Chelsea Clinton Interviews...
The GEICO Gecko?

NewsBusters, by Noel Sheppard

Original Article

Posted By:harper, 4/28/2013 2:38:50 PM

As NewsBusters readers know, TV critics have not been impressed with Chelsea Clinton’s reporting skills at NBC. This certainly won’t change after Friday’s Rock Center wherein the former presidential daughter actually interviewed – wait for it! – the GEICO gecko: Chelsea Clinton: Getting pigeon-holed is a worry even for a gecko. So he was only too happy to answer our questions. Are you concerned about being typecast? Gecko: Well, I definitely don't get the hunky leading man roles. Although I could probably get the hunky leading gecko roles. Clinton: Have you always had that accent?

That upright walking green animated character definitely ain´t the Lizard King. It´s natural that the Princess of Nepotism would do the interview. How many takes and edits did it require?

After getting an almost humorously, insultingly high quote on auto insurance (I drive a sports car) from Geico--that´s Government Employees´ Insurance Company--several years ago, I concluded that these ubiquitous annoying ads were fifty shades of brown stuff with a Cockney accent. Feeling somewhat like Elvis watching Robert Goulet on a Vegas telecast, for several years I blamed Geico´s ad agency for rubbing viewers´ noses in unpleasantries ad after asinine ad. But then I realized that no ad would run on public airwaves without the enthusiastic support of the suits, so I came to the conclusion that the company is run by people I´d rather not associate with under any circumstances. "Weee weee weee," my achin´ backside. Where´s my shotgun?

This is our American idol / Kardashian culture that will be the downfall of our country. Fox & Friends had a media critic on who did a petition drive by saying it would help Obama - and people signed without knowing what rights they would give away. He said he had so much tape to show - but it was all the same - STUPID PEOPLE! And that, my friends, is why we have a Marxist / socialist / communist in the White House for a 2nd term.

chelsea´s resume is pathetic. All her jobs are
make believe. She was a "hedge fund manager," did odd jobs for her parents and now she´s a "journalist." In between jobs, she attended graduate school, which was likely fake. Her marriage is fake. At some point she can direct the clinton foundation, which she really won´t, but can wear the title. chelsea is a flop and a bore. If she wasn´t such a dim light flickering, she´d have dismal self respect.

#8, I can explain Chelsea´s resume, her CV, for ya...

"Hedge fund manager" =
she was paid to do yard work by mom and dad, and managed the allowance money she
got from them... all by herself... see?

Heck, I watered outdoor flowerbeds at a health food store for my friends there...
On my resume, it said...
"Plant manager for a nutritional company"
See how it works?
Liberal arts verbal skills can come in very handy sometimes.

Btw, you´ll notice...
The Gecko is better looking...
not to mention more reliable and experienced.

Maybe she had sex with him behind the hedge.

I`d like to see Chelsea`s college transcripts before Mommy & Daddy buy her a NY senate seat, but I doubt we ever will, considering she has a `degree` from Stanford, which is weird considering she was hardly ever there.

Meanwhile, Liz Cheney probably couldn`t get elected to public office because - well - her name is Cheney.

Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
