Tea Party Group Drafting Sarah
Palin to Run for Alaska Senate

U.S. News & World Report, by Elizabeth Flock

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 4/30/2013 8:36:08 PM

"Do the words ´Senator Sarah Palin´ excite you?" That´s the opening line of a recent email by The Tea Party Leadership Fund, which is trying to draft the former Alaska governor and past Fox News commentator to run for the Senate in 2014. The fund argues Palin has a clear path to victory in part due to recent polling showing incumbent Sen. Mark Begich, a Democrat, with less than 50 percent of the vote. But, it being a draft, the group hasn´t talked with Palin about whether or not she´s interested.

I am pretty much broke, but I would donate a hundred dollars to her campaign fund in a heartbeat just to help her win. The political influence a Tea Party member would have from holding a Senate seat is worth the effort of rearranging my budget. The national budget needs a Tea Party member involved with it. Besides all that, the angst her becoming a Senator would engender among liberals would be so pleasant to watch.

The moment Sarah walks into the Senate, it will be divided into two groups. Sarah and the other 99. There will be a lot of vested interests from outside Alaska who will try to see that it doesn´t happen.

#1, I admire your resolve.
I am in a field where my campaign donations are limited especially for someone I can not vote for but,
if this happens I will check out what the maximum is and send the maximum her way.

We need more of her type to pick up the banner and go for it.

NEW YORK -- Fast-food protests are planned for several U.S. cities Tuesday as labor organizers look to bring attention to practices they say illegally deprive workers of their wages. The protests are planned for about 30 cities, but it´s not clear what the scope of the turnout will be. It´s part of an ongoing campaign by labor groups to build support for pay of $15 an hour and bring attention to the rights of low-wage workers. Organizers have also been referring workers to attorneys, who filed lawsuits in three states last week saying McDonald´s was stealing their wages in a

Maybe Barack Obama should have given Zach Galifianakis an off-ramp, like the one he keeps trying to offer Vladimir Putin. Secession: Following Sunday´s forced referendum and despite U.S. and European Union sanctions, it looks like Russia will succeed in separating Crimea from Ukraine. Are the borders of every country now up for grabs? But allowing Crimea to be pried away from Ukraine by threat of force after Russia´s fraudulent referendum sends a signal to disgruntled regions of the world that, when it comes to borders,

The expected rate hikes will be announced in the coming months amid an intense election year, when control of the Senate is up for grabs.
