Last week I wrote specifically about the pitiful coverage of the Boston marathon terror attacks and the continual denial by the mainstream media of possible Islamic involvement. In a perverse way this dereliction of journalistic duty while reprehensible is understandable because the press lapdogs of this administration do not want to admit that Obama´s PC national security policies involving Muslims might have contributed to the Boston attack. We know the media is spineless. However its neglect to report on the Gosnell abortion trial shows that they have lost any moral compass they ever had just to cover up Obama's strong support of the abortion industry.
FTA: "What a bunch of hypocrites there are in the mainstream media. I´ve been reading their excuses and apologies for shirking their responsibility in ignoring the trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell."
I´m nobody and can spot the lying of their faux liberal excuses about failing to cover this horrendous evil trial, day-after-day as it should be. As unspeakable the acts committed by Kermit Gosnell, silencing yourselves to protect abortion rights, makes all your madness deafening. Fortunately, God hears all, including the heartbeat of each child, until it is stopped intentionally by true monsters amongst US.
The fourth estate has been the fifth column for generations. Their transgressions are simply too gargantuan and too numerous for any of us to wrap our arms around. They´ve lied through their teeth, withheld the truth, reported the party line, and pushed the progressive agenda. That´s why the grey lady is sinking, because the few literate people left in this country just can´t believe what they read or hear from the MSM. What´s to comment on? It´s the same old same old...
"Spineless" is one thing, and almost forgivable. Intentional lies and cover-ups serving Dear Leader is another thing, and not forgivable. And professionally, the rampant corruption in the MSM should lead to a tsunami of indictable offenses. Oh, for the good old days when media was merely "biased" and "spineless"...
First you start with weak minded young activists and indoctrinate them with mind numbing progressive thought. Teach them not to think for themselves. Teach them to read the script with a straight face as if it were the truth. Then you provide them with carefully devised script fresh every morning. The unthinking part of the population hears the same story from all sources and so falls under their spell. Inspired by dark forces, good has become evil and evil becomes good. Democrats win the White House where a bumbling street agitator now sits on the throne wasting the treasury and calling for revenge.
One of the founders of NARAL said in order to get the cooperation of the Media the claim was made that 10,000 women annually died from illegal abortions although the actual figure was about 200. Having been born in 1921 I was around during the time that abortion was illegal. As I have said before, if thousands of women were dying I would have noticed it. It just was not happening. I knew women who got abortions. From what they said it was no walk in the park, but I don´t think making it legal has made it any easier.
Here´s your answer Alicia of the Irish Examiner -- they -- the media -- have invested all their mind and soul in electing obama and his socialist views. Part of that "view" includes maintaining the "woman´s" vote for the demorats. After all Mrs. bubba clinton is running for the next opening at the White House in 2016.
Joe Six/pack is paying for that legal beagle´s birth/control pills because the demorats need the young woman´s vote for 2014.....
This trial of the baby murderer was never about justice for the babies -- it was about votes for demorats....
#17. My mother told me access to abortion was comparable to getting good booze during prohibition- or getting good pot today. You had to know somebody who knew the doctor in town who would perform them. "Back Alley" referred to how these services were done after hours for patients who had to come and go via the back door. Those doctors could lose their license and go to jail if they got careless so they were pretty careful. Ironically we have seen that no one today seems to care if the abortionists meet even minimum standards of medical competence.

Abortion is murder. And the women who murder their children, often without the knowledge or consent of the father are guilty of a horrific crime. They should also be put to death. There are too many people in the world and getting rid of anyone who is guilty of murder would help alleviate the problem.
We women are hard-wired to want to protect our young. In order to do an abortion, you don´t just kill the baby, you first kill that part of a normal woman that cares about her baby. The media and popular culture have done a good job of that with a large portion of our population. What you have left when "natural affection" -- to use Timothy´s words -- is a bit of a monster.
One aspect of this trial that Ms. Colon does not touch upon is the race of the women, the children and the abortionist. Where is the black community when so quick to scream (at much less outrages) when they perceive unequal treatment, bias, etc?
