Bipartisan deal reached on
gun background checks

Washington Post, by Ed O´Keefe

Original Article

A bipartisan group of senators has struck a deal to expand gun background checks to all commercial sales — whether at gun shows, via the Internet or in any circumstance involving paid advertising, according to Senate aides familiar with the talks. The proposed agreement would be more stringent than current law, which requires checks only when purchases are made through a licensed dealer, but less than originally sought by President Obama and congressional Democrats, who were seeking to expand background checks to nearly every kind of sale.

I´m with #1. Filibuster. Let´s see which Rinos roll over and try to quash it so we know who to throw out in 2014!

Filibuster lite. Let this go to a vote so e can see how some fascist Senators like Pryor and Landrieu vote. They vote for this, they are in jeopardy come 2014 reelection time. It’s time to make the Red State Fascist make a stand with their liberal comrades. We need enough Rebublicans to force as many up for reelection Red state Dem senators declare their real intentions (to completely turn this country into a fascist regime).

The mischief in a proposed law is twofold -
First, how will the government figure out when a sale took place?
If I sell a gun to my neighbor, today, how will a future a law be enforced? (I have owned, traded, or sold about a hundred firearms in my life, so the question is valid for me.)
Second, how will the government require me to keep records, should I sell a gun to a neighbor, at some future date?
And, finally, won´t this be a route of access for nosy people who want to know about their neighbor´s possible psychiatric history??

Now a maximum effort to kill the entire bill MUST be made. Expanded background checks is the route to total lists of who owns what guns. The next step will be "Sir, we have decide that you cannot own this particular type of gun any longer and our list shows that you have one, so give it up." Then later there will be a new type of "bad gun" and THEY will be confiscated. Drip, drip, drip.

Confiscation lists is the ultimate goal since DAY ONE in this whole issue.

The disappearance four days ago of a Malaysian Airline Systems Bhd. (MAS) aircraft with 239 people on board is confounding search teams and a global audience used to around-the-clock connectivity and real-time updates. The Boeing Co. (BA) 777-200 wide-body, among the world’s safest planes, vanished without any distress call or other indication something was amiss. Half a week later, nine nations including the U.S. and Australia have joined a search that while focused on the Gulf of Thailand between Malaysia and Vietnam now extends west to Indonesia and east to the South China Sea. That the largest civil twin-engine airliner could

Sarah Palin delivered CPAC’s keynote speech on Saturday with wit and feisty charm that ignited the conservatives in the crowd. Palin had no reservations about attacking Obama and his administration, jabbing at Obamacare, the NSA, and particularly the so-called war on women. “We know better than to fall for that victimization line,” she said. “But if you have a sister or a friend, you have to set them straight. They entice girls to think they need guys to grow government. As has been reported, Rand Paul indeed won the Washington Times CPAC straw poll. Ted Cruz, however, was the big winner coming out of the conference -- and the weekend. No doubt about it. I say this because just minutes after some 750 mostly young CPAC straw voters had given Paul his numerical win and outsized vocal salute, a pair of very significant speeches -- talks that will live on virally for much longer and to far more voters -- changed the entire atmosphere of the weekend. In started in the very hall where Paul’s win was announced, as Sarah Palin electrified

SEVASTOPOL/KIEV - Ukraine´s government appealed for Western help on Tuesday to stop Moscow annexing Crimea but the Black Sea peninsula, overrun by Russian troops, seemed fixed on a course that could formalize rule from Moscow within days. With their own troops in Crimea effectively prisoners in their bases, the new authorities in Kiev painted a sorry picture of the military bequeathed them by the pro-Moscow president overthrown two weeks ago. They announced the raising of a new National Guard to be drawn from volunteers among veterans. The prime minister, heading for talks at the White House and United Nations, told parliament

This latest political reconstruction has received zero media notice, and the Health and Human Services Department didn´t think the details were worth discussing in a conference call, press materials or fact sheet. Instead, the mandate suspension was buried in an unrelated rule that was meant to preserve some health plans that
