Wrapping up a report on Monday´s NBC Nightly News about a fresh round of congressional hearings on the Benghazi terrorist attack, correspondent Andrea Mitchell dismissed the development as political posturing by the House GOP: "There is an obvious political undercurrent. Republicans are taking direct aim at Hillary Clinton, the country´s most popular Democrat and a possible presidential contender." [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump] Mitchell began the report by noting new testimony from Gregory Hicks, the State Department´s deputy mission chief in Tripoli, Libya at the time of the Benghazi attack, "who said he called

Why don´t we interview the father of, was it, Sean Woods ? I get my names mixed up, but I doubt he feels "political" about his son´s death.

Hahahahahahahaha. The politics card is just as meaningless and devoid of content as the race card.

Every crooked black office holder claims he is being prosecuted because he is black, accompanied by the "amen" chorus led by black pundits and columnists, until he is found guilty and led off to prison. Similarly, every crooked white democrat office holder claims he is being investigated for political reasons, accompanied by the "amen" chorus of liberal "journalists" and pundits, until he is found guilty and censured (or, as in Bill Clinton´s case, actually disbarred).

Joining in one of the choruses, or in this case leading it, marks one as a stupid and frivolous person. Listen for others to declare themselves.

Who you gonna believe, these whistle blowers or the wife of a serial womanizer who fell for his lies for decades.

The whistle blowers or a First Lady who claimed all her husband´s problems were due to a right wing conspiracy?

The whistle blowers or the First Lady who hid law records in the White House from investigative authorities.

The whistle blowers or a First Lady who wanted to give cronies the Travel Office contract for the White House and tried to have the people in place arrested and sent to prison with false allegations. (Government had to end up paying their legal bills).

Believe the whistle blowers or a woman who used insider trading in the market.

The whistle blowers or a First Lady who stood by her husband after he exposed himself to a young woman while governor. Or sexually assaulted a woman in the Oval Office.

Does it give you confidence in our voters when this person is the most loved politician?

A new Republican poll shows Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) in a potentially tough spot for reelection, with more than half of respondents open to reelecting a new senator next year. The survey, from GOP firm Magellan Strategies, reveals 51 percent of respondents say it´s "time to give a new person a chance" in office. Thirty-nine percent agreed that Landrieu has performed her job well enough to "deserve to be reelected." Though those numbers are bad news for Landrieu, they´re not a clear indication half of Louisiana voters will vote to oust her.

Undocumented immigrants with temporary legal status soon will be allowed to pay in-state tuition rates at all Ohio public colleges as long as they meet other residency requirements. Until now, most of the state’s public two- and four-year schools have charged those students out-of-state or international rates that can be as much as three times what Ohio students pay. Today, Ohio Board of Regents Chancellor John Carey sent a letter notifying the state’s college presidents about the change, after state Attorney General Mike DeWine determined that immigrant students now may qualify for in-state tuition.
