GOP says Obama’s budget blows
chance of ‘grand bargain’

Washington Times, by Dave Boyer and Susan Crabtree

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 4/10/2013 10:42:12 PM

Top congressional Republicans declared President Obama’s tax-laden budget for fiscal 2014 dead on arrival Wednesday, saying its failure to cut deficits destroys any hope of a “grand bargain” to fix the federal government’s fiscal crisis. The White House promoted the budget as an effort to restart negotiations on long-term deficit reduction with a mix of higher taxes on the wealthy and modest trims to entitlement programs. But House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, Wisconsin Republican, said the president’s proposals on Social Security and Medicare don’t come close to addressing the programs’ looming insolvency.

Hey, GOP, he, and the Democrats have NEVER been interested in bargaining, or governing or anything else except campaigning.

They are acting as if they care, but only looking to extend the continuing resolution so they don´t have to vote on anything like Abomination´s 5th DOA budget proposal.

They are also working the margins to build small niche segments of voters to take marginal districts away from GOP.

There is no one in obama´s administration that is competent enough to produce a rational budget. Every person recruited by obama is a utopian fool, incapable of rational thought.

Obama´s in the process of hanging himself with SS indexing and the republicans just can´t let that lie as they continue to rail for entitlement reform to cut seniors even more.

Leave seniors alone and start attacking the real problems.Amnesty alone would send this country off the bankruptcy cliff, yet they want to work with the dems as some sort of suicidal outreach. The illegals in Cal. alone could bankrupt Obamacare as people scurry across the border for expensive operations.

I think that zippy produces these outrageous, insane, never-have-a-chance-to-pass budgets on purpose. That way he can play the martyr to "not being able to get anything done inside Washington", especially when his own party won´t vote for them. Then he feels entitled ( of course! ) to pull out the executive order pen and does whatever he wants, knowing that congress will never utter a peep because that would be RACIST.

Obozo ("The Deadliest Outside Shooter in B-Ball Evah") was allegedly some sort of "law professor." So right there you know his math skills are about at the third grade level.

Which begs the question: Are his supporters any smarter? I think not.

Another chant that has been repeated a gazillion time in the past 5yrs is "we have to tax the rich more". And the simple fact that if they took 90% of their annual income, it still wouldn´t make much of a dent in the debt. Every politician in this country, down deep down, knows that. The real money is with the middle class simply because they make up the very largest segment of our society. That´s where the money is. And Obozo and co. have been going overboard in attempting to hide what they are really trying to do. And that is to establish a 2 tier society. A handful of very wealthy that run the country and a 99% of the rest that work their butts off for nothing except to hand it over to the ruling class.

Buy (or try to) more ammo. Your going to need every round.

2 axioms:
1.There are 2 things in abundance in the Universe: hydrogen and human stupidity.
2. It is horrifying when the government treats (considers) his people like slaves, what is more horrifying is when people agree with that.
What I am trying to say – stop harping about the things obozo does. I don’t believe this lame brain vacationer-in-chief is capable of this. There is a huge well-oiled machine behind the scenes: most likely soros, jarrett and chicago are part of it, but there is much more than them.
We need to work with people who really (I mean, really-really) oppose it. Not rinos like Boehner or preibus. These guys are worried only about their cushy positions (of importance and power). Unless we find those people and unite with them I don’t see much of a progress in stopping statist (leftist/commie/fascist) Agenda.
Agenda has almost full control of the media, banks (finances), some of the industries, definitely police and homeland security. Btw, have you noticed the article about IRS going to use google, facebook and twitter data in its work? What do you think IRS is going to use it for? To single out the dissidents and audit them with prejudice? Or pursue the poor welfare recipients who brag about buying new big screen TV?
We see it now how the rinos one by one (not just the rinos, even the marco rubio we had so much hope for) surrender to the Agenda!
P.S note: And now we have a prez (and his wifie) who hate America, white people and especially people (any race!) who strive for unalianable Rights! Just peachy!

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. The Obama administration said Friday that it would block Iran’s nominee as ambassador to the United Nations from entering the United States, setting up a new confrontation with Tehran just as relations with the Islamic republic appeared to be improving. The decision to bar entry to the diplomat, who was allegedly involved in the 1979 seizure of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, followed intense political pressure on the administration from Republicans and Democrats on Capitol Hill. But it also marked a rare instance in which Washington has effectively vetoed another country’s preferred choice as envoy to the United Nations. Iran

Struggling homeowners across the country could face significant new tax bills if they receive mortgage relief from their banks, a prospect that threatens to slow the housing recovery and put further strain on distressed borrowers. The collapse of the housing market and plunging home prices left millions of people stuck owing more on their mortgages than their homes were worth. Some have worked with their banks to reduce the loan amount to avoid foreclosure or enable a sale. In 2007, Congress adopted a law that spared those homeowners from being taxed on the amount of the loan that was forgiven. But

On Thursday, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius resigned her position. The New York Times reported the resignation as a punishment for failure: Officials said Ms. Sebelius, 65, made the decision to resign and was not forced out. But the frustration at the White House over her performance had become increasingly clear, as administration aides worried that the crippling problems at HealthCare.gov, the website set up to enroll Americans in insurance exchanges, would result in lasting damage to the president’s legacy. So Sebelius stuck around just long enough to reach the mythical 7 million enrollment number

The House Oversight Committee has voted to hold former IRS subpotentate Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress, while the House Ways and Means Committee has referred her case to the Justice Department for criminal prosecution. The facts in the case suggest very strongly that Ms. Lerner has earned the contempt of the American people as well as criminal prosecution to the full extent of the law. The question of whether Justice will do justice now rests with the Obama administration, in service to which Ms. Lerner organized and oversaw the repression of nonprofit activists under color of IRS authority. Grice had no idea that Uncle Sam had seized her money until some days later, when she got a letter saying that her refund had gone to satisfy an old debt to the government — a very old debt. When Grice was 4, back in 1960, her father died, leaving her mother with five children to raise.