The media of our founders were the watchdogs of government (at least in theory). By the 1800´s the media had devolved into over-the-top sensationalism and yellow journalism. Today they are simply spinmeisters for the Democrat party. They spin and omit all in the service of party. If the abortion story or F&F or Benghazi could harm the party it´s omitted or spun. To spin stories they will report on people´s reaction to the non-coverage of a story, like Gosnell, but not the actual facts of the case. Like they cover Sarah Palin. They will report that she gave a speech but not details of what she said. Search engines will then show that they did cover it, albeit dishonestly. They are what they are but we have hope. Our alternative media now serve as "their" watchdogs.
AS I´ve posted in the past, I would have any and all who preform an abortion arrested and tried for 1st degree murder. And the expectant mother also. They both planed the death of a child. Also, any other people and organizations involved with the procedure would be tried as accessories to murder. And the penalties would be very hard.
It is continually said that women should have the right to choose. This line of thinking goes against every thing I believe.
I believe that our bodies don´t belong to us but God. What we do with them should always reflect Him. Beginning to end.
Liberals put themselves beyond God. They think they are smarter than Him or don´t even think He exists. They want you to live for the moment never for Him.
The President has put several issues on the front burner that make me realize that he lives for the moment. Sometimes the President even comes across that he is smarter than God. People should revere Obama because he is the next best thing to God.
Consider, like a game, for the enjoyable purposes of argument, that Diane Sawyer, Tom Brokaw, Brian Williams, Steve Pelley, Anderson Cooper, Stephanopolis, Piers Morgan, Couric, David Letterman, Steve Kroft, Barbara Walters. Charlie Rose and all network vice president news bosses, are all sworn in blood Communists, members of the American Communist Party. Consider, just for the moment, as an exercise, that they are all sworn to mafia-like secrecy to follow the Party Line, to do as much destruction to this great country as their Communist bosses, sponsors and overloads order them to do. The wonderful writer, Alicia Colon calls them “spineless”. It could simply be imagined that they are all brutal, reckless, mafia style destroyers of society. This is just an exercise only, but once they are considered in a terrifying light, as committed, sworn to secrecy Communists, doesn´t every deception, omission, censoring thing they do and say, suddenly make complete sense? The defense rests.
Communist destroyers, who falsely call themselves, liberals, don´t want the most brutal criminals executed under the law, don´t even want terrorist murderers tortured in water, but they all want live babies murdered and the government to pay. Quality truth tellers like Alicis Colon, are not allowed on TV. Spoiled little Islamist Hussein did not get through his childhood difficulties, like all baby killers with rocky childhood years, he´s taking out his rage with murderous revenge
I’ve never been flogged in the public square, but now I have a rough idea what it’s like. On Thursday, Harvey Weinstein, the US distributor of the Judi Dench-Steve Coogan film “Philomena,” placed a full-page, color attack ad in The New York Times that screamed my name in blood-red letters. “The New York Times, Los Angeles Times and USA Today ALL PRAISE ‘PHILOMENA’ WITH A 92 % CERTIFIED FRESH SCORE ON Rotten Tomatoes,” read the ad. “BUT THE NEW YORK POST’S KYLE SMITH HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION. ‘ANOTHER HATEFUL ATTACK ON CATHOLICS.’ ” The ad (now brightening the wall over
Dayna Morales, the server who claimed last month to have been left a note about her “lifestyle” instead of a tip, was fired from her restaurant Sunday, and is reportedly returning the donations she received in the outpouring of sympathy after her story went viral. Morales, an openly-gay server at Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater, NJ became a cause celebre after she posted a receipt informing her she had not been tipped because of her lifestyle. But her story began to unravel when the couple who left the receipt disputed Morales’ story, and provided bank statements showing they had in fact tipped
Following his lengthy interview with President Obama, Chris Matthews attacked his GOP opponents as less patriotic than Nelson Mandela‘s opponents. Mark Levin took Matthews to the woodshed on Friday for this rather strenuous comparison. Levin said at the outset that Matthews is most assuredly “off his rocker,” and took a shot at the “conga line of freaks” at MSNBC before playing the audio of Matthews attacking Obama’s opponents. Levin called him “one sick S.O.B.” and a “little puke” for having the gall to attack any critics of the president when he and his “left-wing kooks” did everything in their power to
The White House on Friday criticized as inaccurate a report in POLITICO Magazine claiming that President Barack Obama and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius met just once since the signing of the Affordable Care Act more than three years ago. “The published report that was written by an advocate is based on a ridiculously false premise,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said during a press briefing. “Cabinet secretaries don’t regularly get entered into the White House visitors logs, [though] they come frequently. Kathleen Sebelius comes frequently, and she meets frequently with the president.”
