Trial of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell
reveals ‘a house of horrors’

It was a scene the Philadelphia District Attorney called “a house of horrors.” A warning to readers, some of the details in this story are gruesome. West Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell is on trial for running an abortion clinic in which he allegedly killed babies that had survived illegal, late-term abortions, and where a woman allegedly died of a botched pain-killer injection. (Snip) “There are any number of witnesses, most of them former employees of Dr. Gosnell’s clinic, who say they saw late-term abortions being done, they saw fetuses, babies, that were moving, breathing after the procedure,

So if the facility was spotlessly clean then killing the babies would be okay?

I´m surprised at CNN for missing an opportunity to inject race into the equation. So unlike them! /s

No mention that minority women were treated differently (worse) than white women.

CNN does a good job of reporting on the grisly facts.

FTA-" District Attorney Seth Williams described the clinic and Gosnell at length in the grand jury testimony.
“This case is about a doctor who killed babies and endangered women.
What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns .."

The MSM can´t decry what he did without indicting abortion in the process. Supposedly this man decapitated / dismembered and just snuffed out live born infants. Is that not what happens in the abortion process? How dare these babies born alive? Yeap, they can´t cover it. They are conflicted up to their skinny libbies neck.

Those pregnant woman gave him the permission to do as he likes and the the government too. Isn´t PP advocating for doing exactly what this man did. Abort and if born alive, kill. Mengele-like physicians have it made in those joints.

Tony Abbott says rescue teams have homed in on signals they are now certain belong to the black box flight recorder from missing Malaysian flight MH370. The Prime Minister, who is in Shanghai, spoke after an aviation expert claimed the breakthrough discovery had been made. Mr Abbott said they were now engaged in a race against time to find the black box as the signal starts to fade. He will meet personally tonight with Chinese President Xi Jinping to update him on the latest efforts to find the black box, hinting it would soon be located. “We have very much narrowed down the search area...we have now had a series of detections,

Perth, Australia - Australia’s prime minister says searchers hunting for the missing Malaysian jetliner are confident underwater signals that have been picked up are coming from the jet’s black box. Tony Abbott told reporters while on an official visit to China that Australian authorities are confident they know the location of the black box from the plane that disappeared without a trace on March 8 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing. The plane’s black boxes, or flight data and cockpit voice recorders, could help solve the mystery of why Flight 370 veered so far off course.

Washington - Even when Sylvia Mathews Burwell was in her early 30s, friends speculated that she might return to her native Hinton, W.Va., and run for governor someday. After all, she had been a Rhodes scholar, and her mother — who later became mayor of Hinton, pop. 2,600 — had driven her daughter’s interest in politics. So far that has not happened, but plenty of other things under two presidents have. On Friday, President Obama is to nominate Ms. Burwell, currently director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, to take over one of the largest and most unwieldy parts of the federal bureaucracy as secretary of health and

If you really want to appreciate the good work that House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan and the House Republicans did Thursday in passing their budget, consider the Pencil Story. A friend of mine teaches a class that includes a lot of children from families caught up in the government welfare system, a system that encourages dependency and discourages self-reliance. She told me that the students sometimes come to class on test day without even bringing a pencil. Without a pencil, the kids face getting a zero on the test, but that, my teacher-friend said, was the point. Because they know the public schools will push them along

A panel of House Republicans voted on Thursday to hold former IRS official Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress, citing her refusal to answer questions about the agency’s targeting of conservative organizations for special scrutiny. The 21-12 vote by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which has been probing the alleged abuse since the scandal erupted last spring, broke along party lines: each of the panel’s Republicans voted to censure Lerner, while the Democrats on the committee opposed the resolution. The vote comes a day after Republicans on a separate committee formally requested the Department of Justice to

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or
