Pat Smith and 700 Special Ops
American Spectator, by Jeffrey Lord

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 4/11/2013 6:13:54 AM

Seven hundred Military Special Operations professionals. And one insistent and very angry Mom. This is becoming a deadly combination for the political game players in the Obama Administration. Sean Smith, the young State Department computer wizard who was brutally murdered that September night in Benghazi, was Pat Smith’s only child. Let’s say that again. Sean Smith was Mrs. Smith’s only child. To listen to her recent radio interview with another Sean… Sean Hannity… is to have the heart break.

I really feel for this poor woman who´s not getting an ounce of sympathy from the MSM. Compare this to all the crying towels for cindy Shehan who basically abandoned her killed boy when he was a kid.The government owes them woman an explanation that she´ll never get because the Benghazi attack was orchestrated by Obama himself. Why else would he evaporate into thin air the night of the attack?

This is true. I forgot about Sheehan. Why was she depicted and lionized in the press as a brave heroine while this poor woman is ignored? Talk about a double standard!

God Bless and keep safe not only Mrs. Smith, who lost her only child, but those 700 (and I hope it grows to thousands) SpecOps demanding answers. Mr. Hannity, God Bless you too for stepping up to help this grieving Mother.

Again, where has my country gone? Every day, through two deployments, I have been stilled in sheer terror should an early morning or late night call come into my home. I as many many others await the safe arrival of my child. Mine is my only son.

Again, I ask, where has my country gone? Are we going to sit back and allow this?

The MSM covered Cindy Sheehan´s lone voice, her every move, including when she passed gas. She was a liberal icon even though she is an ignoramus with an illegitimate issue. She could be used and therefore was valuable to the Left.

But enter another lone voice demanding legitimate attention to a legitimate heartbreak, anger and concern, and the MSM is deathly silent.

The fact that Mrs Smith, the parents of the 3 other State Department officers and the parents/wives of the 7+ seriously wounded CIA agents have not been on CBS´ 60 Minutes, the Today Show and an ABC slobber fest presents a frightening example of state run news. Our "news media" have turned into Pravda and TASS, or organs of the regime. The media comply with every Obama order, and only present that news the shapes positive opinions of Obama. This propaganda effort has been well entrenched, but never more evident than in the case of Mrs Smith. Her frustration over the barriers blocking access to the truth about Sean´s death would be perfect for a Diane Sawyer or Geraldo Rivera, yet there is nothing.

The fact that the parents of the 3 other State Department officers and the parents/wives of the 7+ seriously wounded CIA agents have not been heard from at all is a frightening example of what our current administration is capable of.

I lived behind the iron curtain in the early 80´s, in Ceaucescu´s Romania, and the US today is looking more and more like Romania did then.

This is not bias, this is not familial loyalty, this is not Obama´s socialist apparatchiks trying to gain control of our nation. This is vile, concentrated and distilled wickedness.

It is obvious that the MSM pick and choose what is newsworthy and Benghazi was and is not. To find out the truth and to report it would put a bad light on Hillary and Barry. Can´t have that. They all have much to answer for. Tell them to get off of that trial of the woman who slashed her boyfriend to death and get on to finding out the truth about Benghazi where four Americans serving our country were murdered and our leaders let it happen and don´t care. All they care about is the next election and making sure they win. Power and money and fame is all they care about.

Those who think the story of the death of Sean Smith and his three colleagues is of political import need to pause for a moment to ponder the question: What ever happened to that thing called, "Fast and Furious?" Certainly by 2016, and likely sooner, the story of Sean Smith will be long gone. It will have been successfully disappeared by all the bureaucrats who have stonewalled to conceal their own culpability;. Disappeared by the main stream media that is in bed with these same bureaucrats. And disappeared from the thoughts and minds of our low information voters who, if the truth be told, never gave it much thought anyway.

Thank you Jeffrey Lord for writing this outstanding article and thank you, Ms. Lucianne, for making it a Must Read.

I´ve tried to analyze my own feelings to find something good in all of this national grief. I talk to God all the time (I´m not good at formal prayer - just talk. Poor God, I imagine Him thinking I´m like the kid that is always asking "why" about everything that is too complicated for a simple answer.

