren´t interchangeable? Like, sex makes a difference in defining marriaage?

Finally - does anyone else wonder if long-term use of hormone-based birth control pills have any effect on unborn children, thus explaining the rise in the numbers of gender-confused children and adults?

Back in the early 1970s, I saw quite a few articles speculating that might actually happen. And, speculating what might be the results of all those hormones being "recycled" into the water supply through water/sewage reclamation.

Enough years have passed to study the effect, but I doubt we´ll ever see any research. Birth Control pills are the "golden calf" of a large portion of the population.

On the crowded ship SS Leftard it is difficult to stick out from all the other mass-produced homogenized trendy lefties that have gone through the manufacturing process at any of the homogenized, cookie-cutter Universities with their roster of America-hating faculty. You say you love Obama? --Yawn-- so do all the others. You say you´ll tell any lie and even die for The Party? --Yawn-- so do all the others. You say you hate guns? --Yawn-- so do all the others. Etc.

So if you want to stand out, you have to ferret out any hidden corner of the leftist landscape. And you have to admit that this change, which embraces the popular leftist themes of castration and preferred gender, is relatively unpursued, up until now. I can hardly wait until Dan Rather announces...

And now they´re reporting egg protein appearing in the testicles. Uh-oh.

ZERO.

Discussion of the "WHY" and the other details of this particular case of mental illness are amazingly uninteresting.

I´m thinking the decision to go female came first about 10 years ago--and he/she is having hormone therapy to reduce his testosterone and add estrogen. He/she probably fooled his family for a decade. Author’s Note: This week, capitulating to Islamic-supremacist agitation led by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Brandeis University reneged on its announced plan to present an honorary degree to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the heroic human-rights activist. In my 2010 book, The Grand Jihad, I devoted a chapter to the origins and purposes of CAIR, its roots in the Muslim Brotherhood’s Hamas-support network, and its aim to silence critics of Islamic supremacism. In light of the continuing success of this campaign — despite a federal terrorism-financing prosecution that exposed CAIR’s unsavory background — it is worth revisiting that history. What follows

Despite the testimony of GM CEO Mary Barra that the company "acted without hesitation" to address the ignition switch problems that served as the basis for the latest recall of millions of vehicles, emails show that GM failed to address product problems, some of which Barra herself seemed fully aware of, at least as far back as 2011. The company, often derided as "Government Motors" because of the billions of tax dollars infused into it by President Obama, has been under fire this month because of ignition switch problems linked to dozens of crashes and perhaps as many as 13 deaths.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke via satellite to attendees of San Diego’s Western Healthcare Leadership Academy on Apr. 11, just days after canceling plans to attend in person. Two protest groups gathered outside the San Diego Convention Center for the conference, but for two different reasons. One group of 10-15 demonstrators, promoting a single-payer healthcare system, stood across from the Convention Center. While playing a recording of the folk tune “Medicare for All,” the group spoke to passing pedestrians for approximately two hours. The other protest, directly in front of the Convention Center,

The Justice Department says a 29-foot war memorial cross on a San Diego mountain is not an unconstitutional promotion of Christianity and should remain on federal property. The Obama administration said an appeals court ruling declaring the cross on Mount Soledad a violation of the constitutional separation of church and state undermined an act of Congress and conflicted with recent Supreme Court decisions. But, in a filing Monday to the nation´s highest court, it said an appeal should first be considered by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals because there is no imminent risk that the cross is removed. A new report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service finds that solar facilities in California are acting like “mega traps” that kill and injure birds. As a result, “entire food chains” are being disrupted. USFWS’s National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory studied three solar farms in Southern California: Desert Sunlight, Genesis Solar and Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System (ISEGS). Two-hundred and thirty-three different birds from 71 species were found over the course of a two-year study. The three main causes of death were: 1. Solar flux: Exposure to temperatures over 800 degrees F. 2. Impact (or blunt force) trauma:

Climate Change Gets Big-Budget

Climate change is one of the issues at the top of President Barack Obama’s agenda, and now it’s getting big budget treatment in Hollywood, at least by documentary standards. A nine-part series called “Years of Living Dangerously” will debut this Sunday evening on Showtime–emphasizing stories “from the front lines” of climate change impact. The first episode, now available online, stars actors Harrison Ford and Don Cheadle, two of the series’ correspondents. “It’s the biggest story out there,” said James Cameron, an executive producer of the series, in an interview. Mr. Cameron, who became one of the most successful men in

A nine-month-old boy who appeared in Pakistan charged with attempting to murder police officers has been cleared, following a week-long police investigation. Baby Muhammad Mosa Khan was accused of being part of a ruthless gang of gas thieves who tried to kill police by hurling stones at them during a raid. Last week he was pictured at court in Lahore sitting on his grandfather´s lap, contentedly sucking on a bottle of milk as the charges against him were read out. A Pakistani lawyer said the judge announced the decision after Saturday´s court hearing during which police said it had dropped the charge

Who throws a shoe? Honestly! That would be 36-year-old Alison Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, who was charged Thursday night with disorderly conduct by the Las Vegas Police Department after allegedly throwing a shoe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to NBC News, who spoke with a Secret Service official, the U.S. Attorney’s office has declined federal prosecution. Ernst was wearing shoes on Thursday night when she attended a speech Clinton was giving in Las Vegas, but apparently brought an extra one specifically to throw at the former secretary of state. The official said the incident appeared to be “premeditated.”

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

Let me obliterate a bit of confusion here: the Obama administration attempted to go to war with a rancher in Nevada. Let me amplify a little bit of truth: They tucked tail and have returned home. And let me add a bit of clarity: they had no choice! As the nation began to become familiar with the plight of the family of Cliven Bundy, many of us harkened back to another standoff in which the Federal government attempted to bully it´s outcome: Waco, Texas and the Branch Davidian massacre. It is telling that in the Nevada case the feds pulled out so

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving

The last rancher in southern Nevada has won his battle to graze cows on public land after a week-long stand off with federal agents. The Bureau of Land Management today said it would stop trying to seize the cattle of Cliven Bundy after armed militia members today continuing to gather in Nevada in a confrontation with federal agents. BLM Director Neil Kornze said: ´Based on information about conditions on the ground, and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of

Because you can find anything on the Web, you can easily search and pull up a running clock that tells you just how long, to the second, Barack Obama has been president. It moves in real time. It only feels like it´s speeding up. Constrained by crises over which he has little power to impact events, hemmed in by a divided Congress more interested in scoring points with voters than in legislating, and watching as his potential successor assumes more and more of the political spotlight, Obama may be receding into history more quickly than either he or his aides ever anticipated. It was impossible to listen to the president's speech Thursday