PACHUCA, Mexico — Federal police blocked access Friday to a central Mexico hospital where six people were reported to have been admitted with radiation exposure. An official familiar with the case confirmed Mexican media reports that the six have been admitted to the general hospital in the city of Pachuca and may have been exposed to a stolen source of cobalt-60. The official, who spoke Friday on condition of anonymity because she was not authorized to speak to the media, said only one person was dizzy and vomiting, which are symptoms of radiation poisoning.
One of the patients featured in the TIME cover story I wrote last March--"Bitter Pill: Why Medical Bills Are Killing Us"--was Emilia Gilbert, a school-bus driver. Gilbert was 61 years old in 2008 when she slipped and fell one evening in her backyard in Fairfield, Conn. She was taken to the emergency room at Bridgeport Hospital, where she was treated for some cuts and a broken nose. She left a few hours later with a bill for $9,418, which included $6,538 for CT scans and $239 for a routine blood test. The charges, I found, were based on something called
Fox News Channel host Geraldo Rivera and the hosts of Fox & Friends openly mocked MSNBC and host Chris Matthews on Friday for his performance during an exclusive interview with President Barack Obama. Rivera called Matthews a “fan” of the president and the hosts dismissed the network as a place that does not specialize in “objective” analysis. Rivera reacted to Matthews’ interview of the president by saying that he has worked with the MSNBC host in the past and likes him personally. “But to pretend that Chris is a journalist, per se, I think that’s sort of artificial,” Rivera observed. “He’s a
For almost a decade now, Chris Matthews has served as a barometer for baby-boom progressives´ attitude toward Barack Obama -- from the "thrill" that went up his leg when he heard the presidential candidate speak in 2008 to the utter disappointment following last October´s debate in Denver. That´s why Matthews´ interview with Obama, which takes place at 2 p.m. today and airs at 7 p.m. on MSNBC, is a crucial one for the president, and for MSNBC. For Obama: The last time the MSNBC vet interviewed Obama, at West Chester University in 2008, it was a love-in, the "thrill" having traveled up
After the 2012 presidential election failed to go their way, Republicans were reminded ad nauseam that Barack Obama had built a winning collection of supporters and that the GOP had not. The Democratic coalition, insisted partisans both inside and outside the media, spelled potential death for the GOP and for the conservative ideology that generally underpins it. The Republican party was just too old, too white, and too male — three terrible things to be, naturally — and it was destined to be buried by demographics. As the year came to a close, and everyone tried his hand at a
It seems the Super Bowl has fallen victim to political correctness. They’ve decided to ban a pro-Second Amendment – and pro-veteran – Super Bowl ad by Daniel Defense, a company that sells guns, detailing a father who declares that he will protect his family. “No one has the right to tell me how to defend them," he says. The banning promoted this epic response from Colion Noir, a football fan, attorney - and NRA News commentator - who destroys the NFL for their hypocrisy. He adds, “This type of selective censorship is really bordering on the line of social lunacy where
Enrollment surge or no enrollment surge, the next Obamacare challenge is a big one: How will the White House make sure all those people with canceled policies get new coverage by Jan. 1? At the rate the signups are going — even with the speedier, newly functioning Obamacare website — the administration has a vast distance to travel before the estimated 4 to 5 million people with canceled policies get new health coverage.
Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio has named William J. Bratton his Police Commissioner. In returning to the job he held under Rudolph Giuliani in the nineteen-nineties, Bratton will be in charge of fulfilling one of de Blasio’s most prominent campaign promises: to end the stop-and-frisk tactics that were such a prominent part of Michael Bloomberg’s record as Mayor. But Bratton’s views on stop-and-frisk may be considerably different from those of his new boss. In May of this year, I profiled Shira Scheindlin, the federal judge who presided over the class-action lawsuit that challenged the N.Y.P.D.’s stop-and-frisk policies. In the course of reporting
The question all week long was this: Who are you going to believe, an illegal alien or the president of the United States of America? Obviously, if it’s a president who once went by an alias, Barry Soetoro, you go with Uncle Omar, 100 percent, no questions asked. And so it was that the White House finally admitted to another, uh, misstatement — despite previous denials, Barack/Barry did sleep on his beloved Uncle Omar’s couch in Cambridge when he first moved here to attend Harvard Law School (speaking of which, we’re still waiting to see the president’s grades and his LSAT scores). But the
More young men in California rise in pitch at the end of their sentences when talking, new research shows. This process is known as "uptalk" or "valleygirl speak" and has in the past been associated with young females, typically from California or Australia. But now a team says that this way of speaking is becoming more frequent among men.The findings were presented at the Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America in California. "We found use of uptalk in all of our speakers, despite their diverse backgrounds in socioeconomic status, ethnicity, bilingualism and gender," said Amanda Ritchart, a linguist at the University of
How do you get your arms around the catastrophe known as Obamacare? Is it even possible? At this point, I’m not sure it is. The list of individual disasters which threaten to ruin one-sixth of the U.S. economy and what has been, up until now, the best healthcare system in the world is exhaustive, and exhausting. The examples I will identify here barely scratch the surface. First but by no means foremost, we have the supposedly new and improved HealthCare.gov. Except it’s not, even the visible part. Stories still abound of people still failing to get in or to get through the enrollment
DAVID CORN: I saw a president who remains frustrated with the political-media culture that he has to work within, and that he´s looking to rally people, students here, and supporters, and people within the media. CHRIS MATTHEWS: But David Corn, you skeptic. He came to us today. He came amongst us. CORN: He´s trying to rally people behind this vision that he´s been promoting for a couple years. FINEMAN: By the way, he did it the end here, today, Chris, not by defending specifics, but by explaining why he´s in the game to begin with. And I don´t know about you, he´s
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
The most curious thing of all about the November jobs report released on Friday was the huge drop in the unemployment rate — and the fact that the Labor Department chose not to disclose that the data going into that figure are under investigation for falsification. On Nov. 19, I broke the news in my column that the Census Bureau, which collects data that goes into the jobless rate on behalf of Labor, had caught one of its enumerators fabricating interviews in 2010. The culprit said back then (and to me during an interview) that he was told to do so by

Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack,
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
One definition of a pathological liar is someone who lies where the truth would serve just as well. When President Obama’s uncle, Onyango Obama, was arrested in 2011 for drunk driving, the truth — that Obama had stayed with his uncle years earlier for several weeks as a Harvard law student — would have served the president just fine. No potential Obama voter would have held it against him that an uncle he had stayed with two decades earlier was picked up for DUI. Yet the White House went with a lie, claiming that Obama had never met his uncle. Now that
The U.S. isn´t called "America the Beautiful" for nothing. Each year, millions of tourists come from home and abroad to see the country´s majestic landscape and iconic sites, from the Grand Canyon to the Statue of Liberty. But there are also cool, quirky attractions, like Vermont´s Ben & Jerry´s Factory and Tennessee´s Graceland, the former home of Rock and Roll King Elvis Presley. From California to New York and everywhere in between, the country is chock-full of incredible attractions that keep luring in visitors. Here are the best tourist attractions in every state.