Anyway, in my "talks" I tell God that I know He couldn´t interfere to save our people in Benghazi because He gave man Free Will, but can He, please inspire someone to do something to help give our grieving nation the truth of what happened?

Bless Pat Smith, God surely inspired her to keep asking questions, like a child. And God has inspired these Special Ops veterans to band together to help Mrs. Smith get some answers. In doing so, this "truth" may lead to other "truths" which have been covered up that are leading our nation down a path of destruction.

As my dear father always used to tell me when I couldn´t understand sad things and "why didn´t God intervene to not let the bad thing happen" - he would tell me "God moves in mysterious ways His wonders to perform". I´m "praying" that Pat Smith and the 700 Special Ops are the "mysterious ways He´s performing".

I think there must be thousands of people involved in this coverup. Officers and staff aboard ships and generals at bases who were told to "stand down". And what about the medical staff that tended to Hillary when she "bumped" her head? Other staff people injured at the consulate and their families. You´ve got to believe that out of all these people, someone, somewhere, sometime is going to unload their conscience and spill the beans. Right?

We need to see what was in Obamas intelligence briefings for the mornings of 9/10 and 9/11. I know he was briefed on the threat from al-zawahiri seeking revenge for the death of his Libyan friend by drone attack. That was likely the trigger for the attack and protests in Egypt, led by al-zawahiri´s brother.

Creatively think of Benghazi as a Waco/Mc Murra Oklahoma kind of audience test. A test of the media power of obfuscation and censorship. A test that dulls the public mind leaving most Americans with little to ponder and nothing to question. As outrageous and cynical as this may seem to you, from an Ob and Hillary Hitlerian truth avoidance point of view, Benghazi was a major political finesse media victory. They put over a multi murder with complete cooperation of their propaganda protectors, Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, Wolf Blitzer, the whole commie comrade lot. Consider that the cover-up and evasion of the Benghazi assassinations was a WH/media victory. Truism: there will never be an answer. Very much like so many surreptitiously "assisted" crises we suffer, that are repeatedly forced upon us.

BUNKERVILLE, NEVADA—The Bundy Ranch roundup has understandably stirred thin-stretched emotions as the federal government seizes cattle belonging to the Bundy family. The family settled in the late 1800’s and has ranched in the area since. The federal government allowed Nevada ranchers to graze their cattle on federal tracts of land adjacent to their private properties for generations. The federal government later created the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to administer and “protect” the vast swaths of federal land—including the land the Bundy family’s livelihood was—and still is—dependent upon. The BLM began restricting ranchers’ usage of federal lands to protect various

A huge wave of public testimony, reports and documents on what happened in Benghazi now floods Washington, and little of it focuses on the role of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton before, on, or after Sept. 11, 2012. They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. Barack Obama won the presidency because in an election where the premium was on change, it mattered little

A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no." Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, "I live in a city and a state and a country where I

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

Say what you will about Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), but they know a train wreck when they see it. They also know when to separate themselves from the cranks and the losers on the right. Although both supported the shutdown and were heartily supported by tea party groups in their own Senate races, neither one has endorsed Matt Bevin in Kentucky, Milton Wolf in Kansas or Chris McDaniel in Mississippi. In fact, Cruz’s office confirms he hasn’t endorsed anyone in the primaries. He may weigh in after the primaries. Rand Paul has endorsed two very establishment

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. Surveillance footage shows eight women piling into a Sunglass Hut and crowding around display cases. Shielding workers from what they´re doing, they quickly stuff dozens of fashion specs into their bags. A store clerk pleads with them to stop, before running out of the shot to get help and dial 911. The thieves then all bolt outside and escape in a waiting SUV. The incident occurred at the Valencia Town Center mall, in Santa Clarita, at 3 p.m. on

President Obama pulled a surprise move Monday at the White House’s Easter Prayer Breakfast when he selected Gene Robinson to lead the closing prayer. Robinson is famously known as the first openly gay Episcopal bishop. Talking Points Memo’s Tom Kludt spotted the following tweet from Robinson, who was in attendance: (Tweet) Robinson, 66, became diocesan bishop of New Hampshire in March 2004. He retired in January 2013 and is currently a senior fellow at the progressive

A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Democrats hope to retain control of the Senate and recapture the House by driving
