California Considers Mandated

Cybercast News Service, by Ben Shapiro

For decades, members of the left have insisted that the right is fighting a war on science. But when it comes to the issues of abortion and homosexuality, it is the left that fights a consistent and ridiculous war with reality. This week, Wesley Smith of the Weekly Standard reported that California would be considering AB 460, a bill that would mandate group insurance coverage for so-called gay and lesbian "infertility." What in the world does that bizarre phrase mean? It doesn´t mean situations in which two members of a lesbian couple are both infertile and incapable

What used to be up is now sideways. What´s down used to be over. What´s across used to be under. Did God, our creator really intend His creations to end up like this?
I cannot any longer follow some of this nonsense.

There are few ideas less scientific than post modernism fixation on gender as a social construct and the flip side of the coin-a family is what people want to call a family.

Who is trying to get pregnant? the gay males or the gay female? (equality you know)
It really seems unfair to me because the females have twice the ability to conceive by virtue of two set of reproductive organs. The males are at a distinct disadvantage because some mean god forgot to give them uterus, tubes and ovaries.
How terribly unfair. Maybe Jerry Brown could match the unpregnant Males and unpregnant females together and have a win-win outcome. Wait, wasn´t Ashley Judd just complaining about "Breeders"?

Insanity is ruling our society. Through the mid seventies so-called "gay people" were referred to shrinks to help solve their aberrant behavioral issues. Ever since society stopped using shrinks to remedy the abnormal persons in our society, gay persons and nuts with guns are increasing in number.

For the female-partnered-females, you (yes, Californian, YOU) will be paying for vendor insemination and IVF, i.e. veterinary breeding technologies. For the males, you may end up paying for the rental of reproductive concubines.

I imagine that the courts or the legislature will discover that inmates in California´s prisons have a right to reproduce as well, and as a treatment for convict infertility, they´ll ALL be renting surrogates on your dime.

Dime? They may have to seize your retirement savings. No prob. You had more than you needed anyway, right?

Infertility is a medical condition, not a matter of choice. Fred and Bruce may both be perfectly fertile, simply not with each other. Gays´ next familial need will be for some future medical innovation by which Fred may breast feed his new offspring. California would no doubt be prepared to spend billions in research to accommodate him.

The Roots of CAIR’s

Author’s Note: This week, capitulating to Islamic-supremacist agitation led by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Brandeis University reneged on its announced plan to present an honorary degree to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the heroic human-rights activist. In my 2010 book, The Grand Jihad, I devoted a chapter to the origins and purposes of CAIR, its roots in the Muslim Brotherhood’s Hamas-support network, and its aim to silence critics of Islamic supremacism. In light of the continuing success of this campaign — despite a federal terrorism-financing prosecution that exposed CAIR’s unsavory background — it is worth revisiting that history. Despite the testimony of GM CEO Mary Barra that the company "acted without hesitation" to address the ignition switch problems that served as the basis for the latest recall of millions of vehicles, emails show that GM failed to address product problems, some of which Barra herself seemed fully aware of, at least as far back as 2011. The company, often derided as "Government Motors" because of the billions of tax dollars infused into it by President Obama, has been under fire this month because of ignition switch problems linked to dozens of crashes and perhaps as many as 13 deaths.

SAN DIEGO, CA -- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke via satellite to attendees of San Diego’s Western Healthcare Leadership Academy on Apr. 11, just days after canceling plans to attend in person. Two protest groups gathered outside the San Diego Convention Center for the conference, but for two different reasons. One group of 10-15 demonstrators, promoting a single-payer healthcare system, stood across from the Convention Center. While playing a recording of the folk tune “Medicare for All,” the group spoke to passing pedestrians for approximately two hours. The other protest, directly in front of the Convention Center,

But, in a filing Monday to the nation´s highest court, it said an appeal should first be considered by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals because there is no imminent risk that the cross is removed. A new report by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service finds that solar facilities in California are acting like “mega traps” that kill and injure birds. As a result, “entire food chains” are being disrupted. USFWS’s National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory studied three solar farms in Southern California: Desert Sunlight, Genesis Solar and Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System (ISEGS). Two-hundred and thirty-three different birds from 71 species were found over the course of a two-year study. The three main causes of death were: 1. Solar flux: Exposure to temperatures over 800 degrees F. 2. Impact (or blunt force) trauma:

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Because you can find anything on the Web, you can easily search and pull up a running clock that tells you just how long, to the second, Barack Obama has been president. It moves in real time. It only feels like it´s speeding up. Constrained by crises over which he has little power to impact events, hemmed in by a divided Congress more interested in scoring points with voters than in legislating, and watching as his potential successor assumes more and more of the political spotlight, Obama may be receding into history more quickly than either he or his aides ever anticipated. It was impossible to listen to the president's speech Thursday
