AP Omits ´Muslim´

Breitbart's Big Journalism, by Warner Tood Hunter

In some of its reports on Saturday night´s White House Correspondents Dinner (WHCD), the Associated Press failed to include one of President Obama´s own gags. AP strangely left out the word "Muslim" in one of Obama´s self-referential jokes. Early in his comments on April 26, President Obama made reference to his young life with a joke and a visual image projected on the video screen. The President joked that everyone loves Michelle and mentioned that she has even appeared on magazine covers. The President said he also appeared on one and showed a mock magazine cover

Lying by omission is still lying, whether the omission is a printed word, a spliced or doctored audio tape, or placing words strategically over George Zimmerman´s scalp injuries in a TV "news" video. If accused rapists are fair game for having their names released, why shouldn´t we know the names of journalists who get caught distorting the truth?

I started calling them AP (Always Phony" when they faked the photos of the little girl killed in Iraq. I also saved an article about our Marines shooting the car with the Italian journalist, and killed her body guard. All the news was the car would not stop, so the Marines shot the engine block. Her body guard was killed by a ricochet. The AP (Always Phony) news ran a picture of a car that had the windshield all shot up on the passenger side. In the small print under the photo, it stated that photo was from another car from a month earlier, and was stopped by the Iraqi Police.

The Clinton Library took the wraps off another batch of White House documents Friday afternoon, offering new insights into how aides scrambled to address the Monica Lewinsky scandal, how the hot-button issue of race tied the White House staff up in knots and how former President Bill Clinton cast a wide net for advice in advance of his major speeches. The new set of Clinton documents make little mention of then-first lady Hillary Clinton, and so are unlikely to have a major political impact. However, many of the memos were written by or mention aides to Bill Clinton who now hold

WASHINGTON — The online insurance marketplace in Oregon is such a technological mess that residents have been signing up for health coverage by hand. In Texas, political opposition to President Obama’s health law is so strong that some residents believe, erroneously, that the program is banned in their state. But in Connecticut, a smoothly functioning website, run by competent managers, has successfully enrolled so many patients that officials are offering to sell their expertise to states like Maryland, which is struggling to sign people up for coverage. The disparities reveal a stark truth about the Affordable Care Act: With the first open

Connor Boals, 26, and Yon Pomrenze, 35, made multiple attempts to get onto Ground Zero before being arrested shortly after 2 p.m., law enforcement sources said. The pair initially tried to get through a gate at Vesey and Washington streets, with a source saying they told the cop who stopped them that “if a 16-year-old could get on the site, they should be able to get in.” Next, they headed east, with Boals twice being spotted

Some on the left observed that the Republican Party fails to appeal to young and minority voters because they are viewed as a party focused entirely on preserving the gains made by those who are already successful. They advised the GOP to devote their attention to the problems faced by everyday Americans, specifically those of the less fortunate. It may surprise you to know that partisan Democrats do not

Health industry officials say ObamaCare-related premiums will double in some parts of the country, countering claims recently made by the administration. The expected rate hikes will be announced in the coming months amid an intense election year, when control of the Senate is up for grabs. The industry complaints come less than a week after Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius sought to downplay concerns about rising premiums in the healthcare sector. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.
