The Gosnell silence:
Murder, abortion and the media

Union Leader [Manchester, NH], by Editorial

In Philadelphia, a doctor is on trial for the gruesome murders of eight people inside his low-rent office. A former assistant testified that she personally witnessed the physician commit at least 30 murders. Most of the patients were "beheaded," another assistant said, adding that there was "blood all over the place." If you have not heard of this doctor´s trial for committing a terrifying, decades-long string of serial killings, there is a reason. He is an abortionist. His name is Kermit Gosnell. (Snip) "There was blood on the floor. A stench of urine filled the air. A flea-infested cat was wandering through the

Comments:
Finally. Unflinching and raw. What was really happening in the murder suite of an abortion mill. Probably had the stench of death embedded in the walls. This one happened to be in the poor neighborhoods of Philadelphia and run by a true believer in death, Kermit Gosnell.

Endless coverage of Sandy Hook (fund raising, crying congress critters, pandering to the parents, killing of the Constitution legislation proposed), and don´t get me wrong it was horrific and no parent should have to experience it, but no coverage at all regarding Gosnell - because abortion is the sacrament of the religion of the left.

God owes us (US) no favors and has every right to let this once great nation fall.

When the opposite of pro-life was allowed to become pro-choice rather than pro-death as it should have been, the culture war was lost. Then the social and political, outcomes were logical consequences. Sad!

There are the Godly and there are the Godless.

If you notice, there is nothing the left supports that is right and there is nothing the left is against that is wrong. If it is right, they are against it. If it is wrong, they are for it. If it is sacred, they will violate it, if it is evil they will worship it. If it is holy they will mock it, if it is unholy, they will respect it.

Evil is having its way with America...

God have mercy on America.

Moscow - Russia on Thursday dismissed as "primitive distortion of reality", cynicism and double standards a U.S. Department of State fact sheet that called President Vladimir Putin´s comments on the crisis in Ukraine false. Moscow and the West are locked in a Cold War-style tug-of-war over Ukraine, where a regional parliament in Crimea on Thursday voted to join Russia after a pro-Western popular revolt in Kiev toppled a Moscow-backed president. With the document titled "President Putin´s Fiction: 10 False Claims About Ukraine", Washington has dropped diplomatic niceties and all but accused Moscow of lying about events in Ukraine.

In a move that surprised even his most cynical critics, Gov. Corbett on Wednesday night forestalled an estimated $3 billion in cuts to food stamps in the state over the next 10 years. By doing so, Corbett became the first Republican governor in the country to prevent the cuts ordered by Congress, which is looking to slash $8.6 billion over the next decade to the food-stamp program, now called SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). The governor´s decision will preserve benefits for 400,000 Pennsylvania households slated to lose a monthly average of $60 to $65 each in benefits, amounting to $300 million a year,

E-cigarette use didn’t stop young smokers from partaking in regular cigarettes as well. The global market for e-cigarettes may top $5 billion this year, according to Euromonitor International Ltd. estimates.

Joint U.S.-Israeli missile defense programs would be reduced by nearly $200 million under President Barack Obama’s fiscal year 2015 budget proposal, prompting concern from lawmakers who have fought to keep the critical defense programs fully funded. Israeli Cooperative Programs—which include the Arrow II, Arrow III, and David’s Sling missile defense systems—are slated to receive $96.8 million under Obama’s newly released budget proposal, a reduction of nearly $200 million from the previous year’s finalized levels. The funding dip hits as the White House seeks to significantly reduce the overall U.S. defense budget and enact severe cuts to the U.S. military.

Caracas, Venezuela - Thousands of Venezuelans mourned the passing of President Hugo Chavez on the first anniversary of his death on Wednesday, while National Guard troops fired tear gas and rubber bullets at anti-government activists who pressed on with street protests despite the commemorations. Chavez´s successor, President Nicolas Maduro, angrily announced that he would break off relations with Panama, which he accused of being a "lackey" of the US in what he has repeatedly called a conspiracy to topple his government through the daily protests that have left at least 18 dead since mid-February.

Where Lois Lerner goes, drama follows. On Wednesday, the former IRS officer again invoked the Fifth before the House Oversight Committee. That precipitated a heated exchange between the committee’s Republican chairman, Darrell Issa, and Democratic ranking member Elijah Cummings, who called the hearings “un-American.” And that spat has become the story. No doubt that is exactly what Cummings had in mind. Because it distracts attention from the substance of the hearings — and from the questions raised by e-mails and public remarks Lois Lerner wrote, received or made when she was IRS Director of Tax Exempt Organizations. They look genial enough. But Democrats are embarking on a broad effort that aims to unmask the press-shy siblings and portray them, instead, as a pair of villains bent on wrecking progressive politics. On Thursday, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is starting a digital campaign that will use Internet ads and videos, as well as social media, to tie Republican Senate candidates to the policies and actions of the Koch brothers.
