MSNBC host: I’m not backing

Actually, she is backing off. Here’s the thing about her now-famous MSNBC promo: Either she’s saying something radical or she’s saying something so banal that it’s barely even worth saying. The radical interpretation is that she thinks parents should have less say over how their children are raised and that “communities” should have a larger role. The very, very banal interpretation is that she thinks communities should do more to improve children’s lives and that thinking of them as “our children” might help forge that mentality. The money line in the promo that pointed to the radical interpretation

I know exactly what she meant. Children have to be indoctrinated into the liberal ideology and they can´t let parents get in the way. The Left´s answer to our failing public school system is always more money despite the fact the U.S. spends more per capita than the rest of the world. It is about indoctrination not education to the Left.

As for her "tweet" shown at the end of the article, Matt. 5:44; Little lady, the babies you so advocate have the right to be killed by their mothers could have prayed for you--their enenmy, but you agreed they should be killed.

I hate it when liberals (who 99% of the time only use Jesus´ name as a swear word), use the Bible to "back up" their claims or victimhood. Sick minds!!!

The U.S. has said it is making moves to launch a search in the Indian Ocean in response to ´new information´ about the missing Malaysia Airlines plane which vanished six days ago. A White House spokesman confirmed that authorities were considering the new avenue of exploration, as a Pentagon official revealed that a destroyer from the U.S. Navy had been dispatched for the search. The plans, a development from previous searches in the South China Sea, were beginning to be put in place as a picture emerged of the doomed jet in the sky just a month ago.Scroll down for

The House approved legislation Thursday that would require the executive branch to notify Congress whenever it decides against enforcing federal law. The Faithful Execution of the Law Act is the second part of this week´s Republican plan to fight back against the Obama administration´s several decisions to selectively enforce federal law. The GOP says Obama has watered down immigration law by delaying some deportation proceedings, and continues to delay implementation of key parts of ObamaCare. (Snip) It passed 244-171, drawing the support of 18 Democrats. The addition of a notification requirement is a smaller step, but Republicans said transparency is an

Senators said Thursday they have reached a deal on a bill to renew federal unemployment benefits for the long-term jobless, announcing a bipartisan agreement that appears likely to have enough votes to clear a filibuster. The deal would provide five months of benefits, which would provide immediate relief for the 2 million who have seen their long-term benefits expire since the federal program ran out on Dec. 28. “We’re not at the finish line yet, but this is a bipartisan breakthrough,” said Sen. Jack Reed, the Rhode Island Republican who has pushed for the bill. Senate Republicans had filibustered several earlier

On Thursday, Secretary of State John Kerry testified before the Senate Appropriations Committee regarding the need to provide Ukraine with economic assistance during its transition from the government of deposed President Viktor Yanukovich. The aid bill has encountered resistance from House and Senate Republicans, particularly a provision to provide aid to the International Monetary Fund which would utilize funds already allocated to the U.S. military. It might as well have been a lifetime ago when Gil Kerlikowske began his job as the nation´s top drug official back in 2009. When President Obama appointed him to be director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy—a position known as the "drug czar"—only a dozen-plus states had legalized medical marijuana; a poll showing a minority of Americans support legalization could still be considered "record breaking;" and the disparity in sentences for users of crack and users of cocaine was still 100-1. The idea that two states would soon fully legalize the recreational use of marijuana seemed absurd.
